Review 1：Staff not really helpful. Wifi not working for a whole week. No shower hat. Lift would need to be upgraded. Breakfast had poor choice and same everyday.

Review 3：There are more dislikes than likes, what was really dissappointing. First of all, we booked a room with a balcony (as on the pictures) and did that really early. Staff was informed. Got a tripple room instead of double without balcony (but wonderful view). The sheet on the bed, which was really dirty (you can see a yellow smirtch) was not coated by slipcover. We didnt say anything to a staff just to ignore those small things and enjoy our vacation. The floor in bathroom was really cold :( Elevator - is ok. We thought it will be slower. Breakfast.. Who is the chef?? Awuful omelette. But veeery nice croissants. Maid did not take any rubish from the room. We did it by ourselves.. Its ok, but still its included in the service. :)

Review 4：The view was adorable. The waitresses Rafaella and Francesca were really nice to us. Nice vegetable soup. Very calm enviroment.

Review 5：We'll there us mo lounge area outside or in nowhere to put your feet up and relax after a day walking about or after your days out not one soft seat anywhere to relax we are not old but don't know what old ones do when they stay there because that's the clientele the hotel mostly accommodates sorry and the breakfast not as good as previous year when we stayed but won't be back. Staff unhelpful and condescending when we complained.

Review 7：We didn't have any bad experiences but we didn't think that the breakfasts were up to the standard of the rest of the hotel. There were two types of egg but the scrambled egg and hash browns were nearly cold. Everything was self service even the coffee was from a machine which we thought was poor.

Review 11：Shabby breakfast room, steam burnt my wrist opening the hot food container. Asked restaurant manager for ice, he thrust me a tube of cream, more interested in stopping a guest walking out with a slice of cake. Didn't check if I was OK. Got back to table and found my breakfast cleared away!

Review 13：When we arrived, we were told our room had been upgraded as we were on our honeymoon.This was a lovely surprise and the room was utterly enchanting, with two windows and a balcony looking out over the sea.The staff were so friendly and helpful and nothing was ever too much trouble.the location of the hotel was perfect- right in the centre of the town and on the promenade, just a few metres from the sea.We had the most wonderful stay at Royal Westminster, it was the most memorable part of our honeymoon.We left relaxed and revivified and our only regret was that we didn't stay longer!

Review 16：What a surprise! great hotel in good location. Try for a sea view though don't worry if like us you face the street. Very pleasant garden for excellent breakfast with lots of staff on hand and huge choice of fresh and local produce.

Review 17：.The only problem that we faced was the room that we booked several months ago with sea view and balcony had not been provided by hotel to us.We stayed at the sixth floor with only sea view without any balcony.Receptionist did not want to help for our request.No minibar is in the rooms.

Review 18：The location is very good.The front facade of the hotel is in front of the beach and the opposite site is the one of the main streets of Menton which is very close to pedestrian walk zone.The rooms are clean and tidy.The breakfast buffet is more than we expected as a three-star hotel in Europe.At the back entrance there is the Carrefour supermarket which you can easiy buy some food,water etc

Review 23：We had a room without sea view and there was no balkon there. It was not comfortable as we didn't have enough place to dry clothes after the beach. Also there was no refrigerator in the room.

Review 24：It is the perfect hotel. We enjoyed every day of our stay here. A very beautiful park near the hotel entrance, excellent breakfast (eggs, variety of jams, different types of coffee, fruits, jogurt etc), a supermarket just across the road. The location is excellent: near the centre (less than 5 minutes walk), the beach is across the road, the railway station is 15 minutes of walk. Good wi-fi. We were very surprised when we were provided with the free beach matrases. I consider this hotel to be a very good value for money and will definitely be back there.

Review 25：Asked to open a bottle of wine at the bar, but was declined in quite arrogant manner, saying that they do not allow the wine, which is not bought from the hotel. Thanks for nearby brasserie, they has helped. First time see such behavior in France. In the room there is no minibar, no glasses. Only 2 plastic things, which was not even replaced during three days - strange way to save money. Wi-Fi is very unstable, requires login / password every time. Breakfast is terrible, as well as service/cleaning. Go to the nearby cafe for better experience.

Review 36：The hotel is a beautiful building, with the front facing out to the sea (a road is between the lovely hotel Mediterranean garden and the beach), and the back leading quickly into town and shops and restaurants. We have stayed in 2 other hotels in Menton, but enjoyed this above the other two. Breakfast included is a real plus. We had a very roomy 'standing'double room. Would love to return.

Review 37：The breakfast was poor with a very few selection. The Wi-Fi was ok but had to log in with user name and pass everytime. Old hotel, one elevator and very slow.

Good locations for promenade and the old town and walkable to the train station. Good that a continental b'fast option was available in the bar area until 11:30 if you missed the full b'fast in the restaurant.

Review 52：I have been coming here for the past 15 years and have always found the staff, especially Christine, very friendly, gracious and helpful. The location is the best, right across from the beach and half a block to the pedestrian area where there are nice restaurants and stores. There is also a grocery store right across the street on the mountain side. A nice complimentary breakfast is included. I highly recommend paying a little extra for the sea view, especially since the rooms are so reasonably priced to begin with.

However the room was fine without it mostly. The staff were friendly and the gardens and dining room were spacious. Breakfast was yummy!
