Reviews for Hotel Restaurant l'Arbre Vert
Review 1:Very weak wifi in our room - often unusable Need hooks in bathroom, closet, near door Little privacy due to need to keep windows open on very hot days & nights
Review 2:Location. The look. Access to town. Parking. Pictures of defunct air conditioners.
Review 3:...however, at the nearby restaurants wine is probably better )) Nothing special to complain but nothing to admire. And WiFi was not even detected in our room: helpfully, we did not need it too much those couple of days.
Review 4:Very nice and pleasant staff. The house and museum of Albert Schweitzer is just next door. Good wine at the bar...
Review 5:Nothing, except maybe that the restaurant is nor as special as it used to be. But that seems to be the trend in Alsace: most restaurants now offer the same regional dishes at the same prices. There used to be more variations and pleasant surprises!
Review 6:The hotel has been modernized and now has spacious and comfortable rooms with good showers. The location in the heart of Kaysersberg could not be better. Staff is as friendly as they used to be! And ample parking space right outside.
Review 7:Easy to walk around the town and very nice architecture. The castle above is worth the stroll - views all a round. Hotel is well located and has a lovely breakfast room.
Review 8:Nonchalant staff. Misunderstanding regarding additional 25€/night for 8 yr old. Room had a sofa - no bed had to be brought in Also we were asked about breakfast and understood it was included - said yes even though some preferred only coffee. Yes, little English was spoken which was difficult.
Review 9:Good location off the busiest street Charming exterior and completely modern interior. Nice breakfast even though we didn't know it was extra. 2 Grandparents, 2 Parents and 8 yr old child.
Review 10:Food just not what it used to be but lots of places to go our to
Review 11:Very nice hotel and lovely room, just beware of the market on Monday mornings if you are on the front, but not over noisy
Review 12:only restaurant staff available for check in/out and they did not speak English; couldn't figure out how to use wifi and no info provided

Review 28:Staff very peasant. Rooms very comfortable and spacious.
Review 29:There are many other litlle cities around that would be a better choice to stay.
Review 30:The breakfast and the frontdesk workers.
Review 31:Staff welcoming and helpful. Great situation near to restaurants and bars.Good base for visiting the Wine Route.Rooms clean and modern.
Review 32:not much to dislike
Review 33:excellent dinner
Review 34:For the price we expected a kettle & tea/coffee facilities in the room or free in part of the reception. A room safe should also be provided for the price.
Review 35:Room comfortable, quiet but then the hotel bar etc was closed for 2 nights. Can't comment on the breakfast as we were re-directed. Parking easy & nice walks about.
Review 36:we stayed at the hotel in January 2014. Our room (#7, Superior Double) had a a great view of the castle ruins and overlooked the hotel courtyard to the rear of the property. The room was spacious, well furnished, very clean and quiet (both day & night). The hotel is located on the edge of the old town - so it is a quick walk to anywhere in that area. Ther is a public car park in front of the hotel that cost EUR2.00 per day. We never had any problems finding a parking spot - although it could be a different situation on the town's market day.
Review 37:Nothing!!
Review 38:Rooms, while modern were loely and spacious and spotlessly clean. Extremely friendly and congenial staff, ready for assistance at all times. The restaurant at the hotel served tasty, regional food with an excellent wine selection--and all priced quite reasonably. Convenient parking. An excellent experience.
Review 39:Good sized room with modern facilities, with a public car park in front of hotel. The hotel is in the old town and everything you want to see in the town is an easy walk.
Review 40:It was very hot, and no air conditioning. Our room was at the front ofthe hotel and it was very noisy, with an open air theatre a few yardsaway until 11:30 pm, and the market being set up for Monday morning at5:30am. Not their fault, but travellers beware.
Review 41:The location was perfect with easy parking, and a leisurely stroll fromone end of the old town.
Review 42:Shower in bath with no shower curtain and no anti-slip mat. Breakfast adequate but over-priced, not good value. On the chef's days off (Mon and Tues) restaurant service and atmosphere poor.
Review 43:Very good location with a free parking lot in front of the hotel. Large room, well-equipped. Restaurant has very pleasant service and good atmosphere when the chef is on duty.
Review 44:All was good.
Review 45:The hotel has a nice location and a pleasant restaurant with good regional food. Parking was very convenient --- right across the street.
Review 46:We would have preferred the option of softer lighting in the bedroom. The main lighting was a little stark. Also an additional form oflighting in the bathroom would have been useful.
Review 47:The Abre Vert was authentic and although in an older traditionalproperty the renovations had been completed to a very high standard. Therestaurant had a wonderful ambience and the food was superb. The staffwere very friendly and although parking was chargeable in the townsquare it was just across the road.
Review 48:Breakfast is expensive and you can hardly find alternative outside. Restaurant is quite mediocre.
Review 49:Picturesque town, Nice hotel, spacious room, cheap parking
Review 50:Restaurant food was okay for dinner. Nothing spectacular. Breakfast was decent, but not much to speak of. Probably best off to eat in town.
Review 51:We were upgraded due to the room that we booked being full. Very nice room on top floor. Staff was quite nice.
Review 52:The common areas (restaurant, bar) need to be refurbished and upgraded to the same level as the rooms
Review 53:Room (suite) recently refurbished, sleek and stylish bathroom, spacious and nice view over the old village
Review 54:B-fast is served late, 800hrs
Review 55:The parking in front of the hotel, the food and the selection of good wines
Review 56:Very nice spacious room at front of hotel. Good breakfast. No allocatedparking but hotel fronts on to public parking at 2 Euros a day.

Review 62:Convenient location in Kaysersberg. Inexpensive parking across the street. Rooms comfortable, but not luxurious.
Review 63:- no AC (it was a hot day and night) - Restaurant in the Hotel is at night a Meeting Point for Teenagers
Review 64:Rooms were nice and we had a good time
Review 65:Nothing
