Review 1：Very welcoming and helpful owners and staff. Excellent location for access to the centre ville. Tasty breakfast with homemade croissants and jam and local yoghurt. Lovely swimming pool for a refreshing dip after a day wandering around the local sites. A very affordable choice.

Review 3：A warm ..(English spoken).. welcome in an 'oasis' of tranqulity in heart of Brantome. The friendly owners and staff cared about your wellbeing. The food and drink presentation and quality was excellent in relaxed open air surroundings. Private parking for cars or motorcycles was adjoining the Hotel and safe.
Review 4：There is nothing to complain about at this hotel and the town was lovely. Want to go there again as soon as I can but stay for longer next time.

Review 11：Nice, clean, spacious room with comfortable (twin) beds and a very good shower room, all in a good state. Being set back from the road, the room was quiet. Perfect for our one-night stay. Didn't use the restaurant for dinner or breakfast, but it looked nice. The owner was helpful, polite and pleasant.

Review 17：Lovely hotel, Marielle and Gilles were very good hosts, always willing to explain the menu and recommend the wines, (they were not always the most expensive either). The room was very comfortable, overlooking the delightful terrace, where we ate out at most evenings. The food was delicious. We would come here again without a doubt.

Review 22：One of our family's rooms was off a dark hallway and smelled so strongly of cleaning fluid it needed to be aired out. I didn't use the wifi but the kids said it was not free, there was a charge to use it.

Review 64：Inside the hotel it is somewhat gloomy with very dark corridors and old fashioned rooms. A bit of light bright paint would transform it. It was not the most welcoming of hotels.

Review 67：Room was very hot as no air-con or fan - had to have windows open which was ok but road noise from motorcycles and PLs most of the night as on main route out of town to Nontron. Slightly unpleasant smell in foyer of annexe, presume from spa. Didn't use pool as no direct access from annexe that we could see, did not want to walk around street corner in swimwear to get to pool and back, maybe there is a shortcut, but not obvious.

Very welcoming hosts, made the effort to speak to everyone. Rightly proud of their business. Excellent restaurant with good range of dishes, all explained and/or recommended by hosts. Food very good and excellent wine recommended by host at sensible price. Very relaxed style without compromising quality. Shady courtyard to eat outside.
