Review 1：Had a wonderful week at the Kauppahotelli Grand during the 2015 Sibelius Festival. It's a modest, comfortable hotel in a great location. What makes it a 5 star hotel though is the Hotel Manager, Sinikka Pihamaa. What a great lady; ever friendly and ever helpful!

Review 55：We booked a triple room but got a double instead. What we think is positive is the way that this is corrected. An error may just happen. We got 2 rooms with the en suite facility, so our teenage son had a private room. Furthermore there is an underground parking available which is free of charge. The breakfast was pretty good with enough choice of cold and warm food. The hotel is in the center of the city so no need to use your car to do some shopping.
Review 56：It was very hot during our staying (May 24-25, 2014), but there is no air-conditioning system at all. Our room was on the last floor, we couldn't sleep because of absence of any air flow. I think it is necessary to mount conditioners in all the rooms.

Review 59：There was a door between our room and neighbor room. Young ladies from Finland stayed there for one nihgt. It was nightmare. We were witnesses of all that took place in their room. They drank spoke loud sang songs etc... We haven't slept that night at all. So far there should be no doors between neghbour rooms. Besides this the last day (Sunday) our room was not cleaned at all.

Review 63：The hotel was unstaffed from about 8 p.m. and from midday on Sundays. There were minor things such as no pedal on the pedal bin; no sprinkler on the shower-head; no plug in the washbasin. Not that any of that bothered me. Fortunately there wasn't a fire and no one tried to tailgate me in. The entrance hall was gloomy (main colour brown) and could have done with some refurbishment.

Review 66：3Rd floor hallway & room were very hot & stuffy throughout thestay, despite window being wide open and heat not on.The room toilet/bathroom was actually dangerous; one could only sit on the toilet (or get up from it) by angling back in/out from a narrow space between the toilet-roll-holder and side of the shower frame, which otherwise was easy to trip over; I am amazed this arrangement could pass a safety inspection. (Note: I am a slender person, so my size was not the issue) There was also an old carton of milk in the room refrigerator on our arrival. The staff apologized for this.
