Hotel Goldener Löwe sells fast on our site. The "Goldener Löwe" (“Golden Lion”) is situated in the center of Kufstein, right across from the fortress, the symbol of the town, and only a short walk from the train station.

Review 1：Insufficient room for clothes in our room and yet a lot of room for clothes in my daughter's room

Review 2：Pleasant area ideal for exploring. Large comfortable room. Friendly welcome and very good breakfasts.

Review 3：Very nice location within the city centre of Kufstein. Friendly and helpful staff. Even so the room was next to the street, we could not hear any cars. The beds are comfortable, especially the warm blankets. We arrived sadly too late for trying out the new wellness area. Morning breakfast buffet was more than sufficient for us and we liked it very much that you can order eggs to your liking. So you get them freshly prepared. What a great start into a new day.

Review 4：WiFi is a nightmare, there is a "Golden Loewe" ssid all overbut there is no connection in it. WiFi only works on some parts of the1st floor! Breakfast is really basic, you often have to wait forrefills, some staff doesn't speak other languages than German. Wemade a reservation for 4 people, 2 adults and 2 teenagers, but thechildren's bed was very very small. The neighboring building wasbeing renovated, every morning we woke up to the machine's noise.

Review 6：The Hotel accepts smoking in the diner room with the result that the stinch of cigarettes smoke was horrible and every where. A very nice Hotel, but as long they accept smoking as they do we never gonna put our feet there again.

Review 7：All the friendly 'Löwen- Team' - everyone was cheerful and helpful and made my birthday celebration perfect. The location was great to relax and explore the surrounding areas on our first visit there. We certainly hope to stay again.

I was checked in by some sort of waiter in a hurry. tv was very archaic and badly positioned, so could not watch in bed. some rooms appear to be much nicer than others.

Review 31：They advertise wifi but the signal in my room was so poor it was unworkable so I had to sit in the reception. Also they say the hot food stops at 21.30 in the restaurant but when I went down at 21.12 last Sunday they told me kitchens closed. So with 2 big dissapointments on 1st day that contradicted their advertised claims means Ill not return.

Review 36：Pervasive smell of cooking in the second floor corridor (but not in the second bedroom; room 216). Bathroom was very new but unfortunately the shower head would not stay put; we held it in place with a piece of string. Staff serving breakfast were in a room adjacent to the restaurant smoking. Perhaps this is the norm in Austria, we don't know.

Review 37：Helpful receptionist when we needed to change room because the initial room (room 228) was above the kitchen and noisy and smelly from the extractor fan. Buffet breakfast was very good.

Review 38：1.No staff in reception at arrival at 19.30. One from the bar 'helped' me. Gave me wrong information as to the use of the underground garage. Not nice to found yourself stuck there because of ignorance of the staff. The morning after still no reception staff proper. 2. the mattres in the bed somewhat old. You could feel the cavity after years use.

Review 57：I went to the restaurant in the evening alone. But the service was notgood. (Actually pretty bad) because they never noticed me and didn'tbring me the menu and bill for a while and I had to seat there waitingfor him/ her. And that's why I didn't want to give any tip but when gavemoney for the food, she just tip herself and say 'thank you' in German.I can't speak German and most of employee r not good at English. I askedthe way to dormitory but the employee told me the wrong location(it wasthe way to school) so I had to struggle with my 40kg-luggage on thestreet more than 30-40 minutes. I hate her. It was the worstnightmare!!!!
