Reviews for Elizabeth Arthotel
Review 1:The spa facilities are very basic for a high end hotel and the swimming pool was too cold
Review 2:Location for skiing is excellent and food amazing. The perfect place if you want to ski all day, have a few apres drinks and then relax with an amazing gourmet meal each evening.
Review 3:Service in the dinning room could be quite slow and sometimes felt you were bothering the staff if you asked them for something. Found the matre de miserable and unhelpful.
Review 4:Fabulous location. Very easy with gondola directly opposite hotel. Can be at the top in 7/8 mins
Review 5:The quality and friendliness of the entire staff is outstanding. A very good team spirit combined with the ability to approach all guests in a very friendly way makes you feel being surrounded by friends very quickly. The food was excellent and will certainly receive official appreciation and rating in the near future.
Review 6:This is potentially a great hotel, but it's let down by the front desk staff, an overhyped "spa" and missing finishing touches throughout. The hotel's website promises more than is actually delivered.
Review 7:The location is hard to beat; the hotel is at the end of the slope (#1a) with one gondola (Pardatschgratbahn) across the street and another one (the Fimbabahn) a few steps to the right. Ski rental right next to the lobby, ski service in the ski room behind the front desk. Very good food.
Review 8:We stayed here for 4 nights for a skiing holiday the hotel was absolutely fantastic, we had a beautiful room (Junior Suite) and the staff were excellent. Definitely would go back again!
Review 9:Nothing to dislike!
Review 10:Not just excellent skiing holiday hotel, but really exclusive yet welcoming superior class hotel. Fantastic package of location, beautiful facilities, wonderful good and welcoming staff. Four stars-S is an understatement!
Review 11:The room was probably the best room I have stayed in at a ski resort hotel. Staff very friendly. Location cannot be bettered. This is the place to stay in Ischgl !!
Review 12:I received a quotation for a ski lessons from one of the hotel staff by e-mail. When we arrived we asked to book a ski lesson for the next day and the booking was done by one of the hotel staff. Nobody informed us that there are some options exist for ski schools and nobody gave us the opportunity to choose between them. As no one did this we assumed that the ski school that was booked was the only possibility and that the prices was quoted at the e-mail applied to the school that was booked. We were unaware that there is another ski school in the area and other prices for ski lessons. After two days of skiing we were shocked when we asked by the ski guide to pay 450 euros more than we have had to pay by the quotation. We spoked and wrote to the hotel staff as we see them the resposible for our money down the drain but we didn't get any reimbursement.
Review 13:Spacious and comfortable room; dinner each night was excellent; the staff were very friendly and efficient.
Review 14:Liked all about this hotel. Great staff, very attentive, great location, great food.
Review 15:Excellent location next to two lifts. Amazing cuisine with great selection of wines.
Review 16:would just have liked new still water each day
Review 17:the food was exceptional as was all the facilities could not fault it
Review 18:Bad food!!
Review 19:Great location great rooms and spa. Great service and staff
Review 20:location ,meals and service were excellent
Review 21:Limit of Internet
Review 22:Hotel was far too hot, in all areas - it was probably because we were visiting in April and it was unseasonally warm.
Review 23:This hotel is great, and their après ski bar, the "Elizabeth Eis Bar" is fantastic - really cool and great fun. The food in the hotel is also delicious - we had 6 course dinners every night and the standard was far higher than the usual ski resort hotel dinners, which we both find a bit average most of the time. Really worth it, as especially as we paid "low season" rates as we were there early April.
Review 24:Breakfast was boring and poor compared to other hotels in same range, service was slow and a lot forgotten, dinner was without choice as is normally the standard in same range hotels. shame that balconies are not private, means you cannot leave anything outside or leave your door open at night, also no special hangers for your ski trousers or jacket when u come in the room. Same in ski room, nowhere to put your jacket and it was extremely hot in there and too small, the entertainment system on TV did not work. They have all what is necessary to make it much better and I hope that they do..
Review 25:Location is excellent, newly refurbished suites are very nice and luxurious,
Review 26:lack of entertainment on the TV. No films. No decent sky channels.
Review 27:great location, staff friendly, amazing sized room (suit), mordern with nice Chalet twists.
Review 28:Spa area is a little limited/cold. Should add a Jacuzzi if at all possible. Food (dinner) is generally good, but stayed previously at the Madlein and felt that it offered more variety and better selected dishes.
Review 29:Great location. Professionally run, while maintaining the personal family business touch. Very nice and up-to-date rooms. Staff very accommodating to meet your personalized requirements. Overall a great experience.
Review 30:Ski pub downstairs was bit noisy at times. Although the dinner/food is excellent, the 5 course meal is very very drawn out, so if you are tired it can be so irritating waiting for each course. Many people around us were moaning about this as well.
Review 31:Perfect position for lift, beautiful outlook, excellent service, large comfortable modern rooms, good spa facilities, excellent food, good ski hire and staff, not right in the middle of vibrant noisy main centre but still easy 3 minute walk to restaurants, pubs, lively fun discos.
Review 32:Rooms too warm. Constantly dehydrated. Suggest humidifier. The mini bar fridge was never cold. Snacks were also very limited.
Review 33:The lounge bar and design. Breakfast was one the best in a hotel. The view of the breakfast with the slopes. Ski rental inhouse. Slopes in front of the hotel. Ski room.
Review 34:The spa can be a bit improved to be in line with all the otherfacilities of the hotel. The prices are really high but still they arefully booked almost all the winter season.
Review 35:Friendly & highly professional staff , both in the hotel andrestaurant; exquisit dinners at the Elizabeth's restaurant. Designjunior suite was very confortable and proper with magnificent view. Wehave appreciated alot the care of managers and reception staff for ourconfort and wellnes. We have enjoyed every single day!
Review 36:Noisy outside at about 07:00 so no sleeping in !
Review 37:Everything, and I mean everything about the Elizabeth Arthotel was first rate, located at the bottom of run No.1a meant ski back to door, one of the resorts main lifts was right outside the front door and it had one of the liveliest Apre ski bars underneath, food was excellent and the rooms were superb.
Review 38:Great location and great food :)
Review 39:Would prefer to not have so many courses at dinner every night . However food wonderful .
Review 40:Excellent location and facilities
Review 41:Going home!
Review 42:The afterski, the dining and that all guests were fantastic nice. Also the staff - allround.
Review 43:Speed of service for dinner was exceedingly slow.
Review 44:Great next to the lifts, ski back to hotel, great views of the slopes. Good après ski bar
