Prehistoric Lodge is located at the entrance of the Gorges de l’Ardèche Nature Reserve, just 350 feet from the Chauvet Cave. It offers guest rooms with a terrace and free WiFi access.
Each room is an independent ecolodge, decorated elegantly in a style inspired by the local environment. Each room is air-conditioned and overlooks the gardens. The en suite bathrooms have a shower and spa bath.
A continental breakfast is served daily. Guests can also enjoy local cuisine at Le Chamane restaurant, which is open for brunch, lunch and evening meals. Packed lunches can also be arranged.

Review 1：Nothing. It was perfect.
Review 2：The lodge is located secretly next to the river. When we arrive, everything was ready for us. All the informations were well informed. We would go back again! :)
Review 3：Disappointed to be in a "hotel room" when we expected to be in an eco-lodge tent as per the photos shown on the booking.com website. The WIFI is free but slow and you need a new password everyday and you are obliged to watch adverts every time you log in. Chauvet cave is not within walking distance of the Lodge as described on the booking.com website but a 15 -20 minute drive.

Review 8：An amazing location on the Ardeche with staff who couldn't be more helpful. Magical at night- silence and a private beach. River swimming and access to canoes. The staff will make you a picnic for your day trip. Great food, one choice at night which you have to book by 12.45 the same day. You also have a choice of a BBQ on the private beach. All food was fresh, tasty and good value.
Review 9：L'absence totale d'intimité :aucune séparation toilette chambre ! Le bruit de la cascade juste à coté. Prévoir les boules quies si le bruit vous indispose... Des bungalow qui ne ferment pas à clé. Le wifi totalement absent, alors que nous étions dans le 1er bungalow à partir de la réception. Un chemin d'accès aux bungalow dangereux : on manque de glisser sur les cailloux à chaque pas, et avec les valises, c'est sportif. Clim annoncée, mais pas vue.
Review 10：L'accès au bord de l'Ardèche, et la possibilité de se baigner (attention toutefois aux vipères). Un lit bien moelleux, pour se réchauffer, car les nuits sont fraiches.

Review 30：The location was terrific right next to the river and the Gorges de l'Ardèche, with just a short walking distance to the pont d'arc. The view from the room was very beautiful. The hotel's got a nice family atmosphere, and the staff was very friendly. We rented a canoe to paddle down the stream, and the owner picked us up a couple hours later.
