Reviews for CGH Résidences & Spas Le Hameau De Pierre Blanche

Review 1:Towels changing charge € 5, no bathrobe, the app must be left in appropriate state of cleanliness (rubbish must be disposed or 20€ wil be debited from deposit; bed linen must be removed and placed with towels in the bathroom; the full cleaning of the kitchen must be done or 80€ will be debited from the deposit)!? All this would, as always, made ... but this does not sound good, and not told in advance. The Ski resort has very poorly maintained ski trails, many ski lifts were not working and generally great disappointment of the Ski resort due to the high cost of ski passes.

Review 2:Very nice, clean, quiet, perfectly equipped, close to the ski lifts, very friendly staff! Furthermore, secure garage with direct entry into the apartment house and perfectly organized layout with storage for ski equipment.

Review 3:Nothing! 5 stars!

Review 4:We spent 2 nights at CGH and liked everything about this place! The apartment was lovely, spacious, clean, modern, with great facilities for cooking etc, a lovely balcony as well. We also could use the swimming pool and sauna. The staff were incredibly friendly as well.

Review 5:There needs to be an apartment for wheelchair users with a shower not a bath. Although the bathroom was very spacious, most disabled people cannot get into a bath.

Review 6:Large open apartments, everything works and is of good quality.

Review 7:The SPA facilities are in itself nice but overrun by young children. If you plan to come to Residence CGH Le Hameau De Pierre Blanche for the wellness facilities you will definitely be dissapointed. It looks like a SPA but it is basically a children's paradise.

Review 8:Friendly staff, great location, and good -sized accomodation including a nice outdoor terrace with stunning mountain view.

Review 9:Need a hotter swimming pool / jacuzzi, would be helpful more previous information about the residence like what is included what is not included

Review 10:Environment, near to ski lift, good overall infrastructure

Review 11:Poor quality rooms. Need updating. We asked for a few extra pillows and they told us it was not in the budget. Internet was not good. Toilet smelled and we asked to have cleaned. Staff never came, we finally went to store and bought toilet cleaner. Overall the place looked dirty and old.

Review 12:location, pool area was nice

Review 13:If weather is bad, apart from spa not much to do in area

Review 14:Lovely spa which kept children happy for hours, gym a nice feature too. if weather is good (our weather in july was awful), views of Mont Blanc are unbeatable, apartments directly look at the mountain. Apartment was very smart, great value for money. Staff were friendly and helpful. Kitch Inn along road a really nice bar / cafe / restaurant. Cafe across road in park by lake really nice too.

Review 15:Though the rest of the apt. was clean, the floor was gritty---this bothered me. In addition, though the facility otherwise seemed luxurious there was this plastic sheet on the bed which was uncomfortable and also somewhat disturbing. I found it odd for a place of this price/quality.

Review 16:Quiet, very nice decor and facilities, the woman receptionist was great.

Review 17:Too far out from Chamonix

Review 18:Very friendly and helpful staff

Review 19:The staff was just ok, they seemed a bit stuffy. There was a language barrier though.

Review 20:Beautiful location and the accommodations are beautiful too.

Review 21:Poor wifi reception, no shower cabins in sauna/hammam area, just 2 open showers in the pool - which are not the major problem.

Review 22:Generally good network of residences. Good location, 10 mins walk to the ski lift.

Review 23:Inventory of every kitchen item (spoon per spoon!) upon arrival is time consuming and pointless! No showers in the changing rooms or sauna hamam area - so you have to shower / wash in the pool area. Not great! Gym very basic but good cardio machines. The reception area was closed when not staffed so the lounge area though was hardly used. BBQ night was a good idea but having to bring food, pplates and chairs took the fun out of it. They could sell tickets instead and make it a real event!

Review 24:Calm, sunny location with great views of Mont Blanc. On the small side but well finished and pretty chalet style apartment with comfy beds and good bathrooms. Lovely spa / pool facility. Very helpful staff. Location is very child friendly with tennis kids club, outdoor climbing and leisure areas on the doorstep + tennis club and cable cars to local walks/ski areas.

Review 25:Staff were helpful & friendly if a bit disorganized. The apartments are small. Was fine for us, but very small table, chairs, etc, everything is made to maximise the space. We had a 2 bedroom place for 5 people, we just fit.

Review 26:Very high quality built apartments . Swimming complex is fantastic, clean modern, great pool, sauna & steam room & place to relax & sunbath. The view is amasing & really enjoyed our week here & being slightly away from Chamonix. Great for the cable car to Mount Blanc. We climbed the mountain & went Canyoning with our boys, just a great week. Will be back.

Review 27:Wish the rooms were a tad bigger. A bit cramped for a family of 4.

Review 28:This was our first family ski holiday. Our children are 5 & 8. We booked lessons for us all. The location was perfect to walk to ski lift every morning. There was a nice sledge area by our chalet. Pool was clean & nice area to relax after skiing.

Review 29:Part of the equipment, devices in rooms (blinds on dormer-windows, fans, dryers in rooms for skis) not always in working condition.

Review 30:Generally positive hotel in a good place at the acceptable price.

Review 31:We were amazed to find in a 4* residence to find that there was no dailyor indeed midweek clean. On check in there was one-small loo roll for 4adults and the shops were closed the next day. We were ased to completean inventory of all the kitchen items sign & hand it back. The listof charges for anything lost or damaged was extensive. The Spa areadidn't have showers in the changing area so everybody was showeringand washing hair in the poolside shower! Children were playing with toysunattended in the jacuzzi. The day before check out we were givennotification to strip all the bed linen, remove all the rubbish from theapartment and empty the dishwasher and the consequences of not doing anyof the above would result in €80 charges per misdeameanour. None of thisinformation was supplied on booking or in advance of travel and had itbeen we most certainly would not of booked this accommodation.

Review 32:The location and surrounding areas are very pretty.

Review 33:It's not a hotel, with no dining or bar facilites. There was no supervision of children in the spa/pool area. We were a couple in a room for 4, but the space was only suitable for 2 in my opinion. There was no hand washing facilites in the room toilet. You had to open 2 doors to get to the bathroom area to wash your hands. The location was just a bit too far from the ski slopes to be comfortable walking in ski boots.

Review 34:Friendly staff with good english language skills, room was well furnished with good utilities and balcony had exellent view of the mountains. The spa/pool area was also very good, with hot tubs, sauna, steam room and small pool.

Review 35:There is no restaurant around.

Review 36:Walking distance to the lift. The kitchen is well equipped, this is veryimportant for the family because there is only one cafe around.

Review 37:Very comfortable and very well equipped apartment. Great location.
