Reviews for Mercure Paris Malakoff Parc des Expositions

Review 1:Far away from CDG Airport(about 36 kilometers).I paid 77 Euros for the Taxi.

Review 2:Staff are friendly and supportive.Rooms were cleaned.Chatillon-Montrouge(One end of Metro line 13) can be reached in 8 minutes walk and main attractions in 30 minutes.

Review 3:Wifi was awful, so sloowwwww, you can not even open google, or see the results, gmail will even will think for 30 seconds to display your new emails, I have stayed there for 8 days, and it was slow every day.

Review 4:One of the concierge who is present early in the morning was not v helpful and was a bit rude. My laundry hadnt arrived and it was my departure date and he wasnt v willing to handle the matter

Review 5:Helpful staff generally

Review 6:Rooms are a bit small, not quite as roomy or fancy as Best Westerns in the US but still a great find.

Review 7:convenient location, really great price for a weekend visit in summer (probably a lot more expensive when there are more business travellers) - easy to get to the metro, private parking for 10$ (rare find in Paris), air conditioning (also rare to find)

Review 8:Room service came inside my room at morning although I did not hang the "make my room" card on the door. I didn't like it. He just opened the door with the key he has without knocking. When he saw me, my husband sleeping; he left immediately..another thing that the room was bit smaller for us because we were travelling with stroller. There was not enough space to keep the stroller.

Review 9:Many food shops around. One Indian restaurant, pizza and pasta shop, Turkish doner kebab and one supermarket just along. Metro is 10 minutes by walk. We stayed (me, my husband and my 2 months old son) for one night and paid only 45€ for an air conditioning double room Room was very clean. Comfortable bed. Toilet was clean and dry. The loby and common area was also clean but dark. Staffs are helpful and friendly. Free WiFi

Review 10:Asked to delay our breakfast due to large Japanese Party having priority. This delayed our arrangements. Bread and other items left out so was stale. Poor response from one staff member when complained about . Corrected by front desk

Review 11:Hotel is good and well priced for Paris.Location OK once used to area. Staff friendly and helpful

Review 12:Room had some unrepaired damage.

Review 13:Hotel is located withing walking distance of the south terminus of metro 13. I had to stay the night in Paris because of a delayed train, booked though booking.com, and called the hotel to confirm my booking. Reception was helpfull and had good command of english.

Review 14:Breakfast for 12 euro not very good if you went to breakfast round 9 there was hardly any food left &not replaced when it ran out wifi slow

Review 15:Some of the staff were very good nice Morrocan resturant 100m away

Review 16:Room was not clean by the time of arrival. It was cleaned after the arrival. Bit far away (1km) from metro station.

Review 17:Cheap and worth for money. Nothing wrong at all apart from the distance from the metro station.

Review 18:Wifi is not great - allows you to check your mails etc. but dont expect to do any streaming. Location suits me - being near the office - but I'd find it too out of the way if it was a social visit to see Paris.

Review 19:Relatively quiet area. Rooms were a good size for the area - I've stay in half the hotels in Montrouge. Its got lifts - Might seem obvious but in Paris (Montrouge) not all have had one. Easy check in and check out.

Review 20:On the 4 days we stayed there we did not have a key of the room , if we wanted to enter the room ,the person from the reception had to come with us untill the 5 th floor and open the door !! The air condition did not work , we had 18°C in the room ! There was a strange smell in the room ! The hotel was far from the metro station !

Review 21:Cleaning and change of towels done every .

Review 22:Only French Television, no minibar and Wlan is not accessable.

Review 23:Good Breakfast.

Review 24:No free breakfast, a little far from city but manageable because metro Stop not too far away

Review 25:Nice and safe and small comfortable room

Review 26:Good location, coffee and tea facility, room was properly heated. I didnt take breakfast, so I cannot rate it.

Review 27:Perfect stay, considerate staff.

Review 28:One of my best choices in hotels! Clean, quiet, big room, for Paris! 5 minutes by car to Porte de Versailles where I work Excellent

Review 29:Clean, pretty and comfortable rooms. Perfect for business stay

Review 30:Breakfast

Review 31:Location near my destination

Review 32:Staff were very bad temper and didn't have even a smile.

Review 33:Location and facilities

Review 34:Location for our trip.

Review 35:Well priced and clean

Review 36:Very noisy

Review 37:Good location, kind staff, very clean and comfortable

Review 38:nothing

Review 39:rude staff on arrival, it’s the second time this happens. Room very basic, dirty and old in need of renovation.

Review 40:Friendly staff

Review 41:Foods.

Review 42:Everything is small, entrance, waiting room, lift, bedroom (too small!!! compare to other bestwestern hotel rooms) otherwise, the rooms are VERY noisy.... not fair for sleeping well I will no more book this hotel !

Review 43:Personal on desk must be more formated to provide all information onarrival (wifi and airline partner cooperation)

Review 44:Clean, compfortable, coffe and tea in room, not noisy, no tourists. Justnext to food stor and 5 mins drive by car to Tour Monpartnass. Goodsolution if you tervel by car.

Review 45:Safe in room was out of order, but we didn't need it anyway.

Review 46:Clean, quiet rooms, good breakfast. Metro is near. A good value for your many if you want to visit Paris.

Review 47:A bit far from city centre, but as metro is so close didn't have any problems!

Review 48:Great hotel, near to metro!! Good value for money :) would recommend it to my friends :)

Review 49:Nothing.

Review 50:The room heater works well, location makes hotel accessible by bus and train. Friendly and helpful staff especially Christene, she speaks good English and very helpful.

Review 51:the bed pillows were dirty and general impression is that room was not really clean. Staff has vary limited English vocabulary and show no wish to communicate.

Review 52:Although I do not expect any special treatment and conditions while travelling, this hotel was far below my expectations.

Review 53:Needs to be updated, very own fashioned. Room very small, very expensiveif wasn't booked through booking.com

Review 54:The staff were friendly, good internet access.

Review 55:It is a nice hotel with access to bus right in front of the hotel and 10min. Walk to next metro station - easy to access Paris in a short while. The price was still low while all other hotels were fully booked. Ourlittle pet dog even is free of charge and very much welcome. Thanks!

Review 56:They gave us a room with one bed instead of two, as reserved. After complaining they gave a small room with three beds next to each other, two normal ones and a shorter, smaller one. To go to the bathroom you had to climb over the small bed, and at my age that's not easy. Between the foot end of the beds and the wall was about 40 cm. there was no fresh air, no window, only a locked door to a small balcony, on the sixth floor. They finally gave a the room we reserved. The rest was ok, but it didn't give a nice feeling. We never had any problems with hotels, booked through you, before. I find it difficult to give numbers.

Review 57:position is great if you look for value for money hotel, bus station just infront of the hotel and very easy to get to centre. Also i liked the parking garage insight of the hotel.

Review 58:the space between the bed and the wall is too narrow, my wife hurt her food when went across. The small parking place is a little expensive as 12 euro per night(not per day). You can easily find some free parking place in the near road

Review 59:beautiful decoration in the canteen and the garden, 24h receiption

Review 60:The space between the end of the bed and the wall was way too small. Itwas impossible to walk through that space. You had to side-step to getto the other part of the room. This made getting the suitcases to theother side was extremely difficult. Eventually we started walking acrossthe bed, which is not good for the bed!

Review 61:The garden was lovely. The whole atmosphere was quiet and welcoming. The"small" breakfast was just right for us. But it is quite dark in thebreakfast area. It was nice to have free use of a computor. We enjoyedour stay even though it was a longer Metro ride than we expected to getto the sights of Paris.

Review 62:Night staff wasn't very welcoming or friendly. One night I came back to the hotel at around 10 pm, and said "Hi" to the guy at reception for the night duty. He didn't reply back, and kept staring at my girlfriend. This is not how I expect the reception staff to behave. However, the guy at the the reception during the day was quite helpful and professional.

Review 63:Quite and peaceful. A couple of restaurants and shops nearby. Only ten minutes walk from the Metro station. They also have a nice little area at the back for breakfast, and also a garden. Free use of air conditioning. We put "do not disturb" sign at the door at night, and were not disturbed by the cleaners, and had a good comfortable sleep till late in the morning.

Review 64:the neighbourhood isn't nice, so go here if you need to be in the area (like I did) but for visiting the city, it's not a nice area.

Review 65:Hotel has friendly staff, a nice breakfast room with, especially for French standards, excellent breakfast with a wide choice incl fresh fruits. The rooms are small and the bathroom somewhat outdated (but working well), but the bedroom itself had been updated recently and had an excellent quality bed, after all the most important thing for a good night sleep. I was at the back of the hotel, very quiet, but my collegue at the front side woke up early due to busy traffic in the front street.

Review 66:The receptionists seemed very tired and working on autopilot. First room we got keys for was unmade and we had to climb over all kinds of work materials as there was work going on in the hotel. The carpet in the bedroom was filthy round the edges. The room itself was uncomfortably hot on arrival (in May) and took ages for the temp to drop. Directions to the hotel were not the best - need to include details of how to get there on Metro. No-one locally knew where it was! No taxis in the town!

Review 67:The bathroom was clean and the towels although small were clean also. Loads of magazines (in French) to read.

Review 68:Location, which is 15 minute walk to Metro

Review 82:No Taxi could be ordered in the morning

Review 83:Tea cooker facility in room

Review 84:Not enough pillow and no microwave and basic cutlery and fridge

Review 85:Shopping for food convenient

Review 86:not clean noise at night not cosy kitchen in the room design old and kitch
