Reviews for Hotel Puerta Nazarí

Review 1:I booked the hotel because of the nice view from the terrace. The terrace was closed while we where there even though the weather was perfect. We were travelling in October.

Review 2:Great place. Nice to have a tour at the cave museum with the best guide ever.

Review 3:The bed are a bit to soft for my taste. No possibility to wash clothes.

Review 4:Little charming hotel with very nice and kind stuff. If you can't speak spanish Eva is your girl!

Review 5:We did not like that when eating in the bar that others were smoking outside with the door open, All the smoke came inside.

Review 6:A good place to start exploring the beauty of the mountains.

Review 7:Great room. Friendly staff. Good half board food and reasonable choice. Excellent value for money. Great Spanish feel to the place and so much improved compared with my last stay there (new management now.)

Review 8:The window in my room and one side of the small attached terrace faced the large gas station/car wash next door so I had to keep my drapes closed due to the light and lack of privacy. Using only the hot water produced warm water. Also, my room was above the kitchen & restaurant and it was noisy until 23:30 or so.

Review 9:The staff at the hotel were very nice, it was very clean, had good free wi fi and the cost was low.

Review 10:Everything. Nothing was too much trouble. They even decorated our bed and arranged a bouquet of flowers at my husband's request when they realised we were celebrating a wedding anniversary. We hope to return.

Review 11:The restaurant was closed and the breakfast and other meals were served in the bar, which was very chilly.

Review 12:Free parking by the main door. Very friendly lady at the reception. Wifi and heating functioning.

Review 13:the bathrooms although very clean showed there age, a chocolate bath suite , a three hole bidet with a monobloc tap fitted on the side, should of updated the bidet

Review 14:the food/ bar

Review 15:Reception was nearly always empty, we had to get the barman to sort out a couple of problems we had. Breakfast was confusing we were given no information on what was supplied as part of B&B

Review 16:It was good location for walking

Review 17:We loved the location. Fantastic scenery. The staff were very friendly especially Eva and we loved her young daughter Clara. Would definitely like to return

Review 18:The decor was awful. And the bath was tiny.

Review 19:Comfy beds. Good powerful shower. Very ameniable to making what you'd like for breakfast. Good dinners in the bar at night.

Review 20:Anyone who dares to book "my" single room 102 if I happen tobe needing it at the same time ;)

Review 21:Eva, Jesus, Jordi, Roberto, Fina et al I've stayed at many a"higher rated" hotel, but none that were cleaner or bettermaintained than Hotel Puerto Nazari Some may notice occasional trafficnoise as it's on the main road, and at the junction of the roadinto the higher Sierras (I haven't in the several weeks I'vestayed here)

Review 22:Nice and clean room. Good parking. Good wifi.

Review 23:The staff

Review 24:Excellent experience. Spotlessly clean. Lovely friendly owner.

Review 25:Next morning extra food with nice smiles from the people that served us!

Review 26:Great great staff!

Review 27:Friendly, very helpful staff, good food, comfortable room, very good shower.

Review 28:Very dated room furnishings and decor

Review 29:Good location

Review 30:The hotel with great staff and the best value for money.

Review 31:Restaurant closed and poor breakfast.

Review 32:Beautiful room with a fabulous view. Just a short walk into the village. Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Great bar and tapas.

Review 33:would have preferred a buffet style breakfast but for the price was more than acceptable

Review 34:made to feel very welcome and all staff were very very helpful ,rooms clean ,superb tapas ,breakfast fresh orange was a treat ...

Review 35:Being given the choice of a smoking room when booking, but then being told it was all non-smoking. The 'balcony' was too small for a comfortable smoke. Breakfast limited to orange juice, toast and one cup of coffee. Fine for me, but don't expect a spread!

Review 36:Late bar. great prices. Easy enough walk into town

Review 37:A few 'spanish' electrics i.e. the odd plug coming out of wall - but quite normal.

Review 38:Fresh orange juice for breakfast. Bedroom arabian themed walls, balcony and view of Sierra Nevada mountains. Location and parking good, just out of town but walkable. Great shower and nice toiletries. Revamped and new ownership about a year ago they just need more clients as everywhere (May 2014) seems quieter than other visits.

Review 39:The breakfast that was included in the room price was served in the bar down stairs . It was not special. It would be ok for one night but we had 4 nights and it was basically toast, fruit juice, and a hot drink. I suggest if the management read this review they also offer some cerial ,fruit and yogurt

Review 40:the staff are friendly and the hotel and rooms have a nice decor and in a good state. My room had a large balcony and the other rooms I could see also had large balconies with views of the mountains

Review 41:Tacky paint job in bedrooms on one wall. They would be better if left white. Also, it would be nice if there was a comfortable chair and a table to sit and write at in each room.

Review 42:Staff and food are great. Bathrooms are a good size and well appointed with good water pressure.

Review 43:No not water, then someone fixed it, but it ran out after a few minutes so I only had a not very warm bath.

Review 44:Clean, welcoming, helpful and responsive staff.

Review 45:Room on small side but balcony with chairs and table a worthwhile extension. A short distance outside the town.

Review 46:Wonderful staff who did all they could to make you welcome. Excellent evening meal (cod, steak) despite being the only 2 dining. Prices very reasonable. Room clean and comfortable.

Review 47:Noisy (next to a major road). Awful decor

Review 48:Breakfast. Friendliness

Review 49:The hotel is on the main street so a bit loud.

Review 50:The staff and rooms were great. We did not eat there but the coffee and beer was fabulous.

Review 51:no real complaints

Review 52:friendly well run hotel

Review 53:View from the balcony on the village and Alpujarras mountains.

Review 54:Breakfast, unable to provide fresh juice and the buffet was poor

Review 55:Clean and comfortable room

Review 56:The staff was wonderful and knowledgeable about the area. The garlic soup at the restaurant is amazing!

Review 57:breakfast rather poor

Review 58:the view Alpugarras

Review 59:nothing

Review 60:The hotel was as good as all the reviews you have it was so good w stayed an extra night.
