Review 5:Thanks for the great stay. Stopped here on first blast from Cherbourg. Only 2 1/2 hours. Motorbike friendly Lovely grounds Nice breakfast
Review 6:Everyone should start their trip to France here. We can't say enough about this tranquil, peaceful location, set within the historic and beautiful grounds of a manor house which is also another hotel. The owner, Frank, and his family have nurtured and built it up themselves with a passion for it that only they could have. They are now amongst our first French friends. They are truly lovely people that went out of the way to please, including going out and getting food for us as we are vegan. The gardens offer wonderful nature. A true oasis pine woodland with a variety of beautiful trees including horse chestnut and weeping willows, carefully cared for roses and other flowers. Horses next door and plenty of birds ducks and ducklings and night birds even bats and rabbits. Extremely clean and fully wheelchair accessible with big rooms for a truly amazing price I could have lived here and honestly felt at home and was sad to leave. I can't thank them enough for re-energising us for France. Mathew from Britain. Quality and the best value for money hotel yet.
Review 7:We just love everything there. The location is quiet and beautiful. The staff is helpful especially the manager is a very nice person. The whole hotel has been newly 're decorated. Just an excellent stay .

Review 10:beautifull landscape slept like a baby
Review 11:It's hard tot keep anything dry in the bathroom when taking a shower. The breakfast buffet had only one croissant for the two of us.
Review 12:The shawer was almost broken
Review 13:Nice place
Review 14:Beautiful location and friendly staff who were great with the kids.
Review 15:First rate welcome - extremely professional discrete service.
Review 16:Wifi a little unreliable
Review 17:Quiet, secluded location. Good breakfast, very helpful staff. Close to main road for connections to Rennes or Fougeres.
Review 18:Everything, but especially the great staff's cordiality, help and professionality. Really astonshing and hard to find, nowadays.
Review 19:Hard to find. Very out of the way. Used to be an assisted living place. Needs to be used for something like this again. Not appropriate for biz travellers. Rooms were brand-new redeco'd. No power outlet by the desk. Bathrooms were modular, plastic, set up for someone ole or handicapped - not upscale. Downright creepy and not "right". Might be good for B&B - but it's got too many rooms. Suggest they make it a country-side retreat or rehab clinic. Proprietor had no facility for accepting credit cards. Had to follow him into town to get to an ATM. Staff (Proprietor, his wife, and his daughter) were friendly, to the point of distraction - no "hospitality" skills - just some folks trying to make an effort. Makes the guest feel off-put. They've clearly opened this joint before it is ready for "prime-time".
Review 20:Nice countryside location. Facility was brand new (refurb'd). Decor was very nice. Beds were a good sleep.
