Review 1：It is a 20 minute walk to the centre which might be an issue for some people.

Review 2：The staff is very friendly and helpful. We arrived late at night and there was someone waiting for us to check us in. The room is very cosy. Every morning there was fresh coffee available and the kitchen is free to use for everyone. Wifi was available everywhere throughout the hostel. The staff even organised a christmas dinner for all the guests on Christmas Eve. The location is great. It is a bit of a walk to the centre, but it is very peaceful and quiet.

Review 4：Friendly and helpful landlady who was kind enough to wait for us even though we were late in a freezing weather. Spacious flat with a kitchen and bathroom and manages to keeps the old, original look. Wonderful value for money

Review 6：Very nice staff! Cozy little place. The studios are little furnished huts/houses that are very nice & comfortable and surround the main house/hostel!

Review 7：A bit far from the village (20mn on foot) but people there usually like sport anyway! You need to bring your own food and ski equipment. It's possible to find this in the nearby village.

Review 8：Awesome backpacker place in the heart or Lapland, cool staff, cozy atmosphere, perfect to meet people, experience the northern lights or just relax :) The staff organized a nice New Year's Eve party with karaoke on the guitar !

Review 9：The staff was excellent, made me feel at home. The location was easily within walking distance of everything in town, and the bus stop is right outside. Was able to see the Northern Lights right from the property.

Review 10：Tinja is a lovely person, she was very helpful and kind. We loved the charming fireplace where you could warm up. The rooms where very nice, the water was always hot. In the morning fresh coffee was always waiting.

Review 11：Wonderful remote location in West Lapland. Serviced by a bus from Kolari railway station. Walking distance to the little town including supermarket. Numerous hiking trails in the area, perfect place for peace and quiet. Not to mention amazing spot for the Northern Lights (and amazing staff to enjoy them with)!! The apartment was well-equipped and warm.

Review 21：The hostel and its surroundings are in a rather secluded area above the main road to Äkäslompolo. It takes about 20 minutes to get to the village centre by foot, which is the obvious trade-off and may bother some people, but I found it a good warm-up before starting a hike or go cross-country skiing or other. But, at night, you only have to step outside the hostel and have the chance to see the elusive aurora! The hostel is very comfy, I loved the common area which reminded me a lot of some arctic-like station where you could rest and warm up. The beds in rooms are super comfortable as well and the staff is exceedingly friendly. At some points it was really easy to forget I was staying at paid accomodation, because it felt more like staying at a friend's cabin. The main building also has a pretty big kitchen, which you can use to full extent and save up on those food needs. There's also a sauna (3€/h/p with 4 or more people), which feels great after a long day of activities in the "wilderness". I highly recommend this hostel to anyone looking to visit Lapland, either alone or in company. I have no complaints whatsoever.

Review 25：We booked the Chalet for 3 people and everything was well equipped. We loved the reindeers passing our little house every day and our own sauna. The community room was comfy and the kitchen well equipped too. Also the hostel staff was very helpful and friendly.
