Reviews for Chambres d'Hôtes Les Habrans
Review 1:It's just a bit out of the way, although we were helpfully shown a short cut to town, and a handy parking space.
Review 2:Very pretty spot, very welcoming and helpful host. Lovely country setting, great selection of home made preserves
Review 3:Nothing at all.
Review 4:Pierre, the owner, made us feel completely at home. He was extremely friendly and let us use his property as if it were or own. We wished we could have stayed longer but had other commitments.
Review 5:Booked at around 6.30pm in the evening via Booking.com. We had difficulty locating the b&b and when we finally arrived we found it it locked up and had to ring the owner, Pierre, who was not expecting us, although he was very apologetic when he did turn up.
Review 6:Comfortable, clean room with en-suite bath/shower/wc. Bed nice and firm with extra bedclothes if required. Kitchen facilities available. Convivial host.
Review 7:Pretty house on the banks of the Dronne river. Superb host (speak English). Nice comfortable room. Good breakfast on the terrace or inside. Just outside Brantome, you could walk, but probably 20 -30 mins. By car 5 mins. Will definitely go again.
Review 8:I really don't like the room because of humidity inside and in my point of view the price is a little bit too much.
Review 9:The owner of this B&B is very good and frendly person he speaks fluent English wich is wery rare in France.
Review 10:Run down and expensive. Price doesn't match quality of property.
Review 11:Absolutely delightful location, beautiful shady garden with private access to river for swimming and canoeing.
Review 12:Location close to the village right on the river. Charming host Pierre was very helpful. A lovely old house we had it almost to ourselves.
Review 13:Pierre was a lovely host and would do anything in his power to help you the place is so peaceful and relaxing.
Review 14:Nothing!
Review 15:Loved Pierre! He was there every morning with fresh croissants and chatter. Delightful host.
Review 16:Breakfast on the front terrace was excellent. Room very airy and clean. No problems storing the bike.
Review 17:Exteria good do with a facelift.
Review 18:Close to Shops, bars Restaurants, tourism in general.
Review 19:Smoking was allowed in the house so everything smelt of that a bit. Noise travelled through the house a lot so we worried about disturbing other guests as we have small children.
Review 20:This was a good stopping point on our journey south through France. Brantome is a lovely town, worth a visit. Les Habrans was set in a lovely garden on the banks of the river, and was a very tranquil spot. The owners were friendly. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was included and was made up of croissants, bread and jam, coffee and orange juice. I would be happy to stay there again if doing a similar journey.
Review 21:There was no information provided about the time of breakfast or how to access wifi, a room folder would have been useful
Review 22:Pierre was friendly, amusing and very helpful in booking an interesting and good restaurant in Brantome. He and madame offered coffee on arrival and carried our bags to our room.
Review 23:There was nothing to dislike except the anxiety over what had happened to the lady.
Review 24:Lovely spot by the river and very pretty room - was welcomed very warmly by the 'lady of the house' with a tray of tea - for some reason we did not see her again for the duration of our stay which was three nights. We were served a very adequate breakfast by her husband but were left anxious that all was well with her.
Review 25:Hard to find as no address given , had to ask office of tourism where itwas , as the map put it in centre of town ,when actually it was about1.5k past the cemetery,a difficult place to find .if the tourist officenot open may have spent all day trying to find it...so make sure youhave phone email first...
Review 26:Quiet location , but far from town
Review 27:Not the easiest place to find, need to use co-ordinates if using Sat Nav.
Review 28:Very rustic but a charming host. Relaxing place to spend a few days.
Review 29:The owner couldn't do enough for us. Very nice man indeed. Nothing too much trouble
Review 30:Clean, comfortable, tranquil setting, very helpful owners, good breakfast and within easy reach of city centre and tourist areas.
Review 31:Good peaceful location. Just enough off the main tourist part of thetown. Basic accommodation.
Review 32:Very friendly and helpful staff. River running by behind. Wellsignposted form Brantyome.
