Review 1：Wifi weak but the same story all over Filzmoos until fiber optic arrives!

Review 2：Comfortable rooms, very friendly staff and excellent facilities. Great restaurant with wide choice of meals for all tastes. Pool and games rooms a real bonus for the children. Thoroughly recommend the Alpenkrone for a family holiday and we look forward to returning.

Review 3：Investment in the WiFi is highly needed: as soon as some (2+) clients have reached the lobby, connection becomes weak, if any. Dinner menu has not proven being a strong point in both quantity and quality

Hotel's swimming pool full of screaming and unsupervised kids with no lifeguard or member of staff. No place for group of friends to socialize except the hotel bar.

Review 18：In the winter there is high snow and the roads to the hotel are sometimes not cleaned, so you need to have chains and good winter tires. It is very nice for the atmosphere, everything white and clean and peaceful, but just be sure you have chains with you, in case you need them.

Review 19：A wonderful place to get away from everyday life. Filzmoos is an idyllic Austrian little town, and the hotel is situated above the town, you see only mountains around, very peaceful. The food is wonderful. The staff is very friendly. Definitely worth recommending.

We would however like to recommend provision of wi-fi in the whole hotel incl. rooms (not only at the reception) for a full comfort of internet-addicted visitors :) as well as prohibition of smoking in the whole hotel (now it is partly allowed in the bar and TV room only).

We appreciated: - fantastic 'author's' cuisine, - personal care of the owner (quality of service and guest's comfort), - location (a bit off the village center but quiet, with great views and ski-bus next to the hotel), - redecorations of rooms and common spaces, - nice and 'positive' staff (waitresses, reception, cleaning ladies), and .... (to our suprise) sunny weather :)

The other side of the hotel is facing only mountain.Warm and very clean room and bathroom, great bed, great pilow. Breakfastwith quality and wide choice of cutleries, fresh and can fruit,different yogurts. Fresh brown bread with seeds, rye bread, and in theearly state of breakfast croissants. Pickled vegetables (paprika,cucumber and onion) also. Juice is from machine, Filter coffee, hot andcold milk, hot cocoa. In the morning you make your written choice of thetwo evening meals, plus vegeterian or kid choice. In the evening salladbar. It was busy all the time, but didn't see any trouble beeingserved promptly. Meals are made in a manner of a "chefcousine" to my experience. Small antrecote, soup, followed by meal,everything nicely served, with a desert at the and. Maybe, they shouldconsider increesing size of portions. Manager is the owner also, busybut friendly guy. He met my request to cut down the price because of thesudden cancelation of the member of my family, wich was quiteprofessional and more then friendly. Very nice pool, about 25m2,afternoons are busy, but if you do not skii, use it in the morning,nobody is there! Sauna is working only afternoons. Bar is also does notwork in the morning. Coming to the hotel: relatively steep road about,5km from the village, regularely under winter service, pebbles helpsyou get without trouble, winter tires is must! When you rich the hotel,there is 50m of the down hill road to the two entrances, main and sideone. That is trouble, if there is too much snow, you can easy get stuck,if you do not have chains on your winter tires. All together, I willchoose this hotel again!
