Reviews for Altstadt Genusshotel Auracher Löchl
Review 1:Great location, charming historic district, very friendly personnel, delicious and diverse breakfast, exceptional restaurant across the entrance, Wi Fi in the room, we also enjoyed the riverview from the window.
Review 2:Since my room was overlooking the river inn, and on the second floor, there is a promenade that runs parallel to the hotel. It got a bit noisy with people walking past, I woke up several times throughout the night, until 4am when it finally became quiet. This isn't exactly the fault of the hotel, it's just that the location of my room, and any of the rooms facing out to the river mean that you may hear people, even with the window closed. Initially, I had the window open because it was too hot in my room and there is no knob to change the temperature.
Review 3:The staff were excellent. The little details upon check in and check out were very well received. The location of the hotel is conveniently near the train station. My room had a window overlooking the river inn, very beatiful!
Review 4:We did not have breakfast, as it was expensive, and we did not like the dinner in the hotel-restaurant. Hard to reach the hotel with GPS, as some streets are closed this winter. We had an alley-facing room. If you can afford it, choose riverside-room.
Review 5:The room was ok, but a large armchair/extrabed took much space in the bay. So the room felt smaller than it actually was. I think Kufstein could be a special place for some days holiday. Perhaps for biking along the river. We only spent one night.
Review 6:Outdated décor and facilities, however, the hotel will be fully renovated in spring 2016. Definitely going to stay there again after the renovations!
Review 7:Attention to detail, extremely friendly and helpful staff. You even get the owners e-mail address with the commitment to look after any complaints within 30 minutes. I did not need to use it, but thought this was a very special touch!
Review 8:A little bit loud at night if the windows are open, due to late night revelers
Review 9:Very god Hotel,Very friendly Staff,Super Location,Extremly good value for money
Review 10:Interior and furnishing are a bit shabby; there is no air-conditioning, not even a fan. The weather was very hot and that made the room extremely uncomfortable even at night with the windows wide open.
Review 11:The hotel is in an old building at the heart of the old centre. Room was spacious and clean. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Breakfast buffet was fantastic - great choice, delicious with great coffee.
Review 12:We could find no fault.
Review 13:The charm of the staff. The charm of the building and the old town. The effort that the staff went to to make our brief visit a holiday highlight. A heartwarming gesture of a birthday gift on learning it was my birthday that day. Service with a smile from all the charming staff. We' d certainly highly recommend.
Review 14:Rooms small for the price. Noisy at weekends with drunken teenagers in the street.
Review 15:Good view if you have a premium room. Do NOT accept a room over the interior courtyard unless you enjoy pop music till 2am.
Review 16:room was hot with the window shut and noisy with it open but I forgive this hotel as it was overall very good indeed. The breakfast was very Germanic.
Review 17:The staff were probably the best I have come across in a long trip. Room had a beautiful view over the river, wifi was good, very convenient for train travellers (just across the bridge and you were there)
Review 18:Very noisy at night if windows open - till 5am! No air conditioning
Review 19:The location in the centre of the old town & with views over the River Inn was superb. The gin bar opposite was so unusual & in itself worth the journey. The restaurant served good food promptly. The room was spacious & well appointed.
Review 20:Bookin.com had announced a superious room of 20 sqm. Including the bathroom and a cupboard it was only about 18 sqm. That leaves only 14 sqm to our "superior and luxury". VERY BAD and oversold. When we claimed in the reception - he could tell that it wasn't the smallest superior room we have got. :-(
Review 21:Nice view to Inn
Review 22:Very difficult to find the way to the hotel driving (on a friday afternoon) across crowded marketplace and narrow pedestrian streets. No parking was available - except in a public garage some hundreds of meters away
Review 23:Fantastic breakfast !!! Great location. Excellent steakhouse across the street run by the same family.
Review 24:Did not have a dislike.
Review 25:The hotel stay was super friendly. Location is great with convenient parking. Room very comfortable and good wifi. We would stay here again and recommend to others.
Review 26:Really helpful staff. We arrived late and they managed to get us in the restaurant. When we left they gave us all a bottle of water for the journey Superb restaurant with tyrolean food
Review 27:Although WiFi worked very well in the rooms, it required continuous re-login.
Review 28:The location is great by the river Inn, a short walk from Kufstein train station and only a short drive from Söll and the other ski resorts of SkiWelt in Austria. The staff is very friendly and the breakfast buffet is great.
Review 29:The rooms look very good in he photographs. We had a lovely view but it had a basic feel to it and the room was much smaller than expected. However the beds were comfortable although small.
Review 30:We loved the bar, breakfast and the staff were all friendly. It was easy to park. The restaurant was of a very high standard
Review 31:Extremely small rooms and bathrooms - uncomfortable. Breakfast of good quality but way too expensive. Value for money (breakfast) questionable. Cost for uncomfortable parking a total surprise.
Review 32:Location.
Review 33:we booked a deluxe room, but the room was quite normal, nothing special (except for the balcony) a bit expensive when we arrived (just a bit after 9) the reception was already closed
Review 34:the position by the river and in the center (pedestrian area) the breakfast they have a very good restaurant
Review 35:The room and bed were extremely comfortable and the location was excellent. I was particularly impressed by the amazing breakfast buffet, which offered every possible variety of anything you've ever wanted for breakfast!
Review 36:I've never seen (or eaten ;-) ) a breakfast as excellent as this one, with such a huge variety of vegetables, bread, honey - everything! Wow!!! Location super - right in the old town, only 5 minutes from the railway station. Staff very friendly and helpful. Bed very comfortable. I loved my stay here, and I certainly will be back!!!
Review 37:Weather :) It rained continuously.
Review 38:The room was very quietly, comfortable and clean, we had one overlooking the river Inn, great view. Close to the Restaurant right on Roemerhofgasse , all full of history. The staff at the reception desk was friendly and helpful. We will return gladly.
Review 39:The room was very comfortable and clean, and the staff at the reception desk was extremely helpful. They gave us good advice and helped us plan our hiking in the wilder kaiser! I would go back there anytime!
Review 40:No minibar, no air condition. Parking motorcycles to public Parking hall was a bit harmful first, but was ok anyway.
Review 41:Full of history, wonderful restaurant options. Great view to Rover and mountains.
Review 42:Just the bathroom a little dark but that is being very picky!
Review 43:We had a lovely stay here, the reception staff were first rate. The room was comfortable and overlooking the river, the bathroom was a little dated but very functional. We were there for 'Kaiser Fest' which was lovely.

Review 96:We stayed in this charming 600 year old hotel for three nights. Our room overlooked the river with a view of the mountains (room 20) was very comfortable and immaculate. We spent several hours sitting in the turret enjoying the view. The staff are so friendly, especially Fabian, most pleasant young man. We had breakfast daily, great selection of amazing breads, cheese, vegetables etc. we actually ate in the restaurant each night as well! Sitting by the river, in the warm summer evenings was memorable.
Review 97:Friendly helpful staff. Excellent food at the resturant (loved the ribs). We had a room overlooking the quaint alley (the other rooms would face the equally nice, but in a different way ,River Inn). A very enjoyable stay, we didn't want to leave.
Review 98:Our stay was only overnight. This is a fun place to stay, an old inn, but with modern comforts, right beside the River Inn, rushing by. Staff were attentive to our needs. Good meals in the restaurant, and excellent breakfast.
Review 99:It has always been one of my favorite spots, first time at that hotel and it was absolutely perfect location and it was beautiful, we could not have been happier
