Review 2:Excellent location for visiting the wineries. Lovely walk through the vineyards from the door. Lovely friendly couple, very helpful with planning our excursions. Wonderful wine and food. Brilliant being able to use kitchen and table outside for meals. Bedroom and bathroom fantastic. Real highlight of our trip.
Review 3:Loved everything!
Review 4:L'accueil, les chambres, la piscine, le lieu, les petits déjeuners, la dégustation de vin, l'accès à la cuisine et le calme... The welcoming owner, the rooms, the swimming pool, the location, the breakfasts, the wine tasting, access to the kitchen and the quiet setting...
Review 5:Would have preferred a double bed instead of two singles.
Review 6:A lovely gite, in a working vineyard. Hosts couldn't do enough for us. Pretty, tranquil setting.
Review 7:Nil.
Review 8:We stayed for 3 nights at Chateau TiFayne and could not recommend it more highly. In particular if you are looking for a local experience around the wine producing St Emilion region. The location is about 40 mins drive from downtown Bordeaux. A car (or bike) is necessary from here. Hosts were magnificent and went out of there way to assist with all our needs, and the private tasting was excellent.
Review 9:Bumped my head on the beam running across the room several times, but I'm 6'4".
Review 10:Peaceful, wonderful restoration of house, in the middle of vines (satellite of St. Emilion).
Review 11:The amenities, a swimming pool and free access to the high standard kitchen meant it could have been used as a self catering base. Owners were extremely welcoming. Everything was well designed and spotless.
Review 12:Only booking for 1 night!
Review 13:The friendly welcome, winetasting (good red wine!), attention to detail and very accomodating hosts, especially Franciszka. Room was full of charachter - wooden beams, comfortable bed, lovely bathroom. All spotless. Good breakfast too.
Review 14:I cannot describe this experience other than simply the best. You get: comfortable and modern/stylish bedroom; private vine tasting with no extra cost; wonderful breakfast and most important – very warm bighearted hosts. You made our family short stay here unforgettable.
Review 15:Perfect location, near St. Emilion. Beautiful place. House has been adapted to have all the little comforts, while maintaining the rustic feel. Other properties similar to these are oversaturated with objects and strong chemical air freshers, here you'll find none of that, everything is just as it should be, no need to mask odors and such. The owners are very welcoming, helpful and interesting people, without being intrusive or overbearing. Plus, the breakfast is by far the best one I've had. (I've stayed in 4 different b&b in the area, all with 9+ ratings). Quite amazing.
Review 16:I only wish we had more time in the area! We must return again!
Review 17:We can't say enough good things about our stay at b and b Tifanye!Francisca and Renaud are the most wonderful, kind, and gracious hosts. Iam still thankful to them both for a truly magnificent stay! We had suchan enlightening wine tasting experience with Francisca and produceddirectly by Renaud! It was such a highlight for us all. We learned somuch. I celebrated my 40th birthday while here and will always have aspecial memory in my heart for this wonderful family and their gorgeousfarm. You will never find a cleaner b and b! Also, take Renaud's tipon driving/parking in Bordeaux! It saved us much money and was soconvenient! We hope to return again and would highly recommend it to ourfriends. Thank you Francisca and Renaud!
Review 18:Renaud and his wife were superb hosts, offering us a free wine tasting before we left. The continental breakfast was superb, with lots of choice. Everywhere was spotless and beautifully furnished. The area around St Emilion is very pretty and well worth a visit. I would definitely recommend this delightful B & B if you want a brilliant time in the region. Our thanks go to Renaud for posting our mobile, which we inadvertently left in our room, back to us at no charge.
Review 19:Very relaxing, facilities to prepare meals. Felt authentic as employee of owners couldn't speak English which added to the atmosphere, ie not in another chain hotel. The pool was perfect after a day driving around the region. Host was lovely and welcoming.
Review 20:everything is really great place and the owners are very nice and attentive! Its just wonderful

Review 40:The atmosphere and the excellent hosys
Review 41:Nothing not to like.
Review 42:Everything. Location, hostess, wine tasting, the room, the wines, the pool, breakfast....
Review 43:A beautiful location with such kind and friendly owners who went out of their way to give us local information, and help us with our varied questions and requests in English and French. A great breakfast spread, they also make delicious wine as this is a vineyard and gave us a wonderful tasting experience. One hundred percent recommended.
Review 44:It was an absolutely beautiful location with wonderful B&B owners. After having spent a week in Paris, dealing with the crowds and noise of the city, it was a very welcome relaxing stay. The owners were very helpful in making reservations for us whether it was for dinner or tours in St Emilion. We enjoyed every minute of our time there and were sad to leave after only 2 nights stay.
Review 45:I couldn't stay longer.
Review 46:Lovely and charming estate. Owners are charming too, not to mention extremely friendly and accommodating. The room is large and clean...and best of all, no television, giving you the peace to absorb every molecule of the quaint atmosphere and the company that you are with.
Review 47:Nothing, everything was perfect and according our expectations.
Review 48:Very nice and friendly owners, willing to help and give tips about the region. Extremely clean, decent internet connection (WiFi). Excellent breakfast, and, of course, good wine !
Review 49:The place is amazing situated in the heart of the vineyards. Very nice host and the rooms are genuine with a high standard. The breakfast was a pleasure.
Review 50:Some internet conectivity issues.. Always addressed and resolved
Review 51:Winemaker host was informative and interesting.. Great aperitif, great breakfast, friendly and more than accomadating. Nice tour of the winemaking facilities there and very helpful on restaurants..
Review 52:A comment on the location: for us the location was perfect, exactly what we were looking for. Libourne and St Emilion are only 10_15 min drive away, BUT there is nothing in walking distance. If you want to be able to walk to shops and restaurants, this location will not suit. If you are looking for a family owned vineyard surrounded by fields it is perfect!
Review 53:Everything! Welcoming and knowledgeable hosts, who speak most major European languages, English fluently. Beautifully appointed, comfortable rooms. Free use of kitchen. Breakfast featuring home made goodies. Nice wines at a reasonable price. Lovely all round.
Review 54:Time too short!
Review 55:This will be our home whenever we travel to Bordeaux. Its location is great if you want to be away from the crowds but close to the wineries on the right bank, and St-Emillion is only minutes away. Quiet peaceful surroundings in the midst of vineyards, the night skyline silhoutted by the distant glow of Bordeaux, and beautiful accommodation. The rooms are extremely well fitted out and detailed, and furnished with interesting artwork and furniture. The kitchen that is available to all guests is roomy and equipped with all you need. But best of all is the warm and generous treatment that you get from both Francisca and Renaud. Could not want for better.
Review 56:Could not fault it
Review 57:Excellent B & B situated in a quiet spot surrounded by vineyards. Friendly and helpful hosts and first class bedroom. Lovely breakfasts and a short drive for somewhere to eat in the evenings.
Review 58:nothing
Review 59:wonderful hosts, wine tastings, location on vineyard fabulous, able to use kitchen and facilities, very reasonable, wine very good. Our second visit and will be returning. Very warm welcome, hosts can not do enough for their guests.
Review 60:Good accommodation, very friendly owners, quiet, good-sized kitchen if you wanted to cook your evening meal and only a 10 minute drive from St. Emilion.
Review 61:Great Location close to all the wineries of the St. Emilion Area. Verynice couple running the B&B and also working a full time vineyard.Breakfast breads and Jams were wonderful. They went all out to make ourstay comfortable and provided suggestions on places to go anddirections.
