Review 1:Warm welcome and great advice on what do to in Salon and around Location is good, less than 5min from the center of the historic town Great value for money overall

Review 2:No aircon!

Review 3:Fantastic location and great owners who were very lovely and helpful - and who gave great advice on local restaurants. Staying at Hotel Select helped make our stay in Provence a great experience. Peaceful garden to relax in as well.

Review 4:Nothing - would have liked to stay longer

Review 5:Excellent service, very helpful owner, perfect location, lots of space in family room, very good value for money

Review 6:The hosts Donald and Laetitia were very welcoming and did everything to help. Donald was a mine of information for touring the area and had lots of information about where to park in various towns. The room was small but comfortable and cleaned daily. Salon de Provence is a very pretty little town and easy to get around. There were not many tourists.

Review 7:An excellent room, spacious, great bathroom, great location, traditional and a fabulous breakfast in the pastry shop downstairs. Free parking inside the property and easy to locate in the centre of the old town. A must choose.

Review 8:Nice old building but converted on the cheap into a Warren of roms. The room had a tiny toilet cubicle in one corner - really quite difficult to sit down! Reception was closed until 3pm and the next morning opened very reluctantly at 7am to let us check out. Management seemed to value their time off more than catering to guests' requirements.

Review 9:Excellent quiet street very near the historic centre. Nice interior garden courtyard. Staff very knowledgeable about the town and able to make good recommendations.

Review 10:The friendliness of the owners, so helpful, advised us where to visit and made our stay special. Great location, good restaurants walking distance, loved it.

Review 11:The bed is too small for two aduts

Review 12:Friendliness of the owner/manager and the location

Review 13:Great location, wonderful hosts, free wi fi, nice outdoor courtyard and balcony, great advice on exploring the local area

Review 14:central location. The owner/manager and his wife and staff gave excellent service.

Review 17:the room was quite small

Review 18:Friendly staff, nice decoration, cleanliness,

Review 19:Extra: secure parking for our bicycles. Extra: cereal was not on the breakfast menu, after asking it was fetched.

Review 20:wifi is poor in my room

Review 21:very kind steff

Review 22:Average breakfast.

Review 23:Staff, character of hotel, location.

Review 24:Very nice staff Good location

Review 25:Facilities, cleanliness, location, friendliness

Review 26:Room we had was in very poor condition

Review 27:The owner was very helpfull.

Review 28:Lovely hotel. The owners make you feel very welcome. They show commitment and hospitality. And have excellent recommendations on where to go and where to eat! Rooms are cozy, cool and comfortable.I will stay here again when I get back.

Review 29:Everything was perfect, especially the owners. They were prepared for everything we asked and gave very good advice to visit the area. Very responsive and attentive - left a great impression on us - we have extended our stay in the hotel just for them.

Review 30:No electric plug for hairdryer or other appliance.

Review 31:Friendly host who also provided good suggestions for where to go and what to do. Reserved parking. Beautiful old building which the owners are updating and improving, creating a home-like atmosphere.

Review 32:The owners are super-friendly and our room was very cozy and cheerful. For people who are looking for a welcoming, nice place to stay for a reasonable price, the Hotel Select is an excellent choice. We stayed there because we had to catch a morning flight from Marseille the next day, and would not hesitate to stay there again in this situation.

Review 33:This hotel was beautiful! We had a lovely holiday in Provence. We stayed here for four nights. The owners were so helpful and kind to us. The hotel room was clean and nicely decorated. The bed was big and comfy. The shower was great. We had breakfast on two of the mornings, it was so nice! Fresh croissants and baguettes with jams, cream cheese, yogurt with honey, fruit, coffee, juice... yum! We would recommend using the secure car park a few minutes walk away. Salon is a great place to stay if exploring Provence. There are so many beautiful villages nearby with many scrummy boulangeries, cafes and places of interest. Bigger towns such as Arles, Avignon and Aix-en-Provence are all around 30 mins away and all worth a visit. Salon de Provence itself is a lovely town with some great restaurants and shops and a lovely church and castle. We loved our stay at Hotel Select and will definitely be back again soon. Thank you to Donald and Letitia for looking after us so well. See you next year! :-)

Review 34:There's no door between the bathroom and the actual room - only a curtain.

Review 35:We had a family room (4 adults), which appeared to be two separate rooms with a private entrance from the hotel yard. Each one had a private bathroom.

Review 36:Small bed, no AC (very hot and sunny area in summer)

Review 37:Really friendly and helpful owners (nice family), all of them were great, including their dog! :) Perfect service, good clean room, good breakfast in a very nice yard, perfect way of safe parking even if not close to the hotel, great location in city center.

Review 38:That we only booked one night!

Review 39:Family run hotel who are very helpful, gracious and friendly. Breakfast in the morning with fresh bread and croissants on the inner patio was great. Wanted to stay longer at this very well kept and clean hotel. You could see the pride in those running it.

Review 40:We are a bit fussy about our pillows but it would be churlish to mark them down.

Review 41:The welcome was fantastic and the couple in charge were always around and available to make sure we were having a good time. We were shown a list of restaurants for the evening and they were all described to us very helpfully.

Review 42:My only criticism would be the bedding needs to be modernised to fit inwith all the other facilities that have been upgraded in this lovelyold building.

Review 43:The friendly and helpful proprieter ,excellent position of hotelincludingl a car park out the front, many choices of restaurants andquiet location.

Review 44:The hotel is full of character. From the street it just looks like all the other pretty French buildings, terraced with green shutters at the windows. But inside it is much bigger than you think, with a lovely courtyard at the back and a terrace on the first floor. The tiled floors are beautiful, and the rooms are comfortable with a nice en suite. The owners are a lovely young couple who speak excellent English and are very helpful.

Review 45:I had a very enjoyable stay at Hotel Select, thanks in large part to thefriendly owners and their willingness to be extra helpful. For instance, they provided me with a map of the town and suggested certainrestaurants that would be open on a Sunday night. They also recommendedthings to see. When it was hot outside during breakfast, they set up theumbrella to block the sun.The room itself was charming. Even though I didn't get a room with air conditioning, there was a fan and everything worked out fine. Clean, simple, and quiet.

Review 46:It was very french. We had a little apartment to ourselves so it wasquiet. Having breakfast in the courtyard was a lovely way to start theday. Easy walk into town without being right in centre so it was quiet

Review 47:Airconditioning would be nice during hot Provence summer days. Wifi signal coverage could be improved.

Review 48:Excellent location in Salon de Provence - 2 minutes walk from the center. It is also great base for day trips in the area, very close to a number of top attractions like Les Baux, Saint Remy, etc. Excellent service, owners were extremely welcoming, accomodating and helpful. Just to give a few examples: they gave us great tips for planning our day trip in Provence, arranged free parking, etc. Family room was great and clean. It is actually two separate rooms with shower/WC in each room. On top of that, during the day we had an inner yard with a small fountain! Good breakfast. Simple, pieceful and authentic Provence environment. Great value for the money. Highly recommended!

Review 49:the shower was quite simple and small, but it served its function

Review 50:The staff are very friendly and helpful. the building certainly has its character. everything is within walking distance.

Review 51:Parking can be a bit of an issue, if you have a car.

Review 52:Very friendly family run hotel. Good location for exploring old city of Salon-de-Provence. Recommended.

Review 53:Old fashined and authentic. A real provance feeling. The owners are extreamly friendly and helpfull. My wife said that the hotel is a perfect weekend or a full week getaway for a couple or a family.

Review 54:I liked everything. The service was great and the owners were such asweet couple and ran the hotel absolutely excellent. The rooms werefabulous, very clean and for the breakfast they had more than enoughchoices for food. The hotel was located really close to the Centre, twominutes away. The hotel was very peaceful, quite and homey. The peoplein the city are friendly, they are like family to each other. It is asmall, cute and unforgettable city. Every Friday in the city Centrethere would be a dance and music session at night where everybody wouldget up and dance or watch. The whole city is like a huge family.

Review 55:An atmosphere oof peace and harmony fills the hotel. Bakeries, grocers, bars and restaurants are just around the corner, therres a bandstand that has live music and dances a stones throw away. The staff are a very friendly family, helpful and couteous

Review 56:The managers/owners of the hotel have a small child, and every time wespeak a little loud or even scratch our chair on the balcony ,they askus not to make a noise because of the baby.

Review 57:Staff was friendly

Review 58:The room was "cosy" (as is common in France) for four people, but it was fine for one night's stay.

Review 59:Donald and his wife were very kind and helpful! We had brought a picnic and they set us up with place setting and drinks and gave advice on where to get tomatoes!

Review 60:The hotel staff was outstanding. They assisted us in recommending restaurants and called ahead to our next hotel to request an early arrival. Though the room was small, it was immaculate and the bathroom worked well. Breakfast on the terrace was excellent. The value of the hotel was extraordinary. The hotel was situated in the middle of the city, convenient to nmbers of restaurants.

Review 61:The hotel Select is a good familiar hotel, clean and comfortable in the downtown. Good price/ quality ratio, especially for the very expensive stays in France! The wi-fi is free, that's a plus!

Review 62:Excellent hotel staffs, friendly and helpful. Very nice quite hotel withlovely backyard garden for breakfast. Plus very good location, only take5 minutes to town center.
