Review 1：Heating in the rooms was too much; makes one's nasal area very dry which disturbs from a good night's sleep.

Review 4：The view can be good if you are at high floor. There is a park, a play ground in front of the hotel. The view from the river is also brilliant. The breakfast is good and with a lot of choices. You can even have a take away coffee from breakfast. The staff are friendly and willing to help. I asked him for some Euro cash for car park and put it in my bill. He is flexible and kind.

Review 13：The room was extremely expensive. It was the most expensive hotel room I have ever stayed at so far. In fact it cost more than a hotel room in central London, and London's population is more than that of the entire country than Finland. But perhaps this was because of high demand at the time, as this was during the South Park music festival in Tampere. The breakfast buffet was a little bit bland. I would have liked more fresh vegetables, more choices of bread and pastries, and fried bacon and beans. As a curiosity, the breakfast buffet included mustamakkara (blood sausage, a local speciality in Tampere) but I didn't try it because I've had bad experiences of it in the past. Even though the reception hall, the restaurant and the actual rooms are very nice-looking, the corridors are a little bit bland and can be a little bit difficult to navigate.

Review 14：The hotel is almost perfectly located in the centre of Tampere. After arriving in Tampere railway station, you can literally walk to the hotel in less than ten minutes. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff is extremely polite and helpful. I don't know how good English they speak as I naturally spoke Finnish to them. The hotel is very accessible late at night. I only arrived there at 10 PM but this was no problem for the staff. Even though Tampere is a big city by Finnish standards and very busy throughout day and night, there was next to none street noise in my room.

Review 15：The room was not cleaned properly and I had to change room. The food and drinks in the restaurant was way under normal standard. Flat beer without carbon even the second one when the waiter gave me a new one... The chicken was burned and I had to leave half of it and overall it was low standard on the kitchen. The menue looks nice but the kitchen doen´t live up to it.

Review 21：After many hotels via Booking this is my first review to express my great disappointment from this hotel. The receptionist was extremely unpleasant, the room was old and not comfort, the parking cost a lot (€25 per night), the good in the restaurant was very expensive with the smallest dishes ever, the sauna is dirty and the pool even more and with very cold water. This would be my last time on this old chain while I am now in Soko much more happy. Be aware from this hotel. Very expensive and not worth it!

Review 25：There were refurbishments being carried out in the foyer, which we were not made aware of when booking. These were noisy and smelly (paint / adhesive fumes) and meant that the foyer area was cramped. There was also work being carried out on the upper floors. We stayed on floor 7 and could hear banging. When my wife complained about this, the staff denied any knowledge, but said it could be maintenance. The duration of the banging, partcularly on the day of our arrival would suggest the work was more than routine maintenance. The noise meant that it was not possible to truly relax in the room.

Review 84：Parking. There is only a handful of garage spots and they are expensive. We were lucky and stayed during holidays so the town was empty and there was plenty of spots on the streets and they were free due to the holidays.

Review 86：I have been staying in this hotel for many years and I noticed that breakfast deteriorated considreably last year. My last experience made me write these negative words: vegetables were not fresh, the juice machine gave water instead of juice, fruit were sour and green.

Review 91：You need to book parking in advance because we had a problem with that we arrived and no place in the parking lot of the hotel and we park in the main parking of the city that have several exists and its a little bit problematic to find in which exit you need to park. The staff should politely ask them to move on. The hotel could generally do with an update/refreshing and the cost of the car park is too high.

That is a pity for people who wish to swimalso in the end of the day!Too bad the Wifi Internet remains so expensive and has to be payed with credits for the next 24h. Of which more then 80% of that time you are out of the hotel or sleeping :)
