Hotel Madlein

Hotel Madlein descritpion
One of the most beautiful designed hotels in the Alps, this hotel in the sunniest spot in Ischgl offers fantastic cuisine, excellent service and a world-famous nightclub.
Combining cool stone with minimalistic Zen design, Hotel Madlein features comfortable Laura Ashley-style rooms with balcony and a bathroom designed by Philippe Starck.
First-class spa facilities await you in the spa area. The Beauty Spa offers facials and massages. There is a swimming pool guests can enjoy the fascinating view of the Tyrolean mountains. There is also a Finnish log cabin sauna outdoors, as well as an outdoor hot tub surrounded by torches (in winter only).
The heart of the hotel is the cocktail bar with its open fireplace. In the restaurant you can admire one of the largest aquariums in Tyrol.
Half-board includes a rich breakfast buffet and a 5-course gourmet dinner. The meals are accompanied by first-class wines from the hotel's wine cellar and fine Cuban cigars are offered.
With its 2 in-house bars and clubs, the Pacha and the Coyote Ugly, Hotel Madlein lives up to its reputation at the party hot spot of Ischgl. The Pacha is an exclusive club known for its high density of celebrities.
Cable cars and ski slopes are just 300 ft away and can be comfortably reached with the underground escalator. The cable cars will take guests into the Silvretta Arena ski area, with 1.5 miles of slopes and guaranteed snow cover from early December to early May. Ski passes are available at the front desk. Ski and snowboarding equipment is available for rent at the hotel.
The hotel's Hummer stretch limousine for up to 8 people can be rented. It is also available for shuttle service from the airports (Innsbruck, Munich, Salzburg, Zurich, or Friedrichshafen) or a train station. An underground parking garage is available on site.
As of summer 2013, the Silvretta All Inclusive Card will be included in all rates during summer season. It offers free use of cable cars in the region, of the buses from Landeck to Bielerhöhe, and free access to the indoor and outdoor pools and to the lake in the Paznaun Valley.

Reviews for Hotel Madlein
Review 1:The privacy of the wash-area was a bit lacking. Also, the wifi required login everytime you were away from the network. Finally, understanding the mark-up, in my opinion, the wine was at a premium price-point.
Review 2:The location was fantastic with direct access to the lifts and town center. From check-in to check-out, the service was first rate. The room was beautiful with a great view of the Alps. The meals provided half-pension were excellent.
Review 3:Breakfast was ok however dinner could have been vastly improved upon.
Review 4:The facilities were good and the staff were friendly and efficient. The location is very good. The room I stayed in was old and in need of some repair.
Review 5:Bed is a bid hard, but I'm used to soft waterbed, so depends on your preference i think.
Review 6:Best hotel in Ischgl - everything is done very nicely in this hotel and super service from the reception. short walk to ski lift and best after ski place in town. super relaxing
Review 7:Bathroom tiny, no separate shower, difficult to fight your way into the bath with folding screens and tap in the middle. No shower cap. Needed dressing table mirror in room. Stayed 7 years ago and think the accessories/decor in reception could be changed now for a "designer" hotel.
Review 8:Lovely spacious room, comfortable bed, good view. Quiet. Good ski hire and ski room.Receptionists very helpful. Interesting spa facilities.
Review 9:Whilst the hotel was pleasant the room was small and old fashioned. The other problem is that the hotel was full of Russians who were noisy and discourteous. Glass of fresh Orange juice 13 euros ouch !
Review 10:Whilst the hotel was friendly and efficient, it was expensive. The food was excellent and the service top class.
Review 11:The food and the restaurant staff are very bad and thats will encourage guests not to come back!
Review 12:I liked the spa,the location !is a luxury hotel and can be a 5 stars but pitty the food and the stuff are so bad!
Review 13:small cramped room, room amenities (definitely not 5 star), food 3 star at best, service personnel generally has no clue about anything
Review 14:location, lobby ambiance, outdoor spa

Review 30:The spa is wonderful, dinner is excellent and the staff is very helpful. Highly recommended!
Review 31:Very warm staff great design hotel.
Review 32:Smell of tobacco smoke everywhere. Fire doors propped open so smoke percolated upstairs to bedroom floors and even in to our room from the bar. The swimming pool was the only part of the hotel that didn't smell of smoke. Very last century..........
Review 33:Excellent staff and facilities. We hired really nice skis from the hotel store. Hotel is literally an escalator ride from the lift. Evening meals good choice and really well presented
Review 34:For claiming to be the only "design" hotel in the Alps, it ceratianly fails to impress in that aspect.
Review 35:The room was spacious, we liked the spa facilities very much and complementary diner and breakfast were excellent.
Review 36:Room was not that high level as other parts of hotel. Caffee and tee at room missing. Common terrase with neighbours. Dog (belonging to hotel)without governance, jumping on guests. Jar with the water next to sauna missing.
Review 37:Wellness was very nice. We loved the food. Towels and slippers at room.
Review 38:the design room it;s verry expensive and for that price it's to liitle .
Review 39:verry good breakfest , dinner also , nice outdoor pool , verry good ski facilities, location near ski lifts
Review 40:There was a lot of smoking going on in the hotel. Not only is this an health hazard, but it also makes your clothes smell. We would have preferred no smoking in the public areas.
Review 41:The food was excellent as were the staff. we also enjoyed the hot tub and swimming pool.
Review 42:This hotel together with Booking.com practice UNETHICAL business culture. I've search for a 1 person room on Booking.com & Madlein hotel was recommended. In the end, they charge me for 2 persons rate & not only that, they had a 100% surcharge on Xmas day which was NEVER highlighted nor informed in anyway. I feel complete CHEATED.
Review 43:Extras are too much expensive, we have to pay tap water, the normalwines had an understanding price, 6 per cent charge to buy ski passes.
Review 44:The dinner and the breakfast was very good The spa also, the restaurantstaff was very kind.
Review 45:Nothing, other than charge for a tap water (the bill said fresh Ischglwater and they charged fot it :) )
Review 46:We enjoyed our stay at Madlein and it was money well spent! The hotelhad very friendly and helpfull staff, excellent gourmet dinners, as wellas breakfast and a great location. Our room was very comfortable, thespa with outside sauna and jaccuzzi was also excellent. The hotel hadeverything what upscale skier needs, would for sure stay here again andwould recommend to others!!!
Review 47:This was a four star hotel however the rooms barely made a three star rating. Too much has been spent on the reception area and bar and nothing to upgrade the rooms to the same standard. Smoking was also permitted in the public areas which in this day and age is not acceptable. I can not recommend a stay at this hotel as it does not represent value for money.
Review 48:Location was superb as it was next to the ski lift.
Review 49:Wines selection was good but only mid to high end prices.
Review 50:Restaurant and public areas were excellent
Review 51:Old rooms, old bathroom, old furnitures, crowded restaurant, bad price service ratio.
Review 52:Good Location, nice Wellness, very good Food.
Review 53:Expensive
