Review 1：Found breakfast a bit overpriced but the quality was excellent.

Review 2：Comfortable hotel, close to the metro in an attractive town. Staff were friendly and helpful. We had business nearby so made sense to stay here, but also took the metro into the city a few times and found it easy and good value on a T10 tickets.

Review 15：This is not a problem, but just for informing, I can say that the hotel location is a little bit far from the city center (approx. 4-5 km). But, there are train and metro stations near to the hotel (10 min. by walking) and it is easy to go city center and airport directly from these stations.

Review 16：The general approach of the hotel for customer satisfaction is really perfect. With this approach, a guest can feel right and comfortable. Therefore, I like everything regarding to the hotel. On the other hand, there is a big shopping center just behind the hotel and you can find many kind of shops and supermarket in it.

Review 17：Everything about NH Barcelona La Maquinista was satisfactory. Though the location might be a little far from the city center for some, it is in a very safe neighbourhood and right beside a very good mall that has everything one could possibly need. In any case there are two metro stations and a rail station within walking distance, so getting around wasn't difficult at all. Staff were really friendly, and the rooms were spacious and very clean. No complaints at all.

Review 18：Hotel looks better in real life than on the photos! Great hotel with great personel, very comfortable room with air condition! Good localization, 10 min walk from the train station (direct train from airport - 25 minutes ride). Big shopping mall just behind is additional advantage.

Review 19：Our room had a leak from the A/C unit. We reported it but it was not fixed. The only solution we were offered was to put a towel on the floor below the leak.

It was at 15 minutes at least walking distance from the nearest subway station, which station was 20 minutes by train to the closest station in the center. - The bed was awful. We paid extra amount for standard double bed, but we were provided with 2 trundled different size beds.

Review 24：It's not in the central, so it's quite, but the central is only 20 minutes away. Jump on the underground. travel is cheap only like 80 pence ajourney. There is a nice shopping mall next door where you can find many restaurants.

Review 29：When I first arrived at the hotel, the recepionist (Gorgé) took a very long time to check us in. I requested a double bed, but he said there was only a room available with 2 seperate beds. When I arrived to the room I saw the cleaner lady, my girlfriend asked her in Spanish if she knew if there was any room with a double bed, and yes! Suddenly it was possible to get a room with a double bed, without any help of the receptionist but with help of the cleaning lady! I think this was all a bit amateuristic!

I requested an early check in and was told that it would be fine, got charged 10 euro for it. there's a city tax in Barcelona which wasn't previously explained. the room was roasting, the air conditioning was useless. English channels wouldn't work on tv.

Review 41：location was pretty good, a bit out for the city but lots of options to get there. beside the hotel is an amazing shopping center, with lots of restaurants supermarket etc. Room was spacious and clean and free wi fi was available, mini fridge in room, comfortable bed staff were helpful.

Review 47：This hotel is not easy to find! If you take the bus 42 from Plaça del Cataluna you can reach to the hotel but do not use the metro, it is really far! During out check in the receptionist was OK but during out check out the receptionist didnt smile even for once, she was really unfriendly. The housekeeping lady came into the room without even knocking so this was really uncomfortable. Wifi signal was ok but not perfect. I wouldnt choose again for sure!

Review 53：2nd time I stayed in La Maquinista. The standard is good. The breakfast is something to look forward too. The clients are mostly serious people. The staff treats you with respect. Round the corner are 10 restaurants, Mc Donalds, Burger King, cinemas and an enormous shopping center, mall. 10 min walk to Metro. Taxi stop 20 m from hotel entrance. I stayed 13 nights this time and got much for the money. WiFi is possible to achieve double codes for the same day for free.

Review 54：The remote for the TV didn't work so I had to get up to change the channel every time. The Wifi was poor and I had to get a new password every 24 hours. Other than that, everything was great! I really recommend this hotel.

The location was not good, although there is a big mall right next to the hotel which was great, but there is a bus that leaves you right at the hotel so there wasn't so much trouble.

Despite specifically indicating that we wanted a double bed, we got twin beds instead. The hotel is next door to a mammoth shopping centre but the location is by no means central. Finally, some reception staff struck me as inattentive.
