Review 2：What a find, fab little hotel, ideally located in the old town (but in quiet area), with pool and parking and amazebols daily breakfast (with cava). Booked superior room which included mini fridge and daily free water and 2 soft drinks (also enough room for wine/own drinks). Would definitely stay again. Returned to Tossa de Mar this year after previous 12 yr visit..it still hasn't changed. Idealic

Review 4：Everything was great! Staff is very welcoming, they even changed our room to superior one, just because the hotel was half empty, because of the end of season. Room was very beautiful and spaces, location - heart of the town.

Review 5：No hot food at all at the breakfast, and huge queue for coffee after 9. A bit noisy on friday night. Two pieces of plain bread in the lunch box?? - probably was a mistake.

Review 6：Absolutely great hotel. Comfort rooms are huge and clean, with big bath. Location is avesome, in the center of the town, 5 min walk from the beach, 10 min walk from the bus station. Staff is really really helpfull. We will come back

Not the hotel's fault- it is after all centrally located- but can be noisy with open window,especially weekends, also 0430 for bin lorry, and mopeds passing at all hours Again not hotels's fault- but local waste bins are just over the wall from the pool terrace,and may have been the cause of many flies experienced whilst by the pool

Location was ideal - close to town and beach (5-10 mins walk), but in a quiet part so not too disturbed by noise. Good Breakfast – plenty of choice and very well presented, plenty of staff to make sure things run smoothly. Nice pool - very clean and well maintained - looked lovely lit up at night. Just right for us - overall really glad we chose this hotel.

Review 21：Booked this hotel based on reviews. This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. We went in August...very hot! Our room was like a hot box! Reviews said that they paid extra for air conditoning..went to ask for this and they said that this was not possible..didn't exist. We slept with windows open..room was below a bar, very noisy! Garbage smell as well was awful until garbage truck came at 5am. Would never recommend this hotel! We had booked for 4 nights and left after the first night. Pool not great for young families.

Review 22：Noise coming from the street each night, could still hear it from a closed window. I am a light sleeper and took ear plugs. Although the toilets were spotlessly clean and hygienic there was a bad residual odour coming up from the drains (a problem in many older resorts perhaps).

Review 23：Distance to beach/old town. Breakfast buffet (from cereals, pastries, fruit to traditional spanish breakfast). Helpful, bilingual receptionists and breakfast staff. VERY comfortable mattresses & pillows! Clean & tidy rooms. Good wifi connection. Rooms decorated in modern fashion.

The hotel is located just in the center and very close to the beach. The stuff is fantastic and always very helpful with everything. Review 30：We had a fabulous time, Location was great. we had no problem getting sunbeds around the pool although we were there at the end of June. we had a lovely room , but we did have a superior . we were served at breakfast by very nice professional staff. they also had some lovely english girls from a college in Stoke, Katie,Eleanor and Maria, very professional, lovely young Ladies .

Review 31：Its the second time we have used the hotel. Glad we had the air con room as there was a heat wave (outside temp above 35). Staff very friendly (some were English students) all staff spoke very good English. Central to town and minutes from the beach and good restaurants.

Review 32：Apparently they have a great photographer making the hotel pictures forthe web but reality is very different. First we thought we entered thewrong hotel as nothing looked alike of what we had seen on the web.After double checking the hotel name we realized this was one of thosebig disappointments where the pictures on the web do not correspondwith the reality. A big no no in our opinion. Way too expensive forwhat it is!!

Review 44：No air conditioner in rooms. (A ceiling fan was enough though.) Creaking pool ladders. Need to be fixed! View from one side is to the wall (but it didn't bother us). This side is also noisy on the early morning - I think some giant machines went by, maybe cleaning streets or smth. I woke up in 6 am because of them.

Review 45：Very helpful and nice receptionist. Rooms have everything you need. Swimming pool with a small bar right by its side. Billiard table outside, near the pool. Location - not far from the center, coast and from the bus station as well. Good breakfast. They even offer you cava! Free mini-bar in family rooms! This was a total surprise. 2 waters, 2 colas and fanta - all for free. Free wifi, works well. I am sure this hotel deserves more than 1*. Absolutely.

Review 60：We had a nice family room with two bathrooms. The breakfast is rich, with a lot of fresh fruits (exactly as on the pictures). The staff is very friendly and you get the feeling to be very welcome here - especially as a family with small kids. Walk to the beach is short, all through the nice old City of Tossa de Mar. You can find a lot of restaurants and shops that are open still in October. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Review 81：The Hotel is situated in a quiet part of Tossa with 5 Minutes walk to the beach. After I have visited my room with a double bed with Baldachin, a brand new modern bathroom, flat screen television etc, I had to ask at the reception if they have lost one * as to me, this Hotel has everything to be a ** star Hotel and yet, has only one. Review 82：Our family room had two bathrooms, which is a first for any hotel that I have stayed in. Breakfast was great and included in price, even had champagne. Staff were all helpful and friendly. Beds were really comfy. Hotel is worthy of more than one star.

Review 83：The TV have only spanish programs. In some rooms the soundproofing is not enough and the street noise disturb during night time. No boiled (fried) eggs or porridge for breakfast.

Review 84：Very good hotel. Near the city center and only 5-10 minutes walk distance from the beaches. The rooms are comfortable with good furniture and bed linen, pillows. The flat TV in every room. The cooling system work properly. As per my opinion - the best rooms are with pool view and balcony. Rooms were cleaned every day and minibar with soft drinks and water refilled daily. Good breakfast with fresh baking every day, juices, coffee,tea,milk,corn flakes, cheese, fruits, etc. The morning Champaign also included. Very friendly and helpful staff. We are very thankful for good vacation.

Review 95：It's a good hotel for a family travel, especially in such a beautiful near sea small town. Besides the sunlight, sand beach and sea water, I simultaneously enjoy the swimming pool with my kids. Furthermore, it only takes us 5 minutes walk to the beach.

Swimming pool is surrounded by crazy paving and not tiled so there was no danger of slipping something my wife was worried about as she is recovering from a broken shoulder and knee cap.

Review 104：The room was not cleaned during our stay in the hotel, only the beds were arranged and the towels were changed, but the room floor and the bathroom was not washed. Walls seemed rather thin, you could even hear people snoring, talking, babies crying. Breakfast is quite basic. The hotel is near a bar and the music from there was very loud every night until 12 pm.

Review 106：Rooms with and without balcony are in the same price category. When you book a room you do not know what you will get. This can ruin your expectations. Parking 12€ per day due to the lack of space near the hotel. Find free or for 5-7€ per day near the bus station. Ask reception for an advice. Would be nice to have more hangers in the bathroom.
