Review 1：felt like too many hidden costs, a price was advertised, then when you get there add ons for pets breakfast car and then tax

Review 46：The hotel rooms have all been upgraded and are spacious and clean, lovely big bathroom and main room. Breakfast was excellent and the staff very polite and courteous. Nothing was too much trouble and you could leave your luggage until ready to back on the ferry late in the evening.

Review 48：The integral garage is a boon and saves time and effort walking to an external car park. On arrival one can leave the car knowing it is secure and enjoy exploring the town. The hotel now additionally benefits from the rooms having been redecorated and updated.

Review 55：We chose Hotel du Louvre for its location in Cherbourg and the use of their private garage for €6 per day. This ensured the car and its contents were safe. The hotel is a fifteen minute's pleasant walk from the huge Carrafour supermarket and associated shopping centre. we stayed for two days before the weekly ferry to Dublin so a few short shopping trips on foot ensured a good stock of things to bring home without the hassle of driving and parking downtown. Our room was warm and comfortable in the very cold and damp March weather. The bathroom was huge and efficient and the beds comfortable. A kettle and coffee/tea is in the room. Reception staff are very friendly and helpful and we took breakfast on the two morings we stayed. It is very good and well worth the extra €9 per person. The hotel is situated near several good restaurants at the bottom of the street. Highly recommended.
Review 56：The area that the hotel is situated in is rather run down. It is an ideal place to stay if your main diet consists of kebabs. On line it was 4 star but when we got to it we found that it was 2 star.
