Reviews for Brit Hotel Tours Sud – Le Cheops
Review 1:Arrived at 9.15 pm restaurant was shut. No other restaurants locally. Had to get take away. It's in a bad area so not really safe out on street. Went and got a beer from the small bar they have and charged €10 for 2 beers. Big town prices for little hovel.
Review 2:Location out of center. In the little village not much bars or restaurants. The tram was out of order.
Review 3:Free parking, airco, dinner was nice. Modern bathroom.
Review 4:Very rude staff! Did not want to help in any way. Location was poor as there was nothing nearby, no restaurants or shops.
Review 5:Free car parking, clean rooms and very peaceful. Rooms had air conditioning which was great.
Review 6:We didn't realise the restaurant was not open at weekends and when we arrived at 8pm on a Saturday night we struggled to find somewhere to eat as it was in a business district.
Review 7:We like Brit Hotels are they are always clean and the beds are large and comfy.
Review 8:Very few places to eat at night we only managed to find 3 take away pizza places and no restaurants open but it was the night of palm Sunday so maybe that was the reason
Review 9:Large room for 2 adults and 2 children also large bathroom, both clean and tidy
Review 10:No tea & cofee making facilities
Review 11:Friendly and helpful staff Room a little larger than many budget hotels and quiet free car park at rear Near trams for city centre
Review 12:Difficult signage leaving the motorway. There are two Junction 24 exits!
Review 13:Room comfortable. Nice to have kettle in room. Lovely park opposite the hotel to take the dog for a walk.
Review 14:Slight difficulty regulating heating in bedroom especially if you like a cool room. Wifi was a little inconsistant but did manage to get on.
Review 15:Room very clean and most needs catered for. Fairly conveniently situated and easy to find. Breakfast very good. Would stay again. Pity a kettle wasn't offered for the "Comfort" room.s Would have made the stay perfect.
Review 16:Restaurant closed both times we arrived 7p.m. ish, and a bit unsure of locality so didn't feel like wandering around much looking for somewhere to eat.
Review 17:Free parking and easy to locate ... easy access to lobby and car park. Friendly and efficient reception. Comfortable beds and good shower; room a good size and with decoration better than most budget chains! Breakfast around 8Euro pp plentiful as self service buffet.
Review 18:Restaurant was closed by 7 pm, but we got snacks from shops nearby
Review 19:Warm welcome and very we'll organised convenient parking. Room was spotless and had a pleasant decor; huge comfortable bed, free wi-Di and a good shower all made for happy guests. We were able to book a triple room to share with our son, saving cost of extra room and we were all happy with service and decor.
Review 20:......and it shows, 'double' bed was two singles fastened together, comfortable enough tho, no coffee facilities in rooms, toilet very close to shower so you are in danger of banging your knee off its edge [guess how i found out], nothing much in the area, no shops/restaurants to speak of, you need to travel to them. otherwise ok
Review 21:staff very friendly and helpful. tram outside the door, handy free carpark, good for a stopover but not really a holiday hotel unless on a tight budget, no real issues, clean and tidy etc. cheap hotel.........
Review 22:There was a mess with rooms upon our arrival but at the end everything was solved in a good way. We had problems with internet connection on the last day at the hotel.
Review 23:The night personnel was very pleasant. The room was nice and spacious. Tea / coffee facilities. Free parking next to the hotel.
Review 24:Breakfast range wasn't good especially €8 each including children that only have a box of cereal anyway.
Review 25:Shower was huge & toiletries were very nice. New windows (since my moan last year as very unsafe & not child friendly "family room")
Review 26:Pet friendly with a lovely park opposite the hotel. Excellent wifi connection. Very clean.
Review 27:Clean large room
Review 28:car parking a little confusing
Review 29:helpful staff and play park for kids
Review 30:A bit tired and parking was not secure, cider party in park outside.
Review 31:Nice bed, seemed quiet and close to train, bus.
Review 32:The staff is young and a little inexperienced
Review 33:Free and excellent WiFi
Review 34:The manager and staff were very nice and helpful, the food was very good and reasonably priced as well!
Review 35:Cleanliness, comfort, efficiency
Review 36:Nothing
Review 37:Comfy beds Great shower Food good Parking Wifi Helpful staff
Review 38:No adjoining rooms available
Review 39:Late check in OK Friendly staff Good size room Good breakfast Parking Clean and comfortable
Review 40:Travelling with our 2 daughters, we loved the set up of the room. Queen bed and 2 double beds. The Shower was fabulous!
Review 41:Restaurant closes on a Friday night and there are only 2 others within walking distance. A very business area. Ok for a stopover but nothing else to see or do.
Review 42:staff excellent. Good english, courteous. Breakfast good although a little expensive.
Review 43:Yet again a hotel that advertises a restaurant but it was closed. I requested a restaurant booking so why wasn't I informed it was closed. Staff OK. Poor area that didn't invite an evening stroll.
Review 44:reasonably convenient for a night stop whilst travelling. Room was comfortable.
Review 45:The huge window in the family room that just opened without safety catches onto the carpark below. There was a very handy table under the window for my son to climb up on! I told reception and this wasn't a problem as it closed easily?!?! The hotel is in the middle of a council estate and looks awful from the outside, it does make up for it when you get in.
Review 46:The lovely new clean shower
Review 47:Could have a separate bar instead of drinks sold from the front desk and seats in reception.
Review 48:Very clean room and great room for families. Nice basic food in restaurant. Helpful staff. Good value for money
Review 49:location. Hotel backed onto an estate/gardens. Concerned about leaving car there. Noise from estate late into the night
Review 50:Large room slept two adults and two kids Free parking
Review 51:Although the bathroom was huge and the open shower in the bathroom gave plenty of space, it did mean that the water flooded across the bathroom and there was no outlet for it to drain on the bathroom floor.
Review 52:The hotel and room had recently been refurbished and was very comfortable. we liked the fact that the 2 single beds for our daughters were in another part of the room. The room was very spacious.
Review 53:The shower really does need a screen to stop the water spraying everywhere.
Review 54:Clean, modern, large and comfortable family room with large bathroom. Freshly squeezed orange was a very nice touch for breakfast.
Review 55:The Staff was very friendly and helpful! The Hotel was spotlessly clean - the breakfast was great with FRESH COFFEE!! We would defiantly stay there again. Mr & Mrs White
Review 56:parking lot a bit worrying due to being part of a housing estate, but car was okay. Area not the best generally.
Review 57:Wonderful staff especially receptionist who was incredibly helpful and efficient. Pleasant restaurant with basic fare, but fine. Great room all newly refurbished.
Review 58:One adverse observation was the fact the lift had not been refurbished and was looking tired and dirty and let down the rest of the hotel. The fact that the restaurant was closed on Friday for the weekend was an inconvenience as we hoped to eat in the hotel after a long drive.
Review 59:The room had been recently refurbished and was very comfortable. We were provided with a family size room with a wet room for the bathroom all of which was provided with fitting out for disabled guests. Therefore the room was spacious and comfortable.
Review 60:The restauraunt was closed, our main reason for picking this hotel
Review 61:The hotel staff were very polite and friendly. The room and bath room was very clean and comfortable
Review 62:Front desk staff in the evening was ridicously unprofessional. A younggirl with no experience with customers asked to prepay the room withoutshowing it. When we said the manager we want to see the roome and thatthe reservation was made with credit card he said he has fear we see theroom, use the toilette and then go away.... The girl wanted the paymentbut did not know how to charge my credit card and I have to show herwhat to do We had lost a lot of time for no reason They did not sayanything about the parking (the night guy gave us ticket to get in andout from free parking, there is no public parking around because ofstreet works), neither gave us the code to use internet (but then thewi-fi was out order..) At midnight a big bug (yes: a beatle) was runningbehind the chair of the night receptionist who quietly kill it Back tothe room at 1am found a bug in the room toilette.. At 5:30 am we decidedto leave the room It seems Brit hotel likes bugs we had a similarexperience at Brit Hotel in blois.... (At least there they do not askprepayments..)no more Brit hotel ! Lucky enough we had no breakfast ordinner there!!! Questi Brit Hotel sono da evitare come la peste!
Review 63:The person at the front desk at night was nice and professional, muchbetter then
Review 64:Not a complaint but area where hotel was was not nice, very run down part of Tours
Review 65:Staff were friendly Rooms looked as though they had just been re furnished so very clean and new.
Review 66:The hotel was in an area with big block of flats. To the back little playground area/park for local people who take their dogs and children to play. If it is hot and you have to leave window open it can be noisy, especially on weekends. Air Con. didn't seem to work.
Review 67:Hotel was clean and staff friendly and spoke English. Room was clean and beds comfortable. Pet friendly. No extra cost for our dog. Car safe in a private cark behind hotel with no extra charge. Value for money for basic clean and comfortable short stay.
Review 68:Nice location, good breakfast. Car park is free. In the city center. There is nice park around the coner, so you can do jogging
Review 69:Crisis with towels on day 2
Review 70:Good value for money Free parking Comfortable family room Not far from main roads to explore the castles
Review 71:Overpriced continental, self-serve breakfast didn't offer much variety or value
