Reviews for Le Saint Louis
Review 1:No parking. At check in none explained us how to connect to wifi and after 8 pm there is none to ask to.
Review 2:The room was clean and very spacious. The hotel is very central.
Review 3:Bad arrival experience, found hotel shuts from midday on a Sunday! No one to greet us. Had to speak on an intercom to get the door code; hard to hear the number on a busy street!!! Felt anxious that night about what we'd do if there was a fire as the only exit was the staircase and there were no staff. The lady manning Reception the next morning didn't speak English - not acceptable in this day and age in the hospitality industry!
Review 4:Clean. Location. Parking free on Sunday.
Review 5:No problems
Review 6:Staff very welcoming. Hotel easy to find. Parking nearby safe and reasonably priced. City centre location near cathedral and station with good range of restaurants within walking distance. Amiens is a pleasant city with canals lined with inviting bars and is a good place for a short stay en route before the long drives required to reach the south or to visit the First World War battle sites.
Review 7:On our second day, after returning from a day trip to the battlefields, our bags and personal belongings had been packed up by the staff and moved to another room. The reason stated was they allocated our room to another customer! I found it to be a gross invasion of privacy, having a stranger pack my belongings up and move them without my consent. Needless to say, I promptly asked for our room back and conveyed my displeasure.
Review 8:our room was bright and clean, recently renovated, and spacious for our family.
Review 9:Tea coffee facilities in room poor 2 plastic cups which weren't replenished No milk Water pressure from taps very slow
Review 10:Location ideal Near to shops sights of Amiens
Review 11:Friendly accommodating staff. Kept late breakfast open for Australian guests returning from dawn service at Villers-Bretonneux. Close to railway station. Short walk to the restaurant area.
Review 12:Having travelled to location found hotel closed being refurbished with no notice at all being left to find alternative rooms for 7 people at great expense not happy
Review 13:Showering is awkward without even just a cheap shower curtain. Hot water was fine though, never had to wait long. I never got WiFi in my room, it only worked fine in the lobby though.
Review 14:Good for a 2-star. Lovely staff.
Review 15:Difficulty checking in as digicode for entry had not been received. No housekeeping over a 3-night stay: towels not changed and bed not made. Initially poor response from young lady in charge. Wifi frequently times out and gave out completely on our last evening.
Review 16:Location really is great. Quiet. Within 5 mins of cathedral, shops and restaurants. Management dealt positively with our observations at check-out.
Review 17:It is hard to find a parking place especialy after 9 pm. Please, check where/when it is available.
Review 18:Staff is so kind, hotel is near to amien cathedral.
Review 19:The location was very close to the centre of Amiens. I found car parking overnight opposite the hotel and free day time parking within 100 metres. Staff were very friendly and the room was comfortable. Despite the warning notice, hot water did not take long to arrive at all.
Review 20:Everything about the place, great attentive and friendly well trained staff. Great location for centre of Amiens.

Review 44:step dangerous up to shower.
Review 45:lovely staff great breakfast thank you Merci Madam I liked visiting your Hotel Jill Bryant and will recommend you!
Review 46:We were stunned to discover that the hotel happily accepted our booking (and payment), and then sent us a followup email with the code for the door and left us to it!! No one - not a single soul - was in the hotel the night of our booking; We groped around in the darkness, after a long road trip, laden with our baggage and looking after our blind adult son, and clambered up the impressive (well, it might have been if there was electricity) to our room. Clean, bare but quite acceptable under normal situations. Certainly no frills, such as a kettle or even glasses to drink from; just plastic cups in bathroom. There was a note left in bathroom, indicating that we must wait for the hot water to reach the room. Well, it did - eventually - but only as far as the basin, never made it to the shower at all. We had cold showers. Room and bathroom have been recently upgraded, in a charming but very spare and very simple fashion. Lighting was minimal.Even the next morning there was no one around - no breakfast even if we'd wanted to chance it - only one fellow who arrived to take our money, then vanished. We closed the door on an empty hotel.Adventure as this might have been labelled, it is very wrong of the hoteliers to accept a booking when they know that no one, not a single soul, is going to be in the hotel for the night. We still find ourselves amazed, and surely safety standards etc should preclude this kind of occurrence. We were given parking instructions for a night park a few blocks away. There was no apology, no explanatory note etc for this most odd situation, certainly no discount! (not that that would have helped the problems we faced). If one is to run an hotel, it behoves one to maintain a presence and some staff on the premises at all times, I should think.
Review 47:Wifi didn't work and staff couldn't rectify it. Bathroom old and tired looking, with unbelievably noisy lavatory! Breakfast OK, but a bit sparse. Parking is a problem nearby.
Review 48:Very good location and friendly and charming staff.
Review 49:The WIFI was difficult to connect and I could only connect one device. No cheese or ham for breakfast but there were plenty of everything else.
Review 50:Excellent location for the Fair. Comfortable beds and very friendly staff.
Review 51:Shower head was broken off so had to hold it.
Review 52:Very friendly host and very helpful. We arrived very late so she wasnt around but had everything organised for us includng a map with a few things marked on it. Amazing location, walking distance to everything in the main par of town including train station and Cathedral! Highly recommond.
Review 53:No direct hotel parking. However, free parking is available on the streets around the hotel BUT to guarantee free on-street parking visitors need to be aware that during office hours most free spaces around the inner ring road taken up by commuters, but after 6.30pm spaces close to the hotel (within 75 yards NOT immediately outside) become available. Until then park where a space can be found (don't bee too fussy about distance) and be prepared to walk to the hotel - maybe half a mile or more. Amiens centre is small, so not a major issue. Secure parking is available for a price but this too is half a mile away.
Review 54:Very close to the historical centre; we had the 'disabled' room even though we are not; large bathroom/wet room, excellent shower (could have sat under that for hours!); quiet room, no extraneous noise; warm welcome from staff and nothing was too much trouble.
Review 55:Parking in central Amiens is impossible. We drove around for a good 20minutes before finding a spot about five blocks from the hotel. Verynearly left without even checking in.
Review 56:Nice welcome on arrival, pleasant room with everything needed for a onenight stay. Location good for seeing the old city and for railtravellers.
Review 57:Hand held shower a little difficult to manage.
Review 58:Great location for visiting Amiens & Somme. Staff were very helpful & friendly. No outside noise in our room at the rear of hotel.
Review 59:very dingy room lit by only two wall lights with low energy bulbs. No stand for the suitcase. No drawers. No fan. Only one ceiling light in bathroom. Lights above bathroom mirror not working. Toilet in need of a strong stain remover to clean aroung the bend. Breakfast adequate but sparce.
Review 60:Reasonable location. Room size.
Review 61:Everything Hotel was old, grubby and generally a bit shabby. Staff were rude and every time I saw them I was asked in very abrupt English when I would be paying. I was also 'told off' for not checking in (reception was closed when we arrived)
Review 62:For a 2 star hotel or was to expensive, the bathroom water was brown and gritty, the breakfast did not look value for money
Review 63:I thought the hotel was in a good location the morning receptionist was pleasant.

Review 66:I really enjoyed my stay at Le Saint Louis. Great location, lovely staff and the room was simple but clean. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.
Review 67:No parking in front of the hotel to leave the luggages. Carpet smelly in the room. We were at the last room on the third floor and the wify was quite low signal
Review 68:The position very closed to the center. Staff very friendly and supportive. Room big and comfortable. Free parking closed to the hotel
Review 69:The bed was rather short (I'm 172cm and my toes reached the end of the bed...) and due to an old matress (?) made a creeping sound everytime I moved. We did not take breakfast as we found it too expensive for what it seemed.
Review 70:Its location is superb and free parking was available in a street nearby. A map of the city and lots of touristic brochures could be found in the hotel. The manager was very friendly and helpful too.
Review 71:The electric toilet in room 22 - sounded like a rocket launching! Logging in to the wifi with new codes everytime you came back to the hotel and codes needed for separate devices: ipad/iphone.
Review 72:Beds very comfortable Staff very friendly Free parking very close Location ideal
Review 73:The blanket was very old. A new style duvet would be much better. Soapin the room was missing. The breakfast was very expensive for somethingquite simple. The wifi code would only let me use one device so Icouldn't update my phone.
Review 74:The woman on the desk was extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfastroom was pleasant and the service very friendly. It is very welllocated. The room was spacious and nicely decorated.
Review 75:We were told there would be someone there before noon on Sat, however nostaff was found when we arrived at 11:45. The toilet in our roomdidn't flush, and we had to use their toilet in the lobby.
Review 76:The location was ok.
Review 77:The room was a little chilly until the heater kicked in. The toilet because of the pump system a little noisy so that you felt you might be disturbing others at night.
Review 78:Helpful and freindly staff. Good location. Certainly value for money.
Review 79:No parking, but you can stop the close street for a while and to usepublic parking 5 minutes walk
Review 80:Le personnel est très poli et serviable. Emplacement еxcellent pourfaire du tourisme. Chambres propres et confortablesVery polite and helpful staff. Еxcellent location for sightseeing. Clean and comfortable rooms
