Reviews for Hôtel Font Mourier

Review 1:The drive to town... Not a huge deal... Nice to be away from the hustle and bustle but wish it was walking distance to town

Review 2:Great ambiance! Amazing energy! Very relaxing! Amazing food!!

Review 3:No water or tea/coffee making facilities in the room which is a little strange!

Review 4:Beautiful hotel with great pool area. Staff are very helpful and attentive.

Review 5:you need a car from the hotel to st tropez. it is a drive from the hotel to the happenings but at the same time it is also an advantage because it gives you more peAce and privacy. if you want a quiet holiday (who doesnt want that anyway) then its perfect for you. the serenity of the hotel will give you the tranquility that you need.

Review 6:i loooooove the hotel. i am from the Philippines and i travelled to Europe for almost 2 months and in my whole vacation i enjoyed this hotel the most. upon my arrival i was greeted with a very friendly reception staff who spoke english very well. they helped us with our baggage because there were no elevators going to the room but you dont really need the elevators anyway. the front desk arranged our reservations, land transfers and even allowed for a late check out. the room was absolutely perfect. wifi never gave me problems. restaurant was superb. pool is gorgeous. my room had a balcony with an amazing nature view. absolutely loved it. my st tropez experience was perfect!!!

Review 7:Bathroom a bit small but ok.

Review 8:Very smoothly run and a focus on cool and calm, the most relaxing hotel I think I have stayed in. Had lunch and food was very good with a great selection of drinks. Pool area really spot on with nice shabby chic feel.

Review 9:Room stylishly furnished but could have been more comfortable e.g cushions on sofa and terrace

Review 10:Excellent service Professional dedicated staff Stylish pool area Comfortable outdoor seating Stylish table settings and china, especially for the evening meal Buffet breakfast Alternative low cost breakfast Excellent evening meal

Review 11:Although the hotel came up in the search results when the 'family' box was ticked, I wouldn't recommend this for families with young children. The pool area for example is very quiet / tranquil and not a place where children can be children.

Review 12:Reception staff extremely polite and helpful.

Review 13:The suite (the only one) was modern and very comfortable with a very large veranda with whirlpool, long chairs in a private setting. the breakfast was extensive and well presented.

Review 14:Location was a little remote, up a winding road which meandered through a few housing complexes. Tub/shower was difficult to get in and out of...not for an elderly person.

Review 15:Quiet location, not too distant from St Tropez. Nice balcony to sit on.

Review 16:This hotel is never a 4* When booking read the small print verycarefully, you pay 30% upfront and unless you cancel within 21 days youpay the balance. We stayed here for 4 nights at the beginning of August,at 235 euros a night for room only this was way over priced for thefacilities. Breakfast was a further 24 euros pp so we decided to justhave coffee and croissant at 8 euros. We were not allowed to sit at thetables and had to perch at the bar even thought there was plenty ofspace. We were then served 3 very small croissants (I suspect they wereleft overs from other residents) which were very dry, no plate, butteror jam. All the staff with the exception of the young lady mentionedwere unfriendly, quite rude and behaved like they were doing you a hugefavour. Our room on the ground floor was suitable for disabled use, onfirst entering it appeared acceptable, but on closer inspection thefinish was very poor and amateurish. The bathroom had a wet room typeshower which soaked most of the floor, nowhere to hang towels, the plugwas broken and detached, on a couple of occasions we had to go toreception to request toilet rolls and shampoo/shower gelreplenishment. The room sometimes didn't get made up until nearly5pm! The location was remote with no bars or restaurants within walkingdistance, even though it states it is 2km from Port Grimaud. I woulddefinitely not recommend this hotel.

Review 17:The pool and bar area but not the plastic grass, which in the heatsmelled of melting plastic! The young lady who showed us to our room andchecked us out.

Review 18:- on windy nights one should expect discomfort due to noise coming from the big windows (the offer a nice view though)

Review 19:- location: on a hill close to St-Tropez, private area with gated entrance - nice view from some rooms - cool pool area and garden - big parking at the entrance

Review 20:Wouldn't agree that this is a place to take children. The hotel felt more suited to adults or couples travelling without children. Very conscious that the pool area had a 'quiet policy' which was difficult to maintain with 2 small children. This meant that we left the hotel during the day and went to the beach instead when we would of liked to let the children 'be children' in the pool at the hotel.

Review 21:Lovely hotel, very relaxing and room was of a very good standard.

Review 22:The hotel is expensive for what it it is. The rooms are a bit tired.

Review 23:The staff were friendly. The pool area was excellent. WIFI that works and plenty of parking.

Review 24:Very comfortable beds. Very nice pool and bar area

Review 25:It's location & facilities are fantastic

Review 26:All was perfect very clean and relaxing

Review 27:Quite expensive, breakfast is buffet style and is 25 euro per head, a little excessive in my opinion

Review 28:Very quiet and peaceful.

Review 29:bathroom, shower

Review 30:breakfast, hospitality

Review 31:Good ,Helpful Staff .Good Location .Good Food .

Review 32:Buffet Breakfast at 25 euros expensive with no cheaper option

Review 33:Lovely room with outdoor area and gorgeous pool setting

Review 34:The cost for breakfast !

Review 35:We loved the pool area, soooo peaceful

Review 36:Very good hotel and personal's...)!!!

Review 37:The speed bumps up to the actual parking area, low cars will catch

Review 38:Pool and relaxation area & restaurant

Review 39:The pool area and surrounds are beautiful. We had a ground level room which opened onto a sun terrace where we used all the time.

Review 40:Very relaxing hotel with a very nice quiet swimming pool. Perfect to enjoy and relax with your partner. Room was very clean and quiet.

Review 41:Too expensive additional services: 20 euro per night for the kid of 2 years old who slept with us in our bed, most expensive breakfast in my life ever! (Did not try, maybe they serve caviar? :)) and please keep an eye on a pink card which can be changed to a pool blanket - it will cost you 40 euro :)

Review 42:Perfect view, as located on the hill. Cosy nice rooms actually each in a separate small house.

Review 43:bathroom badly needs renovation, bath robes should be changed more often

Review 44:Great breakfast, nice and professional staff with good English. Balcony with a view. Location: 15 min drive to st tropez

Review 45:I don't usually write reviews but thought I would after this stay. The hotel is over priced for what it is. Be careful of the day beds, our one collapsed while my husband was holding our baby, dangerous.

Review 46:Pool area and breakfast area was lovely. Very relaxing.

Review 47:The bathroom was very small

Review 48:Excellent setting and location. Spacious and nice pool area and restaurant. Easy access to St Tropez and Ste Maxime. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Review 49:Bathroom too small, inadequate shower, room needed refurbishment.

Review 50:The pool and public areas. The outdoor space and restaurant. The tennis court. The location.

Review 51:Nada

Review 52:We were fortunate enough to be able to take the 1st floor suite for the night. Room was superb and the private terrace very spacious. The staff are, as ever, courteous, helpful, friendly and professional. Really rate the hotel and the suite is superb if you want to splash out!

Review 53:Our terrasse was like a wilderness, should be kept much better. The staff were not actually very eager to help and gave an impression of lack of enthusiasm. The heavy traffic between the domaine and St Tropez made it very little attractiv to do that trip.

Review 54:Nice and relaxing pool-area and outdoor restaurant. Silent location away from traffic. Nice size of familyroom.

Review 55:Restaurant prices a little expensive but is expected in this location...

Review 56:Beautiful pool area!!

Review 57:Rooms are out-of-date and does not reflect the same quality as the pool/garden area.

Review 58:Relaxed pool area, quiet and clean.

Review 59:Comfortable rooms, charming staff easy access to beaches and st tropez

Review 60:Good Breakfast Fantastic Swimming Pool
