Reviews for Appartements Les Loges du Capucin
Review 1:Gabriella was very welcoming, our room was spotless, and the bed very comfortable. Location was great, we overlooked the main Street, and didn't hear any noise. Would definitely go back.
Review 2:If your a veggie you may starve in Kaysersberg, if it ever had a face they're eating it.
Review 3:Lovely people, great central location, amazing eclectic restaurant joined to the hotel/apartments. The blue room we stayed in was lovely so many finishing touches with a fridge for your use on the landing.
Review 4:We had a wonderful stay at this apartment. The window seat was awesome. We enjoyed our meals sitting there looking out at a great view of this pretty little town. Gabrielle and Stephanie took great care of us!
Review 5:Fantastic place, great facilities, clean and friendly, accommodating staff. Couldn't have wished for better. Ideally situated in the centre of kaysersberg and felt like a home from home. Made our little 2 year old feel very welcome too, making up a special bed for him. Only slight snag was the weak wifi signal but it was just about ok and i think was due to be improved.
Review 6:The place to park the car is any where you can find that is vacant away from the hotel. A parking card is given to place on the car so no charges are made. It was raining when we arrived and we had to drive into the actual village and unload the car then try to find parking else where. Windows not doubled glazed and would be hot in summer and cold in winter.
Review 7:We had the blue room and although small was comfortable.
Review 8:Room price could be a bit less due to the fact that this is without breakfast.
Review 9:Very nice decorated room with street view. Shower was modern high tech, makes you shower longer to discover all the options. Coffee and tea facility. Also a small refrigerator in the hallway.Good wifi.
Review 10:Can you improve the wifi in the bedroom? It was excellent in the living room.
Review 11:The location is excellent. Perfect for exploring the town and perfect for those wanting to head off on hikes or bike rides through the vineyards to explore nearby villages. We loved the decor and the location above the garden cafe. We enjoyed an impromptu performance of Ukranian musicians from the terrace below. The apartment was spotless and well equipped for travellers who prefer to stay in and prepare their own meals. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Review 12:We were picked up from Colmar by the lovely Gabrielle, we were shown great hospitality and felt very much welcome! The room was clean, comfortable and in a great location! We really enjoyed our stay in Kaysersberg
Review 13:Only thing we didn't like was the address was not visible. I didn't see it until later in the day. Paint 60 above the door.
Review 14:Location and parking was easy. The room has everything you need.
Review 15:There was a problem with ants in our bathroom.
Review 16:It is in the centre of the town. Staff were friendly and efficient. Good WiFi. The apartment was well-equipped with coffee and tea, and even wine glasses. Free parking was provided as well. They even let us kept the parking permit after we checked out so that we could look around in town and have lunch.
Review 17:First floor garden view apartment can be noisy as its right above the restaurant.
Review 18:Location very central, apartment had everything you need, spacious and comfortable.
Review 19:Bathroom not completely seperated from bedroom. Parking available on +- 100m (which is free of charge as guest of le capucin)
Review 20:Excellent location in the heart of the village yet still quiet between 22h and 10h Room full of character Many homely features Very clean Plenty of storage Excellent traditional restaurant downstairs + breakfast there is optional @ 10€/pp Friendly hosts
Review 21:The decor was lime green and purple!
Review 22:It was a very comfortable apartment right in the heart of Kaysersberg. Would definitely recommend. Friendly landlady, free parking ticket and a complimentary coffee one morning; nice touch. Their restaurant served wonderful tarte flambe.
Review 23:This hotel is in a great location in the cute town of Kaysersberg. We stayed in the orange room, and it was cute, clean, and comfortable. There was an interesting shower stall too that was fun to experience. It had lights, radio, and a rain shower option. It wasn't the best shower in the world, but was a neat talking point! For parking, they give you a plaque to put in your car to park for free in the street (maybe a 5-minute walk). Most of all, the hostess was super friendly and nice! I had requested an extra-bed last minute on my reservation, and she had overlooked to respond that the extra beds were taken already. She went out of her way to try and help, and gave us an extra room at no cost! It wasn't a "too bad, so sad" attitude whatsoever. Even if she couldn't provide us with the extra room, she would have been very apologetic. She was such a nice lady, and gave us an awesome stay while exploring the Alsace Wine Route! I didn't know whether to stay in Kaysersberg, Turkheim, Eguisheim, or Riquewihr--but picking this hotel in Kaysersberg did not disappoint at all! It was the perfect city and hotel to base out of to explore the wine route.
Review 24:- WiFi connection was sometimes very slow or not present.- Car parking is possible in the main street of the village (also very close to the appartment) however entry is prohibited from 13.30-18.00h. This was not a problem for us, since parking just outside the village (5 minutes walk) was very easy, however nice to know before arrival.
Review 25:- Very nice atmosphere, lovely city- Owners are very friendly and speak French, German and English fluently. - Appartment has everything you need; all the equipment we could wish for during our stay was there.
Review 26:Guests are equipped with a car-parking carnet (free) for local authority car-parking, but it is a concern leaving one's car overnight in an open unprotected park that could be a few hundred metres from the apartment.
Review 27:Well-appointed, cosy and comfortable, well equipped, very hospitable and helpful staff under the supervision of the charming Gabrielle. All at a very reasonable price.

Review 50:The rooms were pretty, the location ideal, and the couple who run it were delightful, going out of their way to meet our needs. During a week-long trip to the area, we stayed in five very highly rated hotels, but the charm and hospitality of this one made it our favorite.
Review 51:Was surprised, when owner asked 40 EUR for end cleaning, or asked to clean myself, bet when I booked, there wasn't any additional information about extra cleaning charges for this apartment.
Review 52:Fantastic place, clean apartment and very beautiful village and location.
Review 53:Located on a main street of the small town called Kaiserberg. It is like a picture from the postcard, with authentic old houses, shops etc. Free parking badge.
Review 54:One tiny thing - the entrance to the apartments' stairs has an unpleasant smell...
Review 55:The room is equipped with everything needed for staying and eating. The room is very colourful and every detail is carefully thought and of a high quality. The owners have a nice restaurant near, and they are a very lovely couple to talk to (but you won't see them if you don't want to...) the village is a lovely place, and the apartment is just in its centre. In addition, you get a plate that allows you to park near the hotel for free.
Review 56:Really nice family run business with a great restaurant in addition. From the moment I made the booking until we left, we had contact withGabrielle and we were made feel very welcome and had a very happy stay. Will definitely return and can only endorse this place as an excellentplace to stay for every reason.
Review 57:No wifi in room. Small room. Small bathroom.
Review 58:Excellent hospitality from owners. Excellent location. Excellent parking.
Review 59:Staff very helpful and accommodating. Room was nice and location perfect. Felt like a home away from home.
Review 60:Plastic mattress protector on the bed - made you overheat each night!!!
Review 61:The location is very handy for exploring the 'Route de Vin'.
