Reviews for La Suite du Village d'Eze

Review 1:Good location in the Eze village. Old 16 century villa with excellent view of the sea and town. worth breakfast. quiet and clean, good for relax. Nice host pick me up from the bus station.

Review 2:Parking is a bit of a hassle but owners provide a special permit. Tour buses of tourists during the day so the little city is jammed. Suite is 12th century so it has it's limitations but has been upgraded beautifully.

Review 3:The city at night when hordes of tourists leave, is absolutely magical. View from the small roof top balcony, especially at sunrise and in the evening is difficult to describe. The homemade breakfast was the best in France and everywhere else!

Review 4:Not enough time to go to hotel and explore as I couldn't leave the view on terrace fantastic.

Review 5:The meeting and taking usvto the jewel in the crown by Fred

Review 6:No screen or door on the toilet Sofa arm broke Cd player did not work Insufficient wardrobe space if stay for a long while. Parking could be a problem at busy times as village very popular with tourists.

Review 7:Good location in village Top floor was nice and bright Clean Wi fi worked well Helpful owner

Review 8:Bed was 2 twins pushed together, not very comfortable. Difficult hauling luggage up the cobblestone streets to the Suite, but worth it. The village is very crowded with "day trippers" during the day, but quiet and sleepy at night.

Review 9:The view from the top of the mountain overlooking the sea, breathtaking. Fred the owner is wonderful and welcoming! Free wifi was installed while we were there. Feels like you are staying in a castle fortress, wow!

Review 10:We had a wonderful stay in the suite. We really enjoyed to eat the breakfast on the roof terrace - fantastic view!! The suite (and Eze village) is perfect for a couple who want to enjoy just each other.

Review 19:nothing

Review 20:This place is beyond comprehension! First, you are staying in a medieval village, in a medieval house. Yes, you actually are staying in a place where families used to live for hundreds of years. The suite has the medieval character, but is equipped with anything modern you can imagine. A steep stairway (almost a ladder) leads to the roof top terrace. Now hold your breath! What you see from there is beyond description. Just google this place (“bastide camelias eze – images”) and look at the pictures. It’s all true: you are sitting on top of the roof of a house on top of a medieval village, on top of a hill several hundred meters above the Cote d’Azur. Unbelievable! Oh yes, in all this you forget that everything is taken care of (including breakfast being served in your suite), and perfectly prepared and organized for you. Just call Sylviane or Fred, the owners, ask, and it will be done. I have nothing but awe and delight to convey to you.

Review 21:Place was charming and loved the roof top view and sitting and enjoying our surroundings.

Review 22:Everything was perfect

Review 23:Location, balcony and view, friendly welcome from The owner.

Review 24:No complaints.

Review 25:Great location with an incredible view of the Riviera.

Review 26:friendliness of owner, breakfast and of course comfort and view

Review 27:The view from the terrace

Review 28:Our stay at this location was way to short...we hope to come back in the near future and this would be the place to stay

Review 29:We liked the location in the Village of Eze. This was a one of a kind property with 3 levels, the living room, the bedroom and then the rooftop terrace the view was amazing. I would do this over and over again. The owners were exceptional. We were invited to their B&B which is also outstanding.

Review 30:We loved everything about the accomodations and location.

Review 31:The perfect, authentic medieval house with every amenity and comfort. The house was perfectly situated with 180 degree views of the Med with great access to the hike trailhead to Eze sur la Mer. Fred and Sylviane, the property owners show great pride in the property and equal care for their guests. In a word, the experience was remarkable. Don't hesitate to book this unique experience!

Review 32:There is hardly any need for approvement. Maybe some ham and cheese for breakfast.

Review 33:We stayed for 2 nights at Easter and highly recommend to stay here! The suite is a fantastic place situated at the very best spot in the old village. You have 3 floors: living room downstairs, bedroom & bathroom combined upstairs + a roof terrace. The bathroom is thoroughly modern. The roof terrace is small, but the view is breathtaking. Bring a glass of wine up there and you can sit just watching for hours! You can see all the peninsula of Cap Ferrat, Nice Airport and the mountains at St. Tropez. The hosts are very nice and helpful, and they come at 8 o'clock in the morning to prepare a delicious breakfast in the living room downstairs (which you may take much later if you want). If you really want to leave the village you may enjoy the main hotel 2 km from there with pool etc. There are nice shops in the village, a good restaurant (Taverna) and a beautiful exotic garden on the top.

Review 34:Cars are not allowed but can be parked in designated areas but these are very tight spaces. Be sure to fold in your side mirror to avoid damage. It is best to limit your luggage!

Review 35:This little apartment is beautifully decorated and very unusual. It is located within the "old city". There are good restaurants nearby. But best is the view of the Mediterranean from the roof!

Review 36:No internet. No door to the bathroom, just a half-wall. Having to goback to the B&B to check out.

Review 37:This is a fantastic place to stay. The small town of Eze is situated ona mountaintop overlooking the coast. This suite is a medieval era housethat was renovated inside to be wonderfully comfortable. The first flooris a lovely room (which we didn't use), the second floor is thebedroom and bathroom, and then on the roof is a small terrace (bigenough for two) with an amazing view of the coast. The town itselfpretty much shuts down at night so there isn't much to do exceptenjoy the view. There are some restaurants in the town and only twoother hotels. It was pretty much dead after 6pm, although we were therein the beginning of the high season so perhaps in mid-summer it'sbusier. The owners are also exceptionally nice and helpful. I wouldhighly recommend this as a place to stay in Eze.

Review 38:nothing...loved it all.

Review 39:EVERYTHING! Location, views, amenities, comfort, hospitality

Review 40:Right in the heart of the old town of Eze with a stunning terrace giving a 180° view from the hills above Monaco to the extravagance of Cap Ferat.

Review 41:The view

Review 42:Loved being in the old town

Review 43:Very unusual with an unreal roof terrace. Great location and very friendly owners. Very private.
