Reviews for La Bergerie
Review 1:Only one restaurant in town.
Review 2:Great location close to Colmar and the villages around the wine route. Very friendly and helpful landlady. Fantastic breakfast table.
Review 3:The owner was unwelcoming in personality and barely spoke English (luckily we speak German). The little town does not have the amenities (restaurants, shops, sightseeing) that many of the other towns do - stay in Riquewihr, Ribeauville, Benwihr, Kinzheim.... just about any other town has wonderful things to visit and eat within walking distance. Though the bikes were free, they were in bad shape - we ended up renting bikes from the Tourist Office (a great way to see the area!).
Review 4:This cute B & B has free parking on site and is in a quiet location. The room was medium sized with a modern tv, good internet access, and a nice sized bathroom. You can tell the owner cares about her property.
Review 5:Not easy to find a place to eat in Beblenheim unless reserved.
Review 6:Fab houses...peaceful location...ideal stop on Alsace wine route. Great breakfast each morning. Good parking area.
Review 7:The fact that I quote the following has nothing to do with the hotel, but I must warn about the difficulty of making a meal in the town because if you have not made the reservation will be hard to find something to eat. Should move to another location
Review 8:Nice place, helpful owner. Easy to get to and parking availability.
Review 9:Safe off-road parking. Key to come and go at will (owner not resident overnight, hence no reception after 18:00). 3 places to eat within easy walking distance. Good quality breakfast, excellent value for money.
Review 10:Towels were rather dingy and thin and didn't have a really fresh, pleasant odor. There were no tourist maps/brochures in English available at the hotel, which would have been nice to have since there wasn't a tourist center in Beblinheim . Some of the nearby villages had some (although limited) information available for English-speaking visitors.
Review 11:Quiet, cozy, inn. Come and go with ease and good location. Hearty but basic breakfast. Very nice owner who made you feel welcome. Room with balcony was nice giving added feeling of space to a slightly tight room. Facilities clean. Access to wine road very near to hotel.
Review 12:There was nothing we did not like. The value for money is excellent.
Review 13:Quiet location 100 m off the main road though the village, the building itself: an old farmhouse now decorated with the classic utensils of the wine production set in a flowery environment, the kind reception and the slightly crazy interior decoration: sheep everywhere.
Review 14:Very comfortable but a bit more like a b&b than a hotel
Review 15:Village and hotel just as atmospheric as more famous places--good choice as long as you have a car
Review 16:Not very hearty welcoming reception... "Life is full of problems"! Poor garden full of concrete
Review 17:Good location in a nice village. Good parking Decent breakfast
Review 18:Lining and quilt does not llok clean. Wifi is not stable.
Review 19:Kind hostess.quite place. Good value for moneh.
