Review 1：It is a charming stone house with a beautiful view of rolling fields that meet the ocean. If only we had a few hours more, we would have sat in the garden and swam in the pool. Madame very graciously dropped us off in town for supper where we enjoyed fresh local oysters and we leisurely strolled back up the hill afterward. The beds were comfortable and we slept beautifully. We woke up to a cup of coffee, and home-made yogurt with delicious home-made rhubarb jam among other breakfast treats.

Review 3：EVERYTHING! our French hosts were superb, helpful and very friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Our room was fantastic with no expense spared for the fixtures and fittings, better than most 5 star hotels I have stayed in.

Review 16：Walking distance to the port (where all restaurants are located) is 15-20 minutes along the car road, therefore you need to pay attention to traffic especially when returning from dinner late in the evening. Staff is French spearing only, but we did not find this a problem.
Review 17：The place is excellent. Very neat and clean, with a good mixture of rustic and modern style. Other reviewers complain about the breakfast but it is included in the acomodation price, therefore it comes as a bonus unlike other Freanch hotels. Besides, you can always have a genuine breakfast at the port with fresh 12 oysters for a price of 4-6 EUR and that's the reason you stay in Cancale,isn't it? The location is great because besides the oysters' appeal, it can serve as a base for visiting Mont-Saint Michelle.
Review 18：Sometimes I'd really like to have a restaurant there but, to be honest, the nearest restaurant is only about 5 min walk away.
Review 19：I really liked my room, location, hotel atmosphere. Every morning started with lit fire place (April), tasty breakfast, friendly people. It was fast to walk to Cancale (10min), calm due to perifery location, easy to find and to park a car.

Rock hard bread andone croissant and slim pickings with fruit does not a breakfast make.There was a small pottle of yoghurt offered and a generous pot of hotwater with a tea bag of our choice. Please take note from your Englishand Dutch neighbours. We want muesli, fruit, toast and somethingcooked!! Also Cancale has gone upmarket and expensive. Don't bother.
Review 25：The room was nice and spacious. Nice view of the sea. Close to lovelyvillages and towns. I can recommend St Malo and Dinan and Mont StMichel. Beautiful.
