Review 1：Booze was expensive a bourbon double on the rocks was 21 bucks and the only bourbon they stocked was not good at all

Review 3：when I booked with Booking Com it seemed a reasonable rate but when I checked out I discovered there were some hidden charges for facilities we didn't use , 20 dlrs x person x days , and we were 8 people stayind 2 days . That incleased greatly the bill .

Review 4：I didn't like that there wasn't enough soap bars out. Hand soupwas also used to shower. I know this is a high end hotel but nomicrowave or frig available to store water. If you wanted to take thestairs which we did are outside the building.

Review 6：We stayed in a Villa, which while roomy and comfortable, was dated in both decor and furnishings. The tube TV in the living room is a dead give away. Pool was small, but nice.

Review 8：We booked this villa because it was recommended for a family with two adults and three children. When I booked the room, I confirmed that we would need an extra bed for our third child. The room only slept 4 and they absolutely denied ever indicating it could sleep 5. The staff was of no assistance. Our child had to sleep on the floor. We did not get what we paid for.

Review 9：Breakfast could have more variety, that day it was biscuits and gravy. Could have had at least scrambled eggs and potatoes. Couldn't find the bread for toast. Did have fruit and cereal and yogurt.

Review 12：Room carpet already worn out. City emptying trash containers on a Sunday at 530 am(!). Maid service forgot to do my room one day out of five, and didn't replenish bathroom items two other days.

Review 14：On arrival, the staff was not able to find my reservation, even though I had a confirmation number. It took them 10 minutes to get this resolved. When I finally got my keycard and walked to the appartment it did not work. So I had to go back to the receiption and get another card. This may happen in a cheap motel, but not in a hotel with this pricetag.

Review 22：Well sorry here... 3 items in Room 108 1) TV was not working, the picture was scrabbling, I went to the front desk and they called a maintenance man,who came and tried to fit it. Now only limited to one station HBO that was partially visible. 2) How does this work= 2 coffee cups,2 coffee pods for 3 people in the room? 3) No iron or ironing board - looks like it was removed because the entire wall mount bracket was gone?

Review 26：The rooms were large with a comfortable bed. Breakfast was great, especially the custom made omlettes. On top of that they had a happy hour, which, although we only attended once, were impressed with the snacks (hot and cold) and free drinks. Overall a great experience

Review 34：The late check in of 4pm and check out of 11am. If we would have asked I'm sure they would have been accommodating but as a rule I think 3pm and noon is more the norm.

Review 35：We checked in late and tired and we're greeted with a friendly staff. We had polite conversation with a quick check in with clear information of amenities. Breakfast omelet cooked to order was a perfect eye opener along with juices and coffee.

Review 43：The hot breakfasts, the appetizers and cocktails in the evening, the lounge with the big TVs, the pool and Jacuzzi. The cleanliness. They offered for us to switch rooms since our Wi-Fi didn't work in our room but we had already unpacked everything for our 3 night stay.

Review 49：Big aspirations with such an iconic name. In fact, The Grand Hotel is a perfectly wonderful stay if you can accept baby grand as a more accurate description. Outstanding staff. From the moment we entered until check-out, the staff made us feel welcome and special. The facilities are limited because the hotel and grounds are realistically much smaller than the name implies. However they make-up for that by offering, along with the room, free Wi-Fi, free parking, a happy hour, and full-on breakfast in the lounge area next to the pool. Our room may not have had the most up-to-date furniture, but altogether it was impressively spacious and well designed. The bathroom was particularly "grandish" with both a separate bath and enclosed shower. Wonderful linens, soaps, robes, and swimming pool towels all added up to a quiet, relaxing and worthwhile stay.

NO COMPENSATION FOR OUR ADDED EXPENSE & INCONVENIENCE DUE TO LACK OF ON SITE FOOD SERVICE! My whole family felt quite ill after eating Jack in the Box and delivery pizza all weekend. A simple advisory at check in regarding the lack of food service at the hotel would have allowed us to prepare and shop for groceries while we still had transportation.

Review 97：Front desk called our room at 7:30 am, on a Sunday morning...quizzing meabout whether or not we were actually in the room! Something aboutreservation had been cancelled on computer and she did not know if wewere in the room. Terrible followup: after four phone messages, threedays later and no manager has returned my call to discuss that and mybill. My online banking showed they charged me twice for the one nightstay. I am still unsure of that outcome.

Review 103：I was very disappointed the hot tub was not functioning. I don't haveone at home and that was one of the selling points for me to book myroom there. As soon as I checked in I went straight down to the hot tubto find out it was colder than the pool. Every other part of my stay wasfantastic, but will call ahead next time to see if the hot tub isfunctioning.

I have gone to rooster t feathers comedy club down thestreet for seven years and finally took them up on the recommendationand it was every bit as nice as they advertise.
