Reviews for Au Coeur du Village

Review 1:WIFI- I had to log in every time i wanted to use the internet. Little else to dislike!!

Review 2:ease of transfer, wonderful breakfast. Superb location. Great staff

Review 3:not much !

Review 4:Room, ambience, ski shop/store and ability to walk two minutes to lifts, concierge (great - Damien - take his recommendations for dinner), food (but would have been too fine for every night - one night superb)

Review 5:The hotel really needs to speak to their IT department and tell them to change the Wifi settings. We were disconnected every time the device was left idle for more than 30 seconds and we had to re-enter the username and password every time! So frustrating. I complained to reception but nobody ever came back to us to sort.

Review 6:Pretty much everything apart from the Wifi connection which was very important when trying to keep in touch with my business.

Review 7:Super friendly, english speaking staff. Spa and beautiful indoor pool.

Review 8:Gorgeous building in the heart of la clusaz, great location 2 mins walk from ski lift. Very helpful staff, lovely room, great spa!

Review 9:Staff non professional , wifi connection not stable

Review 10:We liked everything

Review 11:Pure luxury for us as we left our little boy at home with the grandparents to enjoy our 3 day honeymoon. Spa facilities were amazing, decor tasteful, rooms luxurious and food exquisite!

Review 12:Restaurant food was good but overpriced and menu was limited.

Review 13:Room was very comfortable and tastefully furnished and had v comfy bed - spa bath great too. Massage good but expensive.

Review 14:The only thing that could be different (but in no way spoilt our stay) was availability of kid friendly meals - the restaurant was definitely fine dining which for a couple of nights was fine but a bit OTT if staying longer

Review 15:Nothing was too much trouble - a splendid hotel with great attention to detail

Review 16:The WIFI was slow and we kept having to logon. The food, although exceptional was very expensive

Review 17:The service, location and cleanliness were exceptional

Review 18:Bathroom only had a shower over the bath. There was enough space in the bathroom to have a separate shower and a hotel of this standard really should have a separate bath and shower. Room had plenty of cupboard shelf space but less than 30cm of hanging space in the wardrobe. We arrived early before our room was ready, we didn't expect it to be and this was not a problem. Concierge took our bags and our phone number so that we could could be told when the room was ready and assured us that the bags would be taken to our room. Several hours later having not had any calls we returned to be told that the room was now ready but the bags had not been delivered to the room. A minor inconvenience, I know, but when paying €460 a night I don't expect any inconvenience. Hotel is very nice but is over priced as is the restaurant (€50 for a steak), there are plenty of reasonably priced restaurants to be found in the village so we didn't eat there.

Review 19:Good size room and bathroom, comfortable and well equipped. Very good housekeeping, room serviced twice a day. Nice pool/spa area, pool a nice temperature. Good location in village.

Review 20:The meal at the main restaurant "Le 5" was disgusting... I guess it is one of those times when the chief is just 0. 50euro for 50gr burnt meat with burnt potato on the side...how can a chief that respects himself serve such a failure dish... Don't recommend to waste your time in this rest unless they change the chief... Better visit "La Ferme" - perfect Restaurant(not in the Hotel).

Review 21:The staff were super friendly and competent. The Hotel is new and has a great interior design. Location is perfect. Spa zone is good, just if the pool water was warmer it would be perfect.

Review 22:Bad internet, low speed, whatsApp and Viber did not work - management, do something! Sauna was too cold for me, breakfast for such price must provide better selection (pancakes, porridge).

Review 23:Perfect service, comfortable spacious and clean room, beautiful view from room, good hammam and pool, high level meals in restaurant, good selection of wines, good and reasonably priced lunch menu, ski service, 2 area cabin lifts 100 m away.

Review 24:This hotel represents the poorest value for money I have ever experienced. Not that it is bad quality. It is simply very overpriced for it offers

Review 25:Location

Review 26:breakfast in the room wasn't exactly what I wanted to order, so some confusion there, but still nice overall

Review 27:nice cosy room with wooden panels, spa bath, good restaurant, nice staff, relaxing spa with view on the mountains

Review 28:The wifi was slow whatsApp did not work

Review 29:Perfect service comfortable room

Review 30:nothing

Review 31:everything

Review 32:Staff were so friendly and helpful

Review 33:The breakfast. The restaurant. The overall stuffiness. Ghost town and nothing to do.

Review 34:The fit-out. The spa.

Review 35:Pool too cold

Review 36:It's all fantastic Best hotel I have stayed in

Review 37:The location was great and it is close to the ski
