The elegant Hotel Nesslerhof in Großarl is located right opposite the Hochbrand Cable Car. It features a spa area and an indoor pool offering panoramic views of the surrounding Hohe Tauern Mountain Range.
All rooms have large windows and a balcony with mountains views. Like the entire hotel, they are furnished in a subtle combination of wood, natural stone and glass. Free WiFi is available in the entire hotel.
Spa facilities include a steam bath, an infrared cabin and 2 saunas also offering panoramic views of the Alpine surroundings. Modern fitness facilities and a sunbathing terrace overlooking Großarl are available as well.
There is a buffet and an à-la-carte restaurant serving traditional Salzburg specialities and modern cuisine. A buffet breakfast with organic products of local origin can be enjoyed every morning.
The half-board dinner includes a choice of 4 different main courses, salad, cheese and ice-cream buffets. Themed buffet and a gala dinner are offered once a week.
In winter, you can ski right down to the front door of the Nesslerhof and a ski school for children can be found right next to the hotel. A petting zoo is located next door and an adventure playground is just a 5-minute walk away and is accessible for free.

Review 1：- They allow a pet, however it is only allowed in the room. it is not even allowed on the terrace. It is not a friendly place for pets (and charge 8 euro's per day for it) - We were placed in a side building (which we knew), but it was very old and needs refurbishment and in nothing to compare with the hotel. We didn't understand why both carry the same name as it is in our eyes to separate levels of hotel - We knew we weren't able to enter the spa, due to the fact we didn't book diner included, but weren't even able to access to swimming pool. - The description folder in the room, was mentioning slippers, bathrobes etc, but we didn't get these because of the reason mentioned above. Please make sure to update this for the difference in what you offer your guests - cleaning and hoovering started at 7am.

Review 7：EVERYTHING! We have been fortunate to stay in many lovely hotels all around the world but this was the best we have ever been to. The attention to detail was incredible from the staff, the food to the facilities. We were made to feel like royalty and have rebooked for next year. We could not find a single fault with the hotel. The food was absolutely amazing every night. You will not find a better hotel in Austria.

The excellent dinner menu every day is the amazing feature of this hotel and I was happily surprised by all the nicely arranged and delicious dishes brought to my dinner table every day. Review 17：The pictures on booking.com don't do the hotel justice - the decor and outdoor areas re fabulous. The breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner were all delicious and service spot on. The spa area offers all you need - sauna, steam, pool and treatments - and again the decor/ambience were perfect. Would highly recommend this hotel and go back ASAP!

Review 18：We booked a double room in the old small building adjacent to the main building, both of which were advertised under the name of "Hotel Nesslerhof" with 4 stars. But the old building has nothing to do with a 4-star hotel and is a farmhouse pension at best. We were given a room with no Wifi connection, heating was completely down in the evening, the hot water in the shower ran on and off, the bath towers were old and rough and the lighting in the room was far from being sufficient for us to do normal reading in the evening. We stayed three nights in this hotel and did not feel good there except for the food and spa of this hotel. We believe the old building should not have been advertised under the same name of Hotel Nesslerhof as the old building and the new one are two completely different world and the old building deserves just 2 stars at best.

Review 19：The hotel is located in the center of the little ski town of Grossarl , which is surrounded by beautiful mountain landscape with easy access to all the amazing walking trails and ski slopes. The main building of the hotel is equipped with all the modern amenities and offers a nice spa area with big a heated pool and wonderful sauna and steam bath. The half-board includes a rich breakfast buffet with a wide variety of tasty choices, an afternoon snack (Nachmittag-Jause) and a fantastic five-course dinner. The spa area is well designed and kept very clean at all times. The indoor pool is a great attraction as well as it is not only huge but also a very enjoyable place to relax after a whole day walking in the mountains or ski on the slopes. The staff was very friendly and I got a free bottle of Champagne as a gift from the hotel for my birthday.
