Review 1:there was nothing to be angry about.

Review 2:For it's price it is OK, staff is kind, room No.2 with a balcony was OK too. Parking not closed but giving an impression to be safe.

Review 3:Noisy on main road, booked a terrace room with a view but didn't get, think we were given the smallest room in the hotel.

Review 4:Location was good and room was clean.

Review 5:Although we stayed one night, it was a very nice and perfectly located hotel. It is minutes away from the train station and many other popular places to visit, such as Saint Therese's childhood home and church.

Review 6:5 minutes from train station, just down the road from the cathedral (easy to find). Excellent staff & food was really good, variety, quality & price.

Review 7:The hotel location is very good, close to train station, the Basilica of Saint Therese of Liseaux, the Carmel and the downtown. We were very comfortable there.

Review 8:Surprisingly the area was a bit run down, so first impression not good. Shops etc clsed or a bit shabby. Also hotel entrance hall and staircase needed refurbishment. Poor first impression.

Review 9:The room had been refurbished and bathroom excellent. Staff welcoming and friendly. Near to cathedral. As an overnight stay good value but would warn visitors not to be overly impressed.

Review 33:Room next door had TV loud until about 2am

Review 35:The location was great and the staff helpful and kind.

Review 36:Location

Review 37:Breakfast a bit ordinary for the price

Review 38:Car parking. Comfortable quiet room with good bathroom. Excellent dinner on the terrasse

Review 39:Comfort and facilities are poor because the bedrooms need a renovation.

Review 40:Food was OK. Staff is friendly

Review 41:Restaurant was good, French-style meal.

Review 42:Would have liked drink making facility's in the bedroom for that early morning drink. Our room was at the front of the hotel on the main st. and had traffic noise until late evening. The breakfast was a little basic and rather mundane but this is probably all down to a sign of the times.

Review 43:We were made very welcome which also applied to our small dog. The evening meals were excellent ,good value and served with helpful and friendly staff. The hotel is only a short walk from the Abbey which is well worth a. Visit.

Review 44:Tea and coffee-making facilities in the room wuld have been very welcome.

Review 45:Even better location than I realised, inbetween the Basilica and Centre Ville, and handy for restaurants.

Review 46:Everything was fine. Very convenient stopping off point in journey west. Road a bit noisy if you have windows open at night but it is quite a busy town and wouldn't stop us for staying again.

Review 47:Very good location and friendly staff. Easy to to find with private parking.

Review 48:The hotel had no information about our booking when we arrived and the room was not as described by booking.com

Review 49:Parking was easy and free. Location was good and the staff were very friendly.

Review 50:Initial impression negative as reception staff were rather slow in checking us in and the state of the stair carpets is dreadful; no lift.

Review 51:Easy to find; decent sized room; easy walking distance to the town centre and good restaurants nearby; adequate free parking on site

Review 52:Despite description no hair dryer in the room, you can ask at reception but that's not helpful when you have wet hair. No robes either (a minor point) but it shouldn't be stated that they're available if they're not

Review 53:It was very well positioned, easy to find. The room was comfortable and staff pleasant. Parking just around the back, very helpful. Lisieux is a lovely city too.

Review 54:We had paid for a balcony according to Booking.com. That was not forthcoming. It was rather shabby except for the very decent new bathroom. Had to lug suitcases up three flights of stairs.

Review 55:Brilliant new bathroom. Location ok and especially so if you are a St Therese pilgrim as near to the large, rather gaudy shrine and attendant tacky shops. Breakfast basic. Parking free and behind hotel.

Review 56:No lift, no tea making facilities

Review 57:Helpful staff, free car parking at rear, restaurant looked well presented but our visit coincided with large group booking so went out to eat. Choice of other places nearby. Table service for breakfast. Clean and well decorated.

Review 58:The hotel's breakfast was too expensive for my liking so Iate elsewhere

Review 59:The proximity to St. Therese basilica and all the other sights ofLisieux. The staff were friendly and helpful - it didn't matter somuch that they had almost no English and me no French at all!

Review 60:Welcome, location, dinner

Review 61:Open car park. General tired gloomy dull decor. Couldn't enter back way in from car park in rain with baggage.

Review 62:Staff friendly

Review 63:rather old fashioned decor; could do with brighter colours and better lighting

Review 64:close to the main sites, very friendly staff

Review 65:There was nothing

Review 66:All good served the purpose we were there. Owners were just lovely food great service terrific.
