Review 1：I thought the room was a tad tatty. Drain smell in bathroom. No tea or coffee making facilities in the room. Over priced for what it was offering.

Review 7：We arrived at 2.00 pm, but were told that the room was not available until 4.00 pm. The room WAS ready, and we got the key after a little "talk". The lift was out of order, and even after repair we were trapped in it, and nobody noticed the alarm bell. The room was "superior", but not to that standard. The beds were laid with extra sheet with plastic coating, which is very uncomfortable.

Review 9：This was the worst Hotel that I have stayed in for many years. The rooms smelt of cigarette smoking all the time; rooms weren't clean; no hot water in the morning; walls were "paper-thin" and you could here everything of your neighbours; deck off the bedroom was very unstable; needs a total renovation; the Hotel Manager was very inflexible and lacked customer service. Overall it is a completely average place.

Review 13：The bathroom was tatty with bits of trim missing. There was no dinnermenu to study before deciding if we wanted to eat in or out, so we choseout. The car parking was a mess - if the places were marked out, lotsmore cars could have got in. Because people parked randomly, there wasnot enough room. Not enough staff on at breakfast - long waits for food& drinks to be replaced, and no thermoses were marked so no-one knewwhat was in them, even the staff.

Review 14：That the cleaning staff were cleaning rooms most of the day and that they need to invest in new vacuum cleaners and a hallway carpet. The room was too hot and stuffy and the standard of deco/fittings didn't justify a 3 star rating.

Hot room. Tired rooms. Was asked to move motorbike out of the parking area at the front of the hotel.

Review 26：The breakfast. Sorry but the sausages and scrambled egges wereundercooked. The scrambled egg was just so runny and watery ! Thebread was very doughy and chewly, not at all like the usual wonderfulFrench bread.

Review 28：The barking dogs (left outside) at a house located directly behind the hotel....the noise was quite bothersome, especially in the middle off the night.

Review 29：This is an excellent location wihin short driving distances to enjoy hikes around the Puy de Sancy, La Banne D'Ordanche, Lac Chambon, and other nature sites of The Mont Dore region.....the Thermal Spa in Le Mont Dore is a wonderful haven of spa luxury, as well as the Thermal Spa in La Bourboule...a short drive away. Hotel staff, especially Delphine, were so courteous and helpful. Stayed in room 336, with a view to take one's breath away!

Review 30：The architecture and layout of the room was poorly designed. Thereshould be a window not wall for the room on the corner. Thebathroom door was not well located thus gave small space in thebathroom. The towel hanger behind the bathroom door should beremoved to give more space.

Review 32：The fact that the hill up to the hotel wasn't cleared of snow so we were unable to get our car up for unloading and parking which resulted in us getting a parking ticket. The tea wasn't replenished every day even when the TWO tea bags had been used. The shower cubical was VERY small and the hot water ( which came out of the COLD tap ) was limited.

Review 34：Grubby carpets in corridors, impractical light grey. Lack of ventilation in bathroom and room - no small opening window. Poky bathroom with no shelf for toiletries. Rubber undersheet making bed damp at night. Very steep access road, needs steps for approaching on foot.
