Review 1：Admitted we booked this hotel at the last minute and it was a holiday weekend but! The room smelt mouldy as soon as we entered the room we rushed to open the windows. The air-conditioning only seemed to blow hot air. The breakfast buffet was the biggest collection of tastless food that I am yet to encounter and was set upon and demolished by the bus loads of tourist. Location is well out of town so you would definitely need a car and there is no other restaurants locally. The hotel proves nothing but you are able to buy shampoo etc. The towels were almost threadbare. AND this was one of the most expensive hotels we stayed in!
Review 2：This hotel was very overpriced and had taken advantage of the fact that all other hotels in town were full to change us the times the normal price. The hotel is a long way out of town. You might be able to walk ten minutes to the main road and get a bus into town but we never found one and always had to get a taxi. The hotel is in an industrial area far from restaurants or anything else. Breakfast was not very good and there wasn't anything else nearby.

Review 60：This is a budget hotel, located outside of the city centre, but as we always drive within Spain, we really appreciated the free and secure garage parking. The room was more than adequate, there was only a view of the local poligono activity, but as we spent the day in Avila and the surrounding area it didn't matter. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast was unlimited, with lots of choice. We enjoyed the pizza and drink from the 24 hour cafeteria both evenings.
Review 61：Our relation with this hotel/chain began badly and didn't improve much - they suddenly changed their booking conditions (in regard to compulsory prepayment, no-fee cancellation and inclusion of breakfast) a couple of days after we booked at the start of the year, and they point-blank refused to switch us to the newer, more suitable conditions, even after Booking.com's representations. However their stubborn rigidity didn't extend to honouring the breakfast price that was advertised when we booked - yep, you guessed it, they upped the breakfast charge unilaterally. The location is very inconvenient, a long trudge from the historic centre in an unappetising industrial estate which was eerily deserted in the holiday period of our stay. No buses come near, and a taxi turned out to be a good deal more than the staff estimated. We wouldn't stay here again, nor recommend it to any of our friends. Enemies, maybe.

Review 76：The bathroom was generally unclean. There was black mould all around the bottom of the shower cubicle. The shower screens had not been cleaned - there was limescale visible all over the screens. We couldn't get food in the restaurant before 9pm. We had a carbonara and a mushroom risotto. The risotto was a murky brown rice soup and the pasta was virtually just that (very little ham or anything else) We waited 30 minutes for this!!

We were offered an alternative menuby the very pleasant young lady, an acceptable salad as a starter, buttwo main courses which were practically in edible, my wife had Hakewhich was hardly recognisable as fish! And I had meat balls whichappeared to have been over cooked and came in a messy flavourless sauce!The fries with both dishes were edible. The young lady explained thatall the food was ready cooked and just reheated for service. Breakfastwas a very good standard continental style no complaints at all.
