Reviews for Hôtel de Provence

Review 1:Great value and location on quiet street, close to historical district. Very nice windows. Room vintage, some may call it dated. LOved the high ceilings and floor to ceiling windows in the bedroom and bathroom! Very comfy and private. Proprieter helpful with bike storage

Review 2:Not far from the city centre, this makes this hotel quite convenient for a stay in Salon, or for exploring around, as Aix can be reached in 30 minutes by bus, and trains go to Marseille.

Review 3:Great location, 5 min walk to town centre. Breakfast was basic, self-service but everything we wanted was there. We parked our rental car right in front of the hotel for free for 2 days. Very friendly, quiet, clean place to stay on a budget.

Review 4:Corridor lights are dim and not auto-lit.

Review 5:2 free hotel parking lots, cheap parking within close proximity, free parking about a few minutes walk away. Near to train and bus stations and short walk to city centre. Clean basic room, quiet at night except for howling winds at times. Good strong WiFi, allows connections from multiple devices at the same time. Owner is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is decent and reasonably priced.

Review 31:Breakfast is not good at all. We travel to France very often and it's first time when we had such bad experience with breakfast. However a nice friendly cafe is 5 min walk where you can get excellent coffee and etc...

Review 33:Older hotel with lots of character. Staff very friendly and helpful. Very good value for money near to many tourist attractions. Interesting town with many restaurants to chose from.

Review 34:If you are eating at the hotel, it might be best to make prior reservation. We waited over an hour for dinner and the waiters/waitresses + restaurant manager seems to be oblivious to our presence. Other than that, if you would like a five-star hotel treatment/get-away, this hotel does meet its purpose.
