Reviews for Le Castelet

Review 1:Room 19 A tiny, tiny bath - very difficult to get into & harder to exit! No ENGLISH TV channels Two night stay - they took one night upfront as long ago as 18 February for a stay on 2/3 July. In 8 places we stayed at they were the only hotel to do this! Friday market severely restricts access/departure to/from the car park

Review 2:Central location

Review 3:We found the bath and shower was small and awkward to use. We would have liked tea and coffee facilities in the room.

Review 4:We particularly liked the location & friendly staff. We enjoyed the good breakfast and the swimming pool.

Review 5:The bedroom decoration needed freshening up. Poor sound proofing to adjacent room's bathroom.

Review 6:Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent restaurant. Good breakfast with wide choice. Relaxing lounge and garden. Close to the town but not noisy. Lovely area for walking and exploring.

Review 7:The en-suite facilities. Tiny bath and hand held shower!

Review 8:Most things

Review 9:Car parking abit difficult, but due to ski season nothing we didn't expect.

Review 10:Good location, staff very good. Very comfortable hotel. Good breakfast facilities. Will use again and will recommend to others.

Review 11:The bar is ok but not very inviting or relaxing.

Review 12:One of the better French 2star hotels. We would definitely go thereagain. Quiet setting with large garden well equipped for relaxing. Smallindoor pool. Lift. Comfortable clean bedrooms plenty of space,bath/shower room. Good breakfast in large sunny room with attentiveservice. Friendly helpful staff speak some English. Pension rate looksgood value and we ate an evening dinner on arrival which was nicelycooked and served, the menu not very adventurous but very tasty andsubstantial. Close to town centre with bars coffee shops and access tomany excellent walks.

Review 13:Only trivial, petty things - steps were a bit icy on the first evening but were cleared later). The car park is too small to accommodate all the guests' vehicles.

Review 14:Helpful and cheerful staff. Neither bedside light worked, so I pointed this out to the lady on reception. She immediately sent up a repair man who fixed it by plugging in the lamps to the wall socket - whoops. The pool's OK but a little claustraphobic; surroundings and decor are very pleasant and the room was easy to get and keep warm. Breakfast was quite grand but a little pricey at €9 each. We sampled this on the first morning, then went across the road to PifPaf where a breakfast with good fresh bread, croissants, jam, lashings of coffee and OJ is available for €5 if you talk nicely to Olga the previous night. We had a great stay.

Review 15:Great staff good clean hotel very happy thank you.

Review 17:Nothing
