Reviews for Hôtel L'Hermitage

Review 1:Room was tiny and rather average, but at least traditional. The bathroom was fresh and new and was a much higher standard than you would expect. The interior of the hotel was a bit heavy on the "shabby chic" look inclusive of an "old world fireplace" directly under a large window! It probably appeals to a certain type of middle aged femaile tourist. Staff was not particularly helpful or gracious and always seemed to have a frustration or issue.

Review 2:Lovely property and lovely large house. The pool was nice and the terrace for outside breakfast was pleasant.

Review 3:The breakfast was not included and way too expensive for what has been offered. There was not even a chance to pick the bread you wanted and some was already from the day before. The staff completely forgot who we were every single day although we stayed for 6 nights. The Wifi was only working downstairs in the lobby although they seem to have 3 different options... The cleaning lady forgot to put new towels or clean our cups. And the most important thing: given how they operate and what they offer, this hotel is way too overpriced and we will not be back

Review 4:The Hotel looks nice and the location is ideal for day trips to the surrounding area. Breakfast until 11am.

Review 5:Fabulous romantic athmosphere. Lovely pool. 2km away is a big supermarket you can buy everything you need. 2 km away is also the small medieval city of Pernes les Fontaines. I´d definitely come back.

Review 6:bed for 2 was a bit narrow, breakfast could be better

Review 7:Territory and hotel buildings are beautiful. Especially at night :) Small ponds, greenhouse, stone benches, large trees.. Wish that was my house

Review 8:Bed needed new mattress, and tub shower was difficult. But they offered to change our room to a shower stall room. Declined because we had a front view room on 2nd floor.

Review 9:Loved the ambience. The property is huge and lovely. Location was good. Our room was great with tiny balcony off bathroom. Not one you would sit on, but to look out over the grounds. Little tables and chairs to sat scattered around. Lovely. Front desk help was great.

Review 10:The place calls for serious refurbishment. It is more a BB place, no sign of a hotel facilities.

Review 11:The location is nice, a little outside the town, huge garden and a nice pool.

Review 12:Breakfast very expensive. Had a look at what they were serving and decided that it was not worth the price. Thought of having a drink outside from their bar. Prices for drinks or coffee was really overpriced.

Review 13:Massive Gardens and swimming pool. The Hotel is tucked away behind beautiful hedges and large trees. Rooms were average, bathroom small but fine. Décor in sitting areas was lovely. The staff were fantastic and extremely professional and helpful.
