Review 1：Not exactly bad but the hosts could have been a bit more jolly! The locking & unlocking of doors was a little tiresome

Review 5：Oversized safety around the house and in the house for no reason. Cancale is a very safe and quiet city. Looks and feels like a fort. There was an ugly taste in the whole house. It smelled old and we had the impression, that the only fresh air comes in the house when someone opens the main door to enter or leave. We also didn't like the atmosphere. The owners were only in the background and avoided the contact. Other houses and owners were much more friendly, warmer and helpful during our trip. Breakfast was simple with that strange smelling air. They had a "full" Vitel bottle on the table, but with a closer look we could see that it was just filled up with tap water every day. Also the full Nutella glass looked very used and was probabl refilled with something that didn't look like the original. These "tricks" fitted to the whole kind of weird atmosphere.
Review 6：Good location: Close to the city center as well as to the sea. Saint Malo is only 15 km away und the beaches start in about 2.5km. The room itself was nice and clean.

Review 9：Ideal location, short walk from Sea front. About 10- 15 minute walk to front and a step incline coming back.Secure property to leave bikes safely. Lovely hosts and B & B. Hosts speak a little English but not a problem, hosts show you where everything is and how things work, easy to understand. Perfect for overnight stop or a long weekend.
Review 10：Communal breakfast table is a bit difficult when everyone speaks a different language. Communication with hosts quite difficult, got by with my school French. Toilet in a cupboard a bit odd.

Review 37：The gated, somewhat sterile and pretentious mansion in the middle of a neighborhood, the supermarket/packaged ordinary breakfast. None of the charm, warm hospitality and effort with food --- particularly in France-- that one has come to expect from B & B's.

It would have been helpful to know that parking in Cancale is a nightmare, and the only thing that made sense was to walk. The room was adequate and clean. It included a basically appointed kitchen which would be good for a more than one night stay.
