Reviews for Hotel Vendome
Review 1:Very unpleasant staff who banged at the door at 10.30am to make sure we would leave the room at 11am! Room was average and aircon was very noisy
Review 2:Location
Review 3:The host was so helpful, friendly and could not do enough to ensure we were happy. Despite the language barrier he was a great communicator. When he could not be understood he went out of the way to find someone who could translate for him. Great breakfast in a delightful courtyard. Excellent security.
Review 4:Bathroom drainage was a bit of a problem. but nothing too bad.
Review 5:Christian was initially "Very French" but once we broke through he was always happy to see us, and even called us in the morning when we were late for breakfast and coffee. Brilliant location in an adorable part of the country.
Review 6:Very loud airconditioner, old pillows and towels.
Review 7:The hotel is inexpensive. Parking is nearby, but it has very loud airconditioner and small dark rooms. It's a good home base location for visiting Arles, Point du Gard, Avignon, and St. Remy. The city is very charming. Nostradamus lived and berried there in the old church.
Review 8:If you have a big car like we did, accessing the hotel, parking in front, then getting to the car park and then reversing the whole procedure when departing can be a bit of an ordeal.
Review 9:Very central. Handy for everything incl. shops, restaurants and bars. It had a nice court yard which our room looked out over. Parking was in a secure public car park about 200m from the hotel.
Review 10:Front desk not available most of the time
Review 11:Quiet location, simple Nice breakfast
Review 12:Position and availability of free parking very close to the hotel by free shuttle
