Reviews for Hôtel des Jacobines

Review 1:The only thing that was a bit disappointing was that the coffee machine seemed to be almost empty of coffee. The breakfast otherwise was plentiful and very good.

Review 2:The location was very peaceful, there was a car park next door, the hotel was clean and the bed comfortable. There were plenty of restaurants nearby to choose from. The proprietor was friendly and helpful.

Review 3:The light switch for the bath (part of the hotel room) could not be reached by a little child since it was located to high at the lamp above the bathroom mirror. There was no meat or eggs available for breakfast.

Review 4:The rooms were sufficiently large and furnished. The service in the hotel was very friendly. The owner does most work himself including opening front doors, receiving guests, cleaning breakfast tables and handling check outs. Our two children (ages 6 and 9) together paid for breakfast like one adult which is very fair because most other hotels that we checked charge the same amount for a little child as for an adult!

Review 5:Shower: hadshower was broken, not possible to fix on the wall and the shower space was really small. Breakfast could be better (more options) considering the price, but the fresh croissants paid off.

Review 6:Clean Cozy friendly staff fresh croissants in the morning

Review 7:Could not get in the building until after 5pm. We were tired from travel & had to walk around town with our suitcases for 3 hours.

Review 8:The staff went out of their way to help us find bikes to rent & a grocery store. Very friendly!

Review 9:No airco

Review 10:Cheap, clean, friendly, good location, nice staff (French only)

Review 11:Nothing

Review 12:Location

Review 13:Location close to the pedestrian streets of the city.

Review 14:Sharing a toilet; waiting until 5 pm to check in.

Review 15:It was well sited; inexpensive - absolutely no frills - but it one thing that impressed .... Plenty of hot water! The hotel is a one-star so you get what you pay for.

Review 16:Host knows very little English & we know very little French socommunication was difficult. The hotel is difficult to find withowt gps.

Review 17:Good value, friendly staff, simple but nice breakfast, convenientparking location.

Review 18:Although the approach is rather disappointing,(the photo was rathermisleading), not much can be done about that; once inside, people werefriendly and helpful.

Review 19:The room was more basic than believed. Whilst i was not expecting luxury the standard of the hotel as a whole was less than described. Would not rush to stay there again. The parking described did not include the height restriction which prevented my vehicle from entering it. Hence the tour of the town to locate alternative parking was unexpected. Having said that the local public car park was not too far away,

Review 20:Emplacement Prix

Review 21:Fixed checked in-out hours, so annoying to wait until 5PM after a long trip.

Review 22:Check-in from 17:00 and check-out until 11:00 without possibility of arrangement is shameful!

Review 23:Decent comfort for fair price, very close to center.

Review 24:Q-park garage is only 20 meters from the hotel and when you check-out, you get the parking card for only 2 euro's!

Review 25:In the centre of the city, just round the corner to the high street. Cozy and nice.

Review 26:Great clean nice place good location great parking and close to motorway
