Reviews for Relais du Silence Ar Men Du

Review 1:The room was too small for two people, the shower over the bath had no screen. The dining experience was uncomfortably pretentious, overpriced and the lamb overlooked in a bag in water!

Review 2:Availability of the room at a discount.

Review 3:Bathroom requires updating - a proper shower and more bathroom work surface space needed. Wifi reception very variable depending on ones position in the building. Not all TV channels consistently available. Outdoor facilities could be better.

Review 4:Welcoming very friendly staff. Well deserved Michelin star, possibly should be more than one. However menus are set so that for a stay of more than 3 nights an a la carte choice may be necessary. Lovely large bedroom with fantastic views and a very comfortable large bed.

Review 5:Nothing

Review 6:We will be back we promise

Review 7:Size of room which was too small, as was the bathroom and we thoughtthat the room was €40 too much.

Review 8:Location, welcome, staff, dinner and breakfast.

Review 9:The room was a little small, although adequate.

Review 10:Perfect location and gorgeous view. Nice furnishings and efficient staff. We didn't eat at the hotel.

Review 11:The greeting on arrival was curt and the staff appeared flustered. Wewere told by the proprietor to wait as he needed to serve wine ( fawltytowers springs to mind!) We were expecting a duplex room as shown onbooking.com website but the room allocated was small and narrow with atiny bathroom and sloping ceiling and sharp corners at the windows, which my husband cut his head on. The room was located above therestaurant and was noisy! When we commented that this was not the roomwe expected and we were disappointed we were told by the owner thatbooking.com described some of the rooms as duplex when they are not - wehave not previously found booking.com gives misleading descriptions. Noalternative available and we were tempted to go elsewhere but onenight's accommodation charge had already been debited by the hotel. Thehigh point of our stay was the dinner, the low point was definitely theaccommodation, in hindsight we would recommend eating at Ar Men Du andstaying elsewhere!

Review 12:Dinner in the restaurant was excellent and good value for money apartfrom drinks being on the pricey side. Service in the restaurant wasexcellent. The view is good if you ignore the campervan car park infront of the hotel!

Review 13:We enjoyed everything about ArMenDu. The food is excellent and it is served by a knowledgable staff.

Review 14:Smallish rooms, but adequate and with super views of the Brittany coastline

Review 15:Location and excellent food

Review 16:Fantastic views over the sea. Brilliant restaurant. Friendly & helpful staff.
