Reviews for Le Cedre Bleu
Review 1:The room was smaller than it was suppposed to be;the latrine is inside the room (!), that smelt badly, by the way (mould). Breakfast penurious. We felt ourselves deceived.
Review 2:Elizabeth is a wonderful hostess and her breakfast is great! It's a pretty spot and we could walk to all Lisoeux sites from there (1.4 miles to the basilica, for example).
Review 3:Take Care up the drive in a low car!
Review 4:Charming hostess. Good advice on where to eat out.The room was "unusual" in that it was one room including the shower & toilet...very intimate, but decorated with flair! We did not have the self catering room. We were welcomed with tea & home made ice cream and the breakfasts were quite excellent with home made jams & pastries. A quirky, but good place to stay.
Review 5:The house is beautiful located on a hill, the room is good and separate from the house. Our breakfast was served on a kind of terrace in their house with a very nice view. The family is really nice, we felt very welcome in their hospitality.
Review 6:Be aware of a very challenging steep driveway.
Review 7:Hostess was very accommodating. Immediately recommended and made reservations for our evening meal which turned out to be one of our best dining experiences. Breakfast was a treat with homemade jams and yogurt.
Review 8:The entrance drive may have been difficult for less competent drivers.
Review 9:Welcome. Room clean, simple but had everything we needed. Effective marshalling to turn our long car at the top of the drive. Elizabeth very generous with her windfall apples.
Review 10:Very friendly and relaxed owner. She gave us tea and cake on arrival and was very laid back when we arrived late for breakfast! She also helped us to find restaurants to eat at which were both very nice. Definitely return if going to that area again
Review 11:The steep unmade drive is a bit difficult to navigate.
Review 12:Lovely room with tea making facilities which you don't normally get in France. Great breakfast in a sunlit conservatory overlooking the garden. Elizabeth was an excellent hostess and very helpful on places to visit.
