Reviews for Beauregard
Review 1:Central hotel, with excellent facilities. Only one complaint, the evening menue is very restrictive. But there are so many restaurants in the village it really is not a problem
Review 2:slightly noisy pipes from the heating but not enough to stop me returning - it might just have been our room
Review 3:great location, good fixed price menu, good breakfast
Review 4:La Clusaz out of season consequently, no lunch on offer for my business guests, fixed 3 course menu in the evening, and not to ,y taste. [Thank goodness for restaurant L'Outa opposite]. much as expected
Review 5:Friendly staff, very good room, pleasant amenities.
Review 6:We asked for a double bed but were instead given two single beds pushed together which was quite disappointing. They don't provide airport transfers but said they could arrange a taxi for quite a lot of money. So we hired a car instead.
Review 7:The swimming pool etc were very nice. But it could get busy at some points during the day. Room was small but cosy. Free juice and cake were sometimes available which was so nice!
Review 8:The hotel clearly does not match a 4-stars standard: we had a double room which is too small, the bathroom with a big spider's web on the wall and a bathrobe with a huge hole. Really disappointing.
Review 9:The location is very good and the view is fantastic.
Review 10:The double room we booked was actually a kids room but to be fair we did book late. No a/c or fans to deal with the +30c temperatures. Breakfast was not included but plenty nice places nearby.
Review 11:Good location at the top of the town. Nice outside patio and bar.
Review 12:On arrival we discovered that without half board we were not always able to get a table for dinner including on first night. However even this turned out well - staff promptly booked a restaurant near by, transferred us yo half board thereafter and explained that we could take a voucher from them to partner restaurants fir variety. Staff here really give fantastic service. We desperately hope we can return next year!
Review 13:Beauregard gives the atmosphere of a laid back family house party. The food is beyond expectation, pool a decent size and temperature, complementary après ski juice & cakes enjoyed by all generations.
Review 14:It's one of the smallest rooms I've ever stayed in - no room to move with a baby bed.
Review 15:Good location right next to ski lift. Staff all great - especially with our young daughter. Big pool. Free coffee at the bar.
Review 16:It is a true family hotel during the ski season, full of children running around, screaming in the lobby, in the corridors where the rooms are, in the swimming pool, etc. On top of that, internet was down, and the room was one floor below the jaccuzi, with the noice until 21hr. Relatively small room for the price one has to pay.
Review 17:Location, 100 meter from the main ski lift is superb, and staff friendly.
Review 18:Ski locker was not heated so boots hard and cold in the morning. A small point but no alternative pillows for those that like them soft and not lumpy. Another fireplace with more sofas for those that want that mountain fireplace reading a book feel rather than rather conservative searing area.
Review 19:Staff were excellent - Katy and her team in the restaurant were faultless. A fixed menu for dinner was excellent and served seamlessly yet efficiently. Location for the pistes spot on - a mere 15m walk. Would certainly return.
Review 20:Wifi was a hit and miss. But this did help us to get away from it all !! Busy this week due to French holidays but the hotel coped well with early childrens sittings in the restaurant.
Review 21:Really is close to the ski lift also skis and boot storage was available free . A great chef the food was varied, local and well cooked. Restaurant service was friendly and helpful Bedroom was warm and comfortable.
Review 22:If i could change anything it would be to put more sofas similar to ones around fire, in the foyer/ bar area . this would make the foyer more cosy .as looked a little bare but otherwise great !
Review 23:staff - so lovely, breakfast excellent , rooms simple but very comfortable
Review 24:We had a problem with hotel staff as my sons computer was damaged whilst we were skiing by the cleaning staff. We have not had any compensation and they deny any responsibility.
Review 25:The hotel us very near to a major lift to access the ski rang in La Clusaz. I had a nice room as it was in the front of the hotel, but my children's room was too small for three and was noisy with complicated access.
Review 26:The receptionist can be more helpful. She kept forgetting things when we asked her to check on restaurants. Our booking came with food lodging but it was difficult to secure a table from the restaurants that the hotel collaborate with. Finally we managed to book by ourselves.
Review 27:Very convenient for those who are looking for a am resort next to the ski lift. Helpful and friendly staff to help on ski rentals.
Review 28:bed too hard, cheap pillows, room too small and too warm, Breakfast: in self service including the hot beverage, not enough choice, quality of the bread very average.
Review 29:length of the pool, new hammam, the view on the mountains, room quiet, location right in the center of town
Review 30:- The room can look small for some people. - And it was promised with a bath, but had a shower. It wasn't a problem for us, but it should be noted that shower was open, without really a cabin, but part of a bathroom, so it's sometimes wet in the bathroom itself. - Cleaning of the room is sometimes very late in the afternoon. - Rooms can be noisy, especially if they face the side of the restaurant and hotel entrance.
Review 31:- The location of the hotel is comfortable: close to the nature and to the town. - I didn't find the parking small: there was always a place, but we were there in september. - Spa area is quite big and nicely done. - Very good and rich breakfast. -The hotel itself is a beautiful big chalet. They serve a free coffee, juice and patisserie in the hall during whole day.
Review 32:The hotel says there is free parking, but there were nowhere near enough spaces during our visit. And the roads in/out are not wide enough for 2-way traffic which can cause chaos at busy times. We were promised free Wi-Fi but the signal did not reach our room - we had to stand right next to the door to get even a weak signal! The hotel tried to charge us for 8 breakfasts that we didn't have.
Review 33:Good location, close to the centre of town. Also, it's nice to find a hotel with family rooms.
Review 34:Impersonal, bad service, no knowlegde of the place by the persons working in the hotel.

Review 52:room was a little on the small sife
Review 53:staff friendly and attentive good food 20 metres to Bossonet lift
Review 54:Bar area needs more attention by staff
Review 55:Location & Comfort,
Review 56:Nice location, staff was friendly, breakfast was good. Room was nicely decorated, clean and quiet.
Review 57:WiFi - there was no WiFi in my room during whole stay.
Review 58:Everything exept WiFi
Review 59:the noise in the room, u can hear people walking in the corridor
Review 60:the location / a the ski service / the lobby and the amazingly quiet and pleasant terrace
Review 61:Sounds proofing was not great so could hear people outside at night along with piste groomers. It wasn't too bad but if I had to find a fault that would be it.
Review 62:Very helpful staff, location literally at the bottom of the slopes and ski rentals brought to the doorstep of the hotel were massive wins!
Review 63:The Spa was shabby - especially the changing rooms. Breakfast could have been better - and there was no English Breakfast tea!
Review 64:The location was ideal. The Ski hire staff were extremely helpful and were happy to drive us around.
Review 65:The price obviously varies depending on demand and can sometimes be a little steep.
Review 66:We've now stayed at this hotel 3 times and have been really happy each time. The staff are extremely helpful, the food is fantastic and the rooms clean and nicely sized. We'll definitely be going back again ;-)
Review 67:The restaurant was closed.we chose the hotel because it had a restaurant.no great apology for the inconveince.no phone in room to the desk.had to go down to the desk to get wifi code.could have been given at check in time.
Review 68:Rooms were compact and there was no air conditioning. Duvets on the beds were too heavy with temperatures in the low thirties.
Review 69:The position of the hotel was very good. Staff were generally very helpful and friendly. Large heated swimming pool was a bonus.
Review 70:The rooms were far too small for a 4 star hotel, where we wanted tospend time relaxing and enjoying our privicy. The decor was also darkand dingy and lacked any atmosphere and we both felt very claustrophobicin it. In its present state we would not stay again. Breakfast wasanother complete misrepresentation of a 4 star hotel. What a muddle! Notable preprepared for individual parties/guests to greet them, and acomplete 'bun fight' trying to get to food that was constantlyrunning out. No, it was not good.
Review 71:The staff were delightful. You could start and finish skiing outsidethe hotel.
Review 72:The greeting at reception was appauling, its scruffy, the staff wereunprofessional and very unhelpful I had spend 5 nights in your 5 starsister hotel it was lie night and dayI was horrified!!!! My room was dirty
Review 73:The restaurant, the location
Review 74:An addition on the evening menu of a a less complicate main course giving a third choice from the present two. Also to consider a vegetarian option
Review 75:The staff are friendly and smile a creat deal. Ski in and out was a great advantage
Review 76:Hot tub not hot, sauna difficult to find (no signs or directions) down along and twisty corridor. Bar/lounge area could do with more softseating. Breakfast ok but poor value.
Review 77:Location - ski in / ski out, ski rental shop has office attached tohotel with storage facilities, restaurant maitre d' and bar staffexcellent, dinner very good, reception staff friendly, room pleasantwith modern bathroom.
Review 78:Not the Hotels fault but adjoining ski in / out lifts closed so had to travel to far end of village which is frustrating when it is there but not open and the Hotel is classed as Ski in /out
Review 79:Good decent family location / hotel with attentive staff in the main .
Review 80:Poor condition inside and outside, dated decor and in poor conditionwith poor workmanship where repainted etc. Basement walk to pool approx1980s, dark and dismal. Evening food very poor - nothing likeappropriate quality for claimed 4 star hotel, breakfast passable.Restaurant staff very variable - some clearly untrained and notcommitted. Compared to similar priced Austrian hotels in ski resorts insummer - not a patch.
Review 81:Location close to fields and with great views. Balcony. Fairly recentbathroom, lots of hot water, naturals toiletries very nice. Poolclean. Reception staff helpful but unable to offer better room - noneare up to date!
Review 82:Unbelievably no apparent means of transport to main lift in La Clusazwhich meant having to walk up and down hill in ski boots carryingequipment. A distance of > 1km. Enquiries resulted in speak of someapparently mythical shuttle service but nobody seemed to be clear onwhere this went from and how often and the whole time we were walking upand down the hill nothing of this kind passed us! We also asked aboutthe route to ski down to main lift as we had never been to the resortbefore and gave up after asking four people including hotel staff as no-one seemed to know. However, I suspect this may have been down tolanguage barriers as our French was not good enough and very few peoplespoke English and I think in the end it was easier to shrug shouldersand say "I don't know" then attempt to assist further.
Review 83:Close to shops and good restaurants.
Review 84:Swimming pool and sauna in a very bad condition
Review 85:spa gym
Review 86:location, location, location ski rental service at hotel prolonged check out ok brekafast for France
