Reviews for Hotel Trias

Review 1:Our party liked everything about the hotel. As far as Palamos, as a tourist destination, there was not much to do on a Sunday in October, but walk the beach (which for one of us was just fine).

Review 2:The hotel was beautiful, inside and out, fabulously decorated with a nautical theme. Our balconied room had a lovely seaview and we could sit out with our friends. The staff were very professional, friendly, and a pleasure to talk to. Dinner at their restaurant was excellent. They were accommodating in all ways.

Review 3:Nothing! Super place . Can't wait to return.

Review 4:Spacious, spotless room, fabulous breakfast . On site full restaurant was amazing! Value for money unbeatable. Smartly dressed waiters and waitresses were attentive, funny and personable. The pool and bar provided a delightful opportunity to relax comfortably.

Review 5:Would have been useful to have a small refridgerator but not detrimental to our stay would reccommend highly the see view rooms

Review 6:Location, hotel comfort, design and helpful and friendliness of the staff team This hotel is exceptionally clean and beautifully presented.

Review 7:WIFI issues

Review 8:nicely decorated rooms and especially great bathrooms to freshen up after a day at the beach or at sea. Great value for money restaurant with super terrace . Perfect location to discover the nice places of the Costa Brava

Review 9:Nothing

Review 10:- Superb hotel, clean and stylish. Helpful staff. - Great location on seafront opposite beach - 3 star hotel but felt like a 5 star hotel. Superb value for money - breakfast very good, lots of choice: eggs and bacon, cereals, fruits, yoghurt, breads etc - Highly recommended

Review 11:It was almost impossible to get a place next to pool. We had to wake up extra early to get our towels next to pool on chairs that would get most of the sun.

Review 12:I liked that it was not just any touristic hotel. It was very stylish with wooden floors and lots of rustic design elements. Breakfast was very nice. Location was super too.

Review 13:The wifi was poor. Breakfast a bit poor for a 4 star hotel, in a very dark dinning room, while the sun was shining outside.

Review 14:The rooms are recently renewed, clean, comfortable with very nice views

Review 15:Breakfast experience not good. You are expected to sit at the dark end of the dining room while the staff make up the tables for lunch at the windows. No cut fresh fruit. Orange juice is out of a machine instead of freshly squeezed juice.

Review 16:Sea view from upper levels very nice. Bedroom decor is nice and very calming.

Review 17:No evening sun on the balcony

Review 18:Everything...the staff were helpful and courteous. The food in the restaurant was delicious the service very professional. The room 401 overlooked the best part of the beach and was spacious and stylish.

Review 19:Breakfast was boring, powdered scrambled eggs and no variety. For example a fried egg was not available and the bacon, although of good quality was not cooked enough and cold. As were the scrambled eggs

Review 20:Location

Review 21:We did have problems with keys and locks and had to change rooms but all dealt with superbly by Gemma

Review 22:Excellent staff in particular Gemma who was outstanding.

Review 23:I didn't like the fact that the TV channels inside the room were in spannish alone none was in English or French. This made it boring sometimes. Also there was no gym to help us stay in shape after accumulating all the calories.

Review 24:The staff were very professional and welcoming. They speak 2,3 international languages hence, staff and clients understand each other perfectly well. Room hygiene was upto standard.

Review 25:we were allocated the type of room we requested.with a great sea view, a very nice comfortable clean room.we really enjoyed the new year gala dinner and danced until 3am great evening. reception staff were friendly and helpful.cannot wait to return soon as possible

Review 26:One member of staff doesn't always treat colleagues very well. Bar shuts before you'd like.

Review 27:Excellent location with friendly staff (almost all!). The rooms are large and the beds very comfortable. Make sure you get a room at the front. In my opinion, it's the best place to stay in the best town to stay in on the Costa Brava as it's a real town, not just a tourist resort. I wanted to relax for a few days, and this was perfect. Good beach bar across the road (past hotel's own).

Review 28:Security on window shutters Dark poorly lit fire escape stairs

Review 29:Helpful staff Value for money food Great location on the beach Nice outdoor and pool area

Review 30:Fantastic value for money. Staff very helpful and friendly. Wonderful fresh food every morning for breakfast and their lunch menu is really good for the price. Would recommend it to anyone

Review 31:interior ambience, excellent restaurant, charming and helpful staff, easy to find by car, secure parking, black out facility at night in our room, dependable lift, choice of drinks at the bar

Review 32:Staff in dinning area unfriendly

Review 33:Lounge area Dinning area

Review 34:Modern and well presented hotel style. in a key beach side location near the port of Palamos. Excellent restaurant and great staff.

Review 35:Beds a bit hard

Review 36:Value for money. Excellent restaurant.

Review 37:restaurant

Review 38:could be cheaper and more sound insulated

Review 39:all, apart what is in the section "what you didn't like"

Review 40:Bed hard

Review 41:Excellent value set menu fab breakfast and location

Review 42:Tot en general

Review 43:Very friendly and helpful staff. Standard of rooms very good and very clean.

Review 44:leaving tryed to stay longer

Review 45:the whole thing everything about the hotel

Review 46:Pool was too cold.

Review 47:Staff was very friendly and very helpful.

Review 48:wifi poor in some areas

Review 49:Comfortable everywhere

Review 50:Perfect!

Review 51:Nothing.

Review 52:Friendly and informative staff. Great breakfast. Upgraded to a room with a sea view. Great location close to restaurants etc.

Review 53:Despite the 3 stars, the hotel offered much more than average. The pool area was very good as well as the restaurant.

Review 54:no room service

Review 55:most things although food not excepional

Review 56:We spend some of our honeymoon days in this hotel, and although we mentioned it in our booking the staff didn't mention it, nor did they do anything extra to make our trip more special. Of course this is an extra, not an obligation... but it would have gone a long way.

Review 57:We used to have our own place in Palamós, so knew the area and the conveniently located hotel with beach bar/restaurant in front of it. Location is át the beach, and it has it's own swimming pool. Short walk to the centre of Palamós. Clean rooms with a lot of natural light in front part of the room. Well sized private terrace, with view of Mediterranean sea. Good breakfast (value for money), however without natural/ fresh orange juice.

Review 58:Stayed in early June and pool was very cold. I wasnt familiar with the area but in retrospect I would have preferred to stay in a smaller beach town rather than Palamos.

Review 59:Wonderful service. Well kept facilities. Traditional feel. Wonderful breakfast lunch and dinner.

Review 60:The price to park in the hotel secure parking is excessive. You can park on the street for free. But if you want security you have to pay.

Review 61:Location was very good. Staff are very helpful. Rooms comfortable.

Review 62:Very affordable and nice hotel with a much higher standard than the price indicates. Very nice restaurant with fine menu´s and again very reasonable prices

Review 63:A gracious, spacious hotel built when comfort and consideration meantsomething. Little things like decent adult coathangers, secure parking, pool towels the size of pool tables - and rooms big enough to live in,not just lie down. Dining here is taken seriously too. We've beenhere before and will go again.

Review 64:We ate dinner in the hotel and we had flies in the vinegar. We called the waiter and showed her the issue and her answer was that the vinegar, allways creates flies, for us it was strange.

Review 65:We were upgraded to a room with a balcony and a partially sea view. We liked the room and the breakfest was very good. It's on the seaside and very near to the shops/restaurants street. The receprion clerks were very helpfull and helped in getting all the information we needed.

Review 66:The noise and smell from the fair at festival time but we were informed about that prior to our visit

Review 67:The size of bedroom, the wonderful shower room facilities, the food, choice of dining areas, nearness to the beach/sea and the pool area. The receptionist was very helpful and changed our room, we will definitely visit again soon

Review 68:I was upgraded to a fantastic beach view from a single room street view, the hotel was fantastic value for money and the staff very good, cannot fault at all

Review 69:The pool area was a little small and dull and we were not allowed totake our pool towel to the beach which seemed a little churlish. Somemembers of staff were not as polite and helpful as we would haveexpected from a hotel of this quality but others were very helpful.

Review 70:The location was directly overlooking the beach but port area wasutilitarian rather than pretty. Our room was a good size with plenty ofstorage/wardrobe space. The food was very good and prices werereasonable

Review 71:A bit awkward for car parking but great to get the car safely off thestreet and the staff were nice about opening and closing the garage areadoors and coaching on such a narrow street.

Review 72:Lovely room overlooking the Mediterranean. Decor very much to our taste, clean and uncluttered with old world atmosphere. Amazing lighting! Thebreakfast included is a good buy. The restaurant and patio dining werevery nice as was the glassed (in windy, cool weather) beachfront diningacross the street. There are lots of other options in the town withinwalking distance. The area is lovely and tranquil. It's a shortdrive to Figueres and the Dali Museu.

Review 73:Nada

Review 74:Check-in was very friendly and informative. Location was excellent. The hotel was spotlessly clean. Would definitely recommend this to friends and family.

Review 75:The rain ! Not the hotels fault obviously.

Review 76:Only stayed one night but it was really nice. We were upgraded to a seaview which was nice and the room was very nice with a good large bed.Lady on reception was pleasant and helpful. We didn't try the restaurant as we met friends elsewhere for dinner but it looked nice. Breakfast was very good. Best I've had in Spanish travels.

Review 77:Nothing !!!!!

Review 78:The hotel was first class would reccomend to anyone. We had a free room upgrade which was amazing .We were suprised how reasonable the meals and wine were.LOVELY !!!
