Review 1：Toilet roll needed replenishing but bathroom was spotless

Review 2：A last minute booking because ferry to Rosslare was cancelled but when I arrived the proprietors could not have been nicer. The lovely lady even made me an omelette for breakfast.

Review 3：Room not available until 1630hrs. Was not advised of this when booking. Not satisfactory especially in winter.

Review 11：The staff were so nice and accommodating and English speaking. It was a basic hotel with lots of potential. Young couple owners. It was clean and comfortable. Warm but big windows that work.bonus. lots of hot water which we great to soak in the bath. Yes the roo. A are small with basic furnishings and little DIY to finish off but the good definitely out weighs the bad. Beautiful staircase and a beautiful building. A plus from all six of us.

Review 13：The owners, they were very warm a big smile as soon as you walked through the door. Nothing was a bother, they wrote down places to eat see and any issues they dealt with it. We had a little issue with our car and they were the first on the scene to help and gave up their secured parking. We will defiantly go and stay again very helpful very warm people, place needed some work but you could see they were doing this, that's the reason we would go back, the owners. Mr Lewis

Review 14：The owner was very friendly and helpful and even went as far as researching events in the local area for me. I would say the value for money was very good, especially given the location of the hotel and the quality of the accommodation.

Review 15：We had a room offering excellent view over the square but it was a warm evening and we had the window open, so some noise from local youths congregating in the square.

Review 16：Ferry arrived late but owner was so helpful, finding us a car space in the square and keeping it whilst we moved the car - and recommending an excellent restaurant very nearby at 11pm. Great cold continental breakfast - lovely fresh coffee, bread, croissants, cereals, yoghurt and fresh fruit. Very friendly and helpful. An excellent overnight stay.

Review 28：I feel bad criticizing the hotel as we were made so welcome, however, the carpet and upholstery in the room were shabby, dirty and stained. The bathroom soap dispensers were empty and although they were replaced willingly, we were still unable to get any soap out. The shower head leaked all round, instead of through the head itself, a shower was impossible. There was a single plug for the bath and two wash basins-difficult !.Also only one tooth 'glass' was provided. Generally the room needed a little extra 'loving' and cleanliness.

Review 29：On arrival we were greeted in a very friendly manner, we were made very welcome and helped in every way, from parking to the recommendation of a good restaurant. The sheets were clean, as was the bathroom. l The breakfast was plentiful and excellent value for money.

Review 33：Veronique, the owner, is lovely, making us feel very welcome and she spoke good English. The family room was large, with spearate room for the children and very clean. We had a very nice breakfast, with plenty to eat in the pleasant dining room. The Napoleon is a lovely old building with a beautiful winding sraircase and character. This lovely small hotel has a nice feel and as I said, Veronique was a perfect host. Would definately recommend!!

Review 34：The city of Cherbourg is not recomanable to stay. Is better to go near the beach, in another little town.

Review 35：The location of the hotel in Cherbourg is excelent. The staff were gentle and explain things to visit in the area. Wifi works correctly.

Review 36：We stayed in a room at the front of the hotel overlooking the pretty square, this could get a little noisey at night when the bars closed and the heat meant we had to leave the windows open. But the noise was not what I would call excessive and died down quickly.

Review 37：This hotel is run almost as if you are staying with close relatives. The owner, manager is extremely friendly and helpful, with a smile on her face ready to help in any way she can. The rooms are fairly basic, but very clean and comfortable and the wi-fi is batter than in most places where you have to pay to use it. Breakfast was typically French, the croissants and bread were excellent quality and coffee was fantastic. The location is fantastic, close to several very good restaurants and bars, the shopping centre, and inner harbour.

Review 91：Good location, very friendly and helpful owners. The breakfast was excellent. A traditional hotel full of character, but not for those who want to stay in modern sterile chain hotels. We were on a cycling holiday, and the owners kindly stored our 3 bikes inside the hotel.

Review 92：on several occasions during our 9 day stay, late at night you could hear boisterous young adults on the street below and occasionally, people blowing automobile horns; I do not consider these incidents to be major, disrupted events.

I would recommended this facility highly; the hotel is a quaint facility providing a 100% French atmosphere, and located in a totally historical area.

Review 94：Screaming out to be re-decorated .Bathroom needs updateing shower almost un-usable.Electric sockets very worrieing, killed my hair-drier. Staircase ,no light very dark day and night . Sometimes you just can not sit back and just take the money . It would be such a nice Hotel if it was done up.
