Reviews for La Nesquière Chambres d'Hôtes
Review 1:Nothing (long gravel path might be unsuitable for road bikes).
Review 2:Exactly as you would imagine an old farm house in the south of France. The breakfast was superb, the host very friendly!
Review 3:The hostess was super friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Beautiful peaceful location and perfect for a quiet reflective break in lovely gardens and fields.
Review 4:Very good service, excellent breakfast, nice location in the middle of the Provence area, beautiful interior design (furnitures, dishes, linen). Highly recommendable!
Review 5:Fabulous stay! Kids loved the heated swimming pool and the games room. Isabelle is a perfect host and the breakfast was delicious with lovely breads, homemade jams and fruit salad. Hope we can stay again.
Review 6:This is one of the best places I have stayed at. It was like living in a postcard. I will recommend it to my friends and family and I hope I can stay there again.
Review 7:This was like arriving in paradise after travelling around France for several weeks. Country setting yet still close to many points of interest in the area. In these beautiful surroundings we felt very relaxed and well looked after by our hostess Isabelle her family & staff. Our room was lovely, spacious & had the bonus of a kitchenette. Breakfast each day was served in the garden and included home made treats/jams etc. The pool was wonderful in the hot weather. Isabelle was helpful with regard to local restaurants & places of interest. We will be recommending La Nesquiere to friends and family and would definitely stay here again.
Review 8:After several weeks in high tourist areas, Isabelle's farm was a tranquil retreat. Plenty to do for our adult children and peace and quiet for us. Great location for exploring the area.
Review 9:Isabelle the owner is a charming hostess. Her breakfast with home-made jams is one of the best we had on our trip. The garden with roses and other flowers is enchanting. Ask her to make you dinner reservations in town, very knowledgable. Beautiful decor, including antiques. We had a great time!
Review 10:Me and My husband stayed there for 5 days and we just fell in love with this place. The staff and the owners where so helpful and frendly. It was a perfekt place from where we could explore nearby country side. We hope to come back there next year.
Review 11:Beautiful B&B in an original French farm.
Review 12:The WiFi was not effective
Review 13:Delightful setting, good facilities, very pleasant and helpful hosts.
Review 14:This hotel is an absolute gem. We will return for sure! Incredible breakfast, great room, beautiful grounds, fantastic staff.
Review 15:No lock/key for bedroom door
Review 16:Wonderful farm house. Beautiful area. Host was very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was amazing.
Review 17:Friendly and familiar atmosphere. Wonderful Isabelle. Gorgious breakfast in the beautiful garden.
Review 18:The beautiful nature all over the place.
Review 19:If you're looking for a hotel in the middle of a town, this is not it. It is indeed a very old farmhouse setting, but that is exactly what we were looking for. It is a very authentic Provencal experience in that way (the oldest part of the farmhouse is over 300 years old).
Review 20:We love the friendliness of the proprietess, Mme. de Maintenant. We also find the grounds to be lovely and relaxing. We travelled with our 2 kids (ages 11 & 12) and they simply loved exploring the grounds and playing outdoors. Our room was a suite, with 2 bedrooms. There was a small kitchenette in this unit, a TV, Wi-Fi, a bathroom with a shower and 2 sinks and a separate WC (toilet room). A delightful French country breakfast was laid out each morning in the dining room. We find this location to be pretty central to all the places we wanted to go on this trip, n-s-e & w - Avignon, Orange, Mt. Ventoux, St. Remy de Provence, Les Baux, and surrounds.
Review 21:You did have to drive to get to any restaurant since it was not in a village, but we knew that. It is not a spectacular setting the way a place on the coast or up in the hills might be, but again, we knew that and the price reflected that.
Review 22:It is in farm country, very quiet, in a traditional farm complex. We were there in mid October so the lavender was not blooming, but the orchards were heavy with apples. It is a good location from which to visit Mont Ventoux, Avignon, Pont du Gard, the Nesque gorge, and the many hill towns towards Apt. The room was spacious with a great modern shower. Breakfast of bread, pastries, yoghurt jams and fruit was great. There was a very nice restaurant about 15" away in Pernes les Fontaines called Dame L'Oise.
Review 23:I wish I had known that there were no toiletries offered, but this is probably my mistake for not knowing that B&Bs do not offer these.
Review 24:Everything about La Nesquiere is authentically and perfectly Provence - from being greeted by the cicadas, the lavenders in the garden, and rose flowers outside your second floor window. Isabelle is very accommodating and will prepare the most beautiful Provencal breakfast for you. We wish we could have stayed longer!
Review 25:the proprietaire, Isabelle, was very kind and accommodating.
Review 26:the friendliness of the hosts; the feeling of family-lived-in country house; the quality of the room&bathroom
