Review 1：The hotel is very old. When we stayed for the second night, there was fierce rain and when we woke up the room was wet. The breakfast did not meet the HACCP standards, because the food was not cooled.

Review 2：The staff was very friendly and the location is superb.

Review 3：In October, it is very quiet & very limited number of restaurants & bars open around the hotel Felt like a ghost town, despite the high rise buildings. You need a car at this time of year. The hotel provides a lovely meal but if only option then gets very monotonous. Also, no coffee facilities in room & only 1 coffee machine in morning.

Review 4：The staff are very friendly & helpful, the pool (bit cold but it is October). Size of rooms & comfy. Breakfast is lovely (pastries vey moreish!) & coffee very good (but only 1 slow machine)

Review 5：The only negative for me was no tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Breakfast is served from 8am and as someone who is awake at 5.30am every morning, I would really have appreciated being able to have a cup of tea before 8am!! There is ample room to provide this facility so maybe they will someday. Wouldn't stop me returning though.

Review 6：The staff were very friendly and helpful at all times. The rooms, although basic, were huge and spotlessly clean. We had B&B and the breakfast did not have vast amount of choice but we were more than happy with the it - cereal, toast, baguette, yoghurt, pastries, meats, cheese, fried eggs, bacon, juices, tea and coffee, jam, butter etc. You could eat as much as you wanted and all of it very fresh.

Review 11：Towel rails are very high in the bathroom - as a short person travelling alone I had to ask someone to come in every day to lift the towels down for me! Same with the rail in the wardrobe - I had to stand on the bed to hang up my clothes. Also no English TV channels - even CNN would have been good, let alone a film channel!

Review 15：The relaxed and easygoing atmosphere. Bungalows arranged around a central pool area and gardens. Lovely setting. Very easy to switch off and unwind. Near the beach also.Staff were lovely. Covered secure parking for car.Very firm and comfortable beds!Spacious room.

Review 16：Only small issue was the coffee machine in the breakfast room. Far too slow for size of hotel. Nice coffee though. Breakfast room was also very crowded & waves of felt like being pushed when busy as not much space to get around. Food was varied & good though (bacon & eggs cold though). We were also told that the night club underneath the hotel gets very busy & noisy. Weren't there then so didn't experience it luckily

Review 17：Location of pool to room, air con was perfect for good nights sleep. Staff very friendly & helpful. Hotel was in a good Spanish area & felt like in Spain rather then the UK with sunshine. Walking distance to good beaches & very nice restaurants. Even outside movies across road (couldn't hear anything though) & lovely ice-cream parlour. Really enjoyed it!!

Review 18：Room was dated, holes in the duvet & wall was in need of repair. We asked for a double bed, but they gave us two twins pushed together (typical in Spain!). But the craziest thing was the note on the minibar fridge saying if we wanted to use for personal use there would be a charge! Total nonsense...

Review 19：The wifi was the best of any hotel we stayed at in Spain (which isn't saying much), but it would randomly drop out too. Bathroom was large and clean, the A/C was fantastic.

Review 20：The bedroom was average, outdated furnishings, odd shaped bathroom, too clinical looking. Having to pay for mini bar usage as a fridge unreasonable. Safe should be free. Not having horizontal sun loungers with padding. Padded chairs under the pergolas would be preferable.

Review 31：It's rather easy to get by bus from/to Torrevieja - the bus stop is just near the hotel. Quite big room with a discrete sitting hall further to the bedroom. Scarcity of people in winter to feel yourself in private.

Review 80：Hotel Montepiedra was a nice small hotel with good Breakfast and lunch and evening dinner provided. The location of apartments poolside were lovely. The male staff were very pleasant. It was kept very clean and the pool was good also very near the Beach.

Review 85：Absolutely awful service and food on the one night we chose to eat there. No menu, just read off a slip by a surly waiter who did not smile from beginning of service to the end. Starter was left by 4 of our party - tinned asparagus with a dollop of mayo, no query from waiter as to why we had all left it. Main course equally tasteless and unappealing. Couldn't wait to get out of the restaurant (which was empty and now we know why!) No wifi in rooms which was inconvenient.

Review 86：Rooms cleaned to a very good standard & beds were comfortable. Good to have a balcony. Good sized pool & nice and peaceful. Lunchtime serving staff friendly and efficient. Lunchtime food was good & tables laid outside with table cloths.
