Review 8：Our only complaint was the position of the room that was given to us. We booked through Booking.com in August/September & asked for a room facing the sea with a double bed. We had a room on the front with no sun on the balcony, you could just about see the sea & we had 2 single beds.

Review 9：Christmas day was wonderful, just everything was perfect. The service, the pleasant staff, food was fantastic & plenty of it. Drink none stop. Then we all had a present from Mother Christmas. Just a wonderful day to remember & tell all our friends. This is the third Christmas we have spent here & we booked for my husbands special birthday last January which was wonderful the hotel brought to our room a bottle of champagne & a card. So we have now booked in for another 4 days & 3 nights for his birthday again next year.

Review 10：Bar in the ballroom poorly manned. Had to wait far too long to be served. Was about to be served out of order so had to complain. And was then argued with by the Barman who did not know what was going on anyway. Very bad service! Also no tea or coffee making facilities in bedroom.

Review 14：There was a rather large cockroach in the dining room but it was an isolated occurrence. The spa gym equipment is old and the changing rooms are too small. Monthly gym membership is way too expensive, I wanted to use the gym as a member but it costs too much. Breakfast sausages are not meaty and scrambled egg was not cooked properly.

Review 16：It is a 4 star hotel, but clearly the building and rooms need a refurbishment. The bed in our room had wheels and would slide, the shower head was old. We went to the SPA on the afternoon and the responsible was not there, so the only thing we could use was the jacuzzi. The buffet (breakfast & lunch) is not amazing, but if you are not too picky or won't spend too many days there it's fine.

Review 17：The location is perfect, being situated directly at the sea shore with beautiful views and 5 minutes away from a huge shopping mall. Alicante airport is 40 minutes drive away, and Torrelamata 20 min. The staff was very friendly and would prepare breakfast for us at 5AM before our flight (you have to give notice the night before).

Review 25：Not a bad experience, but, if you are on a budget, this is the place to go to. As a retired couple, we found the dining room like a factory canteen....plastic tables, self service, so much noise and bustle. We stayed, en route, for 2 nights. The rooms were adequate, the food plentyful, the staff willing and cheerful. Set at the edge of a sandy bay, which is cleaned and raked daily, it has all the ingredients of a good holiday....dancing at night etc, but we could not see where the 4 stars came from.

Only one singer tuneful but the Germans guests loved them all- marching and line dancing

Reception was requested to book a taxi to train station 24 hours before and reminded one hour before. They ensured that the taxi is booked, but when it didn't come 15 minutes after requested time it was found that nobody booked the taxi, so it was re-booked and came 25 minutes late, so we were late to our train. 3. WiFi has very slow speed.

Review 88：The hotel is amazing. The staff couldn't do enough to help you, they looked happy and went out of their way to serve. The hotel was super clean and the location was amazing. Given that we were there in August there were always sunbeds no matter what time of the day you went to the pool. There was absolutely no reserving of sunbeds and the staff actively removed towels from sunbeds if no one was there for 30 minutes.....The food was excellent and so much variety even for those that want English food when you go on holiday (although not sure why anyone wants to go to another country and eat English food) 10/10 from me and will definitely be going back :-)

Review 89：Beds were very hard and uncomfortable as were pillows. The restaurant resembled a canteen always noisy and no choice for fine dining. Entertainment was the same each night. No shops close by to the hotel.

Review 92：The entertainment is not only awful but it is also frequented by the locals who seem to treat it as their domain to the detriment of the guests. It also goes on until 01:00 am every morning which takes the edge of that fantastic sea view room. The canteen (yes canteen) is a let down. The food is good (although a larger selection for each sitting would have been nice). The staff are excellent and supremely efficient. The overall dining experience is underwhelming however. The noise is unbearable, guests dress as they please. I struggled to put my finger on the problem but the best way to describe it is a works canteen with better food.

Review 124：Half board was offered in the overall price, which seemed a good deal at the time, based on our previous knowledge of the hotel. However, the menu (both the printing of it and the content) looked like something from a kids club, eg griddled sausages, chicken nuggets. We decided in the end to eat elsewhere and felt we'd made the right decision when other guests talked about the food being tasteless and barely luke warm. (Manolo's cafeteria/restaurant at the top of the road towards the N332 was very friendly and served good food. Prices were reasonable too. Hotel breakfast was OK but nothing special.

Review 125：The location of this hotel is very good if you want a beach/pool stay but what was once a smart, upmarket 4* hotel has become the same as many other beachfront tourist hotels. We were able to find free parking near the hotel which negated the need to pay for the hotel car park. However, in summer parking spaces are hard to come by so anyone staying in July/August might want to consider paying for the hotel parking.

And it would be nice to have prahaps a water kettle for coffee or tea in the mornings as I am not a breakfast person:) The cleaning lady she did a tremendous job cleaning my bed and bathroom were super clean and I felt I could trust her. I left her a good tip:) The reception also were very smiling and polite. Love hotel La Zenia:)
