Reviews for Hôtel Patio Brancion
Review 1:I wish there were heavier drapes on the window, considering I was on the first floor and many people were passing by outside.... In addition to the soap, it would be nice to have a shampoo.... More hangers in the closet would make it better too.
Review 2:What I liked is the friendly and helpful staff, and it was always available.
Review 3:It was a bit noisy for me but, I live in rural France, if you live in a town it probably wouldn't be for you.
Review 4:We were staying for one night at the hotel, going to a concert at the Palais des Sports. It's just a couple of minutes walk to the Metro. The hotel rooms are clean, comfortable with excellent bathrooms.
Review 5:No plugs for the bath or sink ? Room a little bit on the worn out side. This place could well do with a lick of paint. Also a little too cramped for two friends.
Review 6:Location Very near to the station at Malokoff Plateau du Vanves. Staff really friendly and helpful. spoke good English and seemed to be there around the clock. Quiet area.
Review 7:Everything. Excellent location as it was beside a metro station leading to city center with many restraunts surrounding it. Market in the near vicinity to keep consistent supply of fruits and other necessary products. Very nice and helpful staff. Excellent cleanliness. Excellent breakfast to ensure a good start to the day. A great stay in paris.
Review 8:close to the metro station, close to the shop and restaurants clean room and bathroom, everyday fresh sheets and towels, nice looking room but small, good wifi conection, it's great, if you don't plan to spent lot of time in your hotel room
Review 9:they definitely need a craftsman to fix some things as the tap or the curtain.
Review 10:The location right next to the metro station is Great. as well as malakoff itself.
Review 11:Very near the Metro station. Staff were very friendly and helpful despite the language barrier, and went out of their way to help. Very convenient location next to the metro, but in a really nice, quiet suburb of Paris. Clean room and flatscreen TV which worked perfectly. Ideal choice for an extremely reasonable price!
Review 12:No elevator :(
Review 13:Very nice and cosy. Friendly staff, and very close to a metro station, which is extremely handy for getting around Paris. Rooms were nice, average size. Bathrooms were really nice as well. Wifi on each floor, so good reception on all floors!!
Review 14:The bath room roof was liking and it was too much annoying. There were not much choices in breakfast.
Review 15:Location was fine. As it is very near to the metro station.
Review 16:The restroom was poorly designed. There needs to be shower curtains or something to keep the water in or else the shower head will spray the water outside. I would have to take the shower head and put it on the floor of the bath until I need to rinse and place it back at top.
Review 17:Room in need of updating and redecoration (scruffy, holes in the walls, paint on the carpet etc). Only cold water in the morning (although with overnight temperatures of 20+ and no air conditioning, perhaps that was a positive!)
Review 18:Comfortable bed, good breakfast and free wifi
Review 19:This hotel is in a quiet suburban area of Paris very close to a Metro station. It's a great alternative to more expensive hotels closer in to the city.
Review 20:Just a heads up, no air and no elevator, if these are essential to you think again. Breakfast buffet was good but European style, those wanting an American style may feel slighted.
Review 21:In a beautiful quiet neighborhood near the metro stop. Staff very helpful and friendly. Room clean, common areas charming.
Review 22:Even for one person those rooms very small
Review 23:Malakoff is quiter than Paris itself yet within very easy reach of the city via Metro which is three mins walk from hotel.
Review 24:I loved how the hotel was placed close to a metro station, it was really convenient since I was travelling around paris by metro. Staffs were quite friendly and looked on to my luggage even after checkout, which helped me a lot since I didn't have to carry it around (for 7 hours, which I had left after checkout before my train).
Review 25:the door lock (card key) was kind of broken so almost everyday I needed to go down to the lobby to ask help for opening the door.
Review 26:very close from the metro station. clean and comfortable room.
Review 27:Room with smell of mould. Shower is bad, you have to hold in your hand to be able to use it, for one night it is ok but if i had to be there for a few days, it would make showering a bit of a nuissance. The way the shower space is done. The water leaks easily into the bathroom transforming it into a lake. Even if you are careful when taking a shower.
Review 28:Location very close to tube station Night staff that resolved my request for extra pillows
Review 29:Friendly staff. easy access to central Paris via the nearby Metro. Malakoff is a great place to return to after a day's sightseeing. Good cheap restaurants nearby (including some friendly Indian ones). Highly recommended.
Review 30:The shower head was the dumbest design I've ever seen - in its wall bracket it sprays everywhere but in the tub - you must hand-hold the head to direct it onto yourself. Makes it difficult to shower...Due to it's "designer" styling - A cheap simple thing to fix... only other problem was a missing lightbulb. Bring some duct-tape to rig the shower and you'll be happy.
Review 31:It was clean, WiFi worked, very close to the Metro station (less than 100 yards) which gets you anywhere in Paris in under 30 minutes - a nearby plaza with a good bakery, grocery store and cafes. Helpful staff,
Review 32:The breakfast was over priced for what it was - but then it seems to be what we have been offered elsewhere in France, so maybe that is just an english reaction. No kettle in the room so no chance to make own hot drink in morning or evening. Found the stairs a challenge at the beginning of our stay but after a few days we were obviously getting fitter and bounding up to the second/third floor with ease.
Review 33:It is only 2 minute walk to the Malakoff Plateau du Vannes Metro which we used regularly throughout our stay. There are good local restaurants too and local facilties eg post office, laundrette, supermarket 5 minutes away. The on street parking was free in August right outside the hotel. A lovely shady garden area to sit in and relax in the afternoon/evening. Perfect for quick access to all the Paris attractions you could hope to see and a comfortable sleep so you are refreshed ready to start again the next day.
Review 34:The bath was so small that you can not even bent and the water comes directly to the room when you take a shower. It doesn't have lift and definitely not a goo option for elderly.
Review 35:Clean bed and acceptable wifi, old design that I like with beautiful green small yard. Perfect for easy access to metro station which was located at the end of street just 3 minute walking.
Review 36:The facilities were terrible. The hot water took forever to heat up. My bathroom sink filled with leaves every time I opened the tap and the shower head was spraying all over the place.
Review 37:It was close to the metro.
Review 38:Some rubbish in the room behind the desk (sheets and towels were clean though). Tight squeeze in room.
Review 39:Very close to metro. Lovely courtyard out back. Friendly staff.
Review 40:The toilet is cramped and in the rooms in the corner has a bad ventilation system. The shower pours water horizontally! No elevator. The walls are not sound proof.
Review 41:The location is great, if you travel by car it is a very good option. Public parking is available at 12 euro per 24 hours. The walking distance to Metro is just one minute and you can reach every tourist place in 30 minutes. As a two-star hotel it is a good value for money.
Review 42:For 55 euros, it was exceptional value for a family of 3. I was with my wife and 1 year old daughter and stayed for a night. I had booked for a night being a little skeptical. Next time, I will probably book my entire stay in Patio Brancion. Rooms were clean and quiet. Our room also had french windows overlooking the garden. WIFI was free, unlike some hotel chains that charge ridiculous amounts. I would recommend Patio Brancion looking for a decent stay but on a budget.
Review 43:Friendly staff, reasonable price. What they promise is what you get and what you pay for.
Review 44:Only cold water covered window
Review 45:The bathroom is too small
Review 46:It was a double room with 3 beds. So the room was very full.
Review 47:Very friendly stuff. Location very near to Metro.
Review 48:Items were broken in the room. At the price we didn't mind because it was clean. No safe.
Review 49:Price was great.
Review 50:dirty bathroom
Review 51:very close to metro cosy bed
Review 52:NICE HOTEL, CLOSE TO METRO STATION, BREAKFAST IS GOOD
Review 53:The Wifi is really really sucks here ........
Review 54:The location is great !
Review 55:Excelent quiet location.
Review 56:Great location with perfect services
Review 57:Very nice service. Everybody spoke english, it was pleasure to stay
Review 58:Hot room but no hot water in the morning
Review 59:Location and breakfast
Review 60:The noise of the water etc from the bathroom above
Review 61:Metro was only a short distance away
Review 62:WIFI is not 100% up all the time
Review 63:Great location, quiet and comfortable
Review 64:Dirty and dirty and lot of muld
Review 65:Nothing
Review 66:you can hear the other are talking when you are in your room!!!!!
Review 67:Needs updating, bathroom had a few problems with it
Review 68:Wifi really good, 2 min walk from meteo
Review 69:Bed felt like a padded cardboard box, but as I said, you get what you pay for $70 a night
Review 70:Small, clean, inexpensive, free wifi, running water
Review 71:Tiny bathroom, 3 floors no lift
Review 72:2 mins from underground stop.parking available.good dinner options few mins walk away. Safe sourronding
Review 73:small room, noisy
Review 74:To be paid, the breakfast could be better, lack of elevator up to the 3rd floor.
Review 75:Caring staff, located near the metro station
Review 76:Smell
Review 77:Price, Location, Staff
Review 78:people are so helpful & friendly
Review 79:No elevator
Review 80:Great value for money Good Wifi connection (2nd floor) Friendly staff
Review 81:rooms were small
Review 82:If your driving then this hotel is for you. Location was on the outskirts of Paris and could take the metro in.
Review 83:Being english I missed not having a kettle in the room to make tea!
Review 84:Good value clean hotel. No frills but I thought it was delightful. Staff were lovely.
Review 85:Professional and helpful staff on reception. A comfortable, quiet and clean room. Location near the station convenient with frequent trains into Paris.
Review 86:No lift
Review 87:Parking is available but costs 12 euros per day/6 euros per 1/2 day, in a public parking lot. We would recommend not having a car as public transportation is available
Review 88:Breakfast below average. Awkward shower design, if left on wall mount itsprays water all over the floor. Closet door stuck and broken mirror.
Review 89:Good location and parking close to metro station. Very clean, largebathroom. Comfortable beds. Nice view out of the window to Eiffel tower.
Review 90:The staff had a very strange sense of humor, almost joking whenever Iasked information, the bar is expensive, the wifi is damn slow, even atthe reception you can not have a conversation at night, ...from earlymorning a lot off noice from the cleaning staff, the room is very oldand small, you hear the neighbour rooms having sex, etc ....
Review 91:It is close to a train station but quite a long way out from the more touristy areas. Location was shown incorrectly on the booking.com map. Check google maps
Review 92:The place looks like it was taken over and renovated very quickly. Although there were new beds etc... The paint was poorly applied etc...
Review 93:The service was excellent. Well done to the staff for being so friendly.
Review 94:There was construction noise going just under the hotel and I had to leave the hotel every day very early as they start with noise, the stuff should have to inform us about the construction noise going outside or the hotel should have to mention it on the Internet or something or they should close and not receive clients till the constructions finish outiside.
Review 95:Very cosy hotel, the stuff is welcome and helpful, very clean, very close to the metro station etc...
Review 96:Room was okay but shower was not good. Overall decent for a short stay and if you are spending most of your time in the city.
Review 97:Staff was friendly and accommodating. In a really nice location with easy access to the metro. There is a delicious bakery in the neighborhood!
Review 98:No elevator. Had a room in the 4th floor without an elevator. This was ok on regular days but hell during arrival and departure when dragging huge luggage.
Review 99:Very close to the Metro. The place is a block away from the Metro. Once in the Metro, the entire Paris is within 15 minutes away. Note that the hotel is not in Paris proper but it's just the next stop after Paris and literally 1 block outside the boundary line. Rooms were also nice and clean. I especially liked the huge bathroom. Staff were very nice and helpful.
Review 100:The toilets were too small, even for me. I'm 175cm and average sized so a bigger sized person may find it difficult to use the toilet. And there were no lifts and difficult to move my luggage, so there may be some trouble for people with big luggages. Room was not very sound-proof either but the place is generally quiet.
Review 101:Clean, comfortable and good for my 1 night stay to wait for my train at Montparnasse. The hotel is located a few minutes from the metro on Line 13 which made it really easy to get to Montparnasse. The WIFI is good from my room.
Review 102:Very quiet place for reasonable price, 15 minutes to downtown of Paris by subway. But they should definitely pay more attention to cleaning rooms. In a small bathroom was mold on window, and weird smell. If you are staying there just for sleeping, and focus to sightseeing of Paris, place is OK.
Review 103:The breakfast is expensive and not included in the price. The rooms are small (but still ok), but the bathroom cabin was extra small in my room.
Review 104:The location of the hotel is great, nice, silent and beautiful neighborhood, very close to a metro station on line 13 (champs elysees, montparnasse, invalides, varenne etc..). The rooms and halls are very clean. The staff were very helpful and friendly.
Review 105:Bathroom; very small, when use the shower need to be careful otherwise you flood all the room :(
Review 106:Good location; close to metro station, it's very convenient to get city center.
Review 107:quite small rooms,a bit noisy from the wooden floor when others walk the stairs, some bathroom equipment missing or needed repair (ie toilet seat scratced)
Review 108:The staff was polite, every day cleaning, very good price (50e in August doublebed),metro station very close, quite area, very comfortable beds, nice tree view from the back rooms
Review 109:Everything was great! The room and the bathroom were very nice. They were cleaned up every day, the bathroom was quite big and we had a bath. From our room we could see the top of the Tour Eiffel!! The staff was very polite. Also the position is very good: the hotel is close to a metro station and in 10/15 min you can be in the center of Paris. I was very happy with this hotel!!
Review 110:Tea making facilities were non existent. Too far out of Paris. Bed wasvery hard. Shower splashed water everywhere.
Review 111:The manager was a great help. Introduced me to a quaint FrenchRestaurant and helped me get back into Paris on the Metro. The area isvery quiet.
Review 112:We couldn't acces the wi-fi from the rooms, the signal was very weak, often went off.
Review 113:It was very close to the metro station and in the meantime it was in a quiet friendly street and neighborhood. Staff was quite friendly, breakfast was good and we enjoyed our time there. As we were visiting Paris as tourists for 3 days, we needed a quite, friendly place to rest in the nights with good breakfast served, but also close to the city - and we got what we searched for. We were very pleased.
Review 114:We were in Paris to watch the Tour de France finish. This hotel wasright next to the tube station, not far from central Paris, parking onthe road opposite, in a very quiet area with good restaurants nearby, agood sized and clean room.
Review 115:Great hotel, it takes two minutes to get to metro station.Neighbourhood is good and friendly. About 10 minutes to reach Eiffel tower. We had a great time!
Review 116:* No lift - it is little bit difficult with a big suitcase because the corridor is narrow* after showering, the bathroom is swimming away ... (water on the floor) * no fridge
Review 117:* Super-plus: next to the metro* Citycenter of Malakoff is 5 min of walking with bakery, shop, bars and restaurants (nice place there) * Hotel is very nice * You sleep very well there. * Staff is very kindly. * for France - very very clean
Review 118:Noise come into the room from the corridors. There was no refigerator in our room.
Review 119:Good price, lovely and silent place. 2 min walk to the metro station. 15-20 mins to champs-elysees by subways. Flexible staff.
Review 120:No fridge in the room. no lift in the hotel. No air conditioning.
Review 121:It was clean and the location was great. It was a 2 min walk to the metro station. It was 20 min to city center by metro.
Review 122:Altough the surroundings are very rustic inside it is noisy, two personshaving a conversation outside my room in the hallway and it sounded ifthey were in the room, you can hear everything!
Review 123:Silent location on a calm street, almost no traffic outside. Very close(50 meters) to subway is convinient.
Review 124:Was quite a bit outside central Paris. Only 20 minutes or so but thatadds up if you're doing this a lot during stay. Bathroom doordidn't shut and kept opening.
Review 125:Best hotel I could have got for price because prices were high due toFrench Open. Good distance in getting to Roland Garros, only 11 EUROs intaxi. Nice room, clean, modern lcd tv, big bathroom. Helpful enoughstaff that spoke English. McDonald's and Metro round the corner.
Review 126:Not close enough to walk to any tourist destinations, but this was outweighed by the price and facilities.
Review 127:Very close to to the metro, quiet, clean, helpful staff.
